Stained Glass

Stained glass corpses of color Transparencies of souls Caught on somber stages Cast in eternal roles Prismatic lead framed oracles Frozen at their tasks Silhouettes of entities Woven into masks Eyes of silent spirits Caught adrift in years Pressed in one dimension Chained in arc-ed spheres If their voices now could ring Of a choral note Sure it would be shrill enough To shatter all our hope

This one was inspired by the Church windows... as a child I was certain the Saints were watching me... LOL... I hope they are... thank you and God bless you... JVD
