Corona Virus Welcome To the Uk

Its here the thing we all fear,
The apocalypse is near,
The devils spurn has risen,
Trapping us in our homes like prisons,

To plague our planet already broken,
Is it retaliating, squeezing our lungs chocking,
Like the black death the plague upon our people,
Swooping, stealing the lives of the weak and feeble.

The most innocent are victims of the virus,
A sickening twist to this sickness sent to us,
From an unholy ghastly maker,
This is not the handy work of any saviour.

Is it a clense of the human race,
A government conspiracy for goodness sakes,
Bats are where it supposedly derives,
A rodent of the night skies,

Despite everyone's efforts its spreading like flies,
No loo roll paracetamol or thermoeter will scare it away,
It looks like it plans to stay,Just like an unwanted guest, Who's warn out its stay, so I'll guess I'll be the first to say
Welcome Corona virus to the UK.

Premium Member Temperature Rising

At any moment spring might arrive
Be prepared with a light jacket in hand
Can you feel the cold wind running away?
Dance with me as the meadows turn green
Enjoy the sounds of streams as they thaw
Feel the warmth of the sun on your face
Great days are about to begin
Happiness returns with the singing of the birds.

I love how the coming of spring makes me feel
Jumping up out of bed anxious to greet a new day
Kissing your eyelids to wake you up
Let's go for a walk
Maybe we will even see a glimpse of summer today!
Now is the very best time to greet the day

On days like this
People seem so much happier
Quietly taking in the moment
Rising just that little bit earlier
So that they can enjoy nature coming back to life
Trading winter clothing for optimistic shorts
Underestimating winter's resilience
Variable temperature seem the order of the day
Wise people keep warm clothing close at hand
X X X OOO, I see there is a better way to keep warm!
Yes this is the time of year for lovers
Zero degrees and the temperature is rising!

Change In Temperature

11/11/15

Birds of the same feather
Eat and stay together

You yourself can possibly make it better
But not if you take forever

 Such strange weather
And in the water a change in temperature

The mouth of an animal with rabies begins frothing
While the degrees continue dropping

The windows start fogging
As many things struggle to survive the cold, beginning of mold or rotting

A process showing little to none signs of stopping
Which to many is shocking

Using your brain's smart
Got to stay sharp
Even after a late start
In an area that always remained harsh

Know what
In a given lifetime can only do so much
Including consuming donuts
In a given day before you throw up
From overdoing it, and not listening to your own gut
Even after ample knowledge was given and you were shown stuff

Hesitation
Towards any destination
Doesn't help one get there, and neither will giving into temptation
Overconsumption or overmedication

Over the years in certain areas there was a rise and fall in elevation
Above and below spots held for celebrations

A Rise In Temperature

life flight victims rise
say you were scarred, torn of clothes

Premium Member Cold Temperature

Looking through the lace glazed window
patterns etched due to frosty cold
heat failed to keep them clear
as temperatures dropped low.

I put my fingers on the glass
prints became imprinted
showing where the warmth
had touched the cold pane.

I then blew on the pane
with one big breath
one big circle appeared
providing a peeking hole.

Extreme cold touch the prairies
heat could not keep up
a peeking hole was all needed
as a storm brewed outside.

Premium Member What Is Your Temperature

What is your temperature?
The doctor asked
During an ordinary visit.
I left the examining room
And walked through
My palace
Skin and hair
Nails and tissue,
75 years of growth.
Ivy wild
as a Venus flytrap
Snaring an insect.
Tendrils curl and cover
Cages of ribs
Prisons of my own making,
Arid and Dry.

Soothing rain
Falls from mouth and nose
With nowhere to go,
Pores clogged
With regret.
Breath shallow
In and out
In and out.
No escape.
Chest
Rising and falling,
Rising and falling.
Dry air moving
Dry air moving
Over parted lips.
Teeth clenching
Unclenching
Teeth clenching
Unclenching.
“Temperature is normal.”
I respond.

I return the next day
Where is your pain?
The doctor asks.
I reenter my
Pulsing, beating, breathing
Palace.
A child moves further
Away on the bed
From an adult’s
Meandering hand.
The hand disappears.
The touch remains.
Blood pressure rises
Breathing becomes shallow.
Fatigued,
I relax
By aqua blue
pools of bliss.
75 years of blessings
Fill once arid spaces.
Adventures daringly dreamed
by a South Chicago kid,
Raised by parents
of the Second World War
“Roosevelt knew the
Japs were coming.”
He did nothing
To stop it.”
A ticky tacky house
By the tracks
Is our Gardens of Babylon.
I say good-night
To the whistling roar
Of a mighty steam engine
Ever so lightly
Shaking my foundation.

I return the next day.
Cheered by
Yesterday’s excavation.
I meet Seven Brides
Carrying oil lamps.
Their light
brightens once-dark corners.
Castle-like ventricles
Arch into stairways
Leading to
Magnificent towers.
Pink, baby skin
Warms a Mother’s heart.
Three children grown,
Now parents.
Six grandchildren,
Hardly children.
I look closer.
The pain evaporates.
Geysers of Gratitude,
Mist fills deserts.
Orchids of pink
Violet and gold.
Bright Pink Flamingoes circle
Capture and close.
Childhood scars,
Covered by mossy
Sponges, soak up old anger,
Vacuuming the shame
Of innocence.

I know now
Why the ivy
Meanders, clings and binds
To new cells
And old bones.
Its tendrils give
Eternal life.
Evergreen,
It breathes
Forgiveness
Fidelity and constancy.

October Soared Temperature

Hi guys go through my new poem.

 OCTOBER-SOARED TEMPERATURE

 Extemporing October heat, October heat,
You always dance with the flaming beat.
Not like September, Sophisticatedly you treat,
Removing water from taste buds when we eat.
Oops, not again you act like an evil!

Exchanging heat, You rose a notch,
Excreting perspiration through the pores of body, You hikingly botch.
Blending the temperature with moistened air,
Bless us with the Somatic sensation of cold, which is obviously fare.
Whoa, by then everybody will be amazed!

Ivory nuts of the earth's palm,
 Stresslessly you be so calm.
 Awfully you pour some rain,
Frantically we will be so madly insane.
Dont inject blusterous blaze on the seashore.
 Ouch, that really hurts!

 Flaring star with high intensity,
 Melting down the earths dignity.
 Scotch your heightening desire,
 Briskly inhale refreshing breathe.
Ohhh boiling Sun, shade under your sheathe!

 As like tempting cheesy dip,
Magical smile will appear between the paired lips.
 Hold your stubborn heat back,
Begging you please not to swindle and smack.
 Alas, mercilessly accomplish your goal!

Radiating solar, dont propagate your burning rays,
Serenely shower your pleasant warmth, every day.
 Glacial winds please wrap around,
Happily waving everybody I will found.
Woohoo, Rosaceously waiting for glint of dawn!

Temperature Rising

Passion, Wonderful sensation. From lust,
and desire. Divine temptation; Soul on
fire. Found within fassion. There is no
defeat, no escape. A heat in mind, Etched
in your fate, Burned within Time. It sinks
in so deep. Passion is Love with a drop of
Sin. Ideas scattered and tossed, No way to
win. Hormones blazing in passion's view,
Juices boiling on the brain; All things
created in sinful bliss, Without any kind
of pain. Sometimes found within a kiss. Or
even within a look or two. The powerhouse
of mind and heart. Where time collects a
toll; rips lives apart. Buys your smiles
and pays with your soul. A portrait; a
picture; of procreation. With a
misinterpretation, called Love.
Satisfaction of heart, fullfilled in mind.
Passion is happiness, when you've forgotten
time. When you've found God, sitting Above.

Temperature

for the word contest: my word is temperature

today, it rained little sprinkles like drops of a single tear
but the sounds of thunder sent shockwaves thru my ear
...I sat alone, in the kitchen, peering out the window as I ate
this may be a storm coming, I'm just guessing, I rate
a pitter and a patter
I just sat there as if the noise didn't matter
drinking my tea
and eating my meat
enduring the rumble, like it was music, some form of art
the thunder roared... I hate this part
the rain got heavy, mature
then came all the lightning and rapture
I can't stand days like this...but nonetheless, it's nature, it's pure
the bright side is...when it clears up, it'll bring a nice temperature

When the Temperature Goes Down

Started out with the calendar’s first cold months, started a year with some new reservations.
Ending now with the last cold months, ending the year with some old sense of resignation.
I’ll be yelling out about my dreams and my peace; I’ll be yelling out that ‘I want it that way’,
But I’ll be bailing out on all my plans again, thinking about today turning into yesterday.

Don’t blame me for being a sloth,
For my cold mind producing these lazy thoughts.
Of course, this sweater weather will make me lazy,
When the lights and the nights are dim and hazy.

In a movie with cheap visual effects, I saw a fat anaconda wrapping its prey, taking its life minute by minute,
This blanket is making me snug, wrapping around like I’m a helpless slug. That anaconda, this blanket seems to mimic it.
So how can I fulfil my year end goals, as each page of the calendar unfolds, as I’m stuck in this blanket?
If my motivation was a prototype of the Titanic, this blanket would surely be the glacier that sank it.

I look outside at the winter sky of my city; it ain’t that bright and lively but it still looks pretty, clouds sketched and painted with wintry shades of grey.
I look outside at the cold streets, people walking with cold feet, finding it hard to breathe, wearing pollution masks cosplaying as a Jain monk/Batman’s Bane.
2 hours later, I’m still trapped in this anaconda, filled with heat of a hundred thermonuclear bombs,
I’m low now but still I pray to the high powers, that this winter, everyone gets a blanket to be warm, even the poor stray dogs.

Laziness and hopelessness, rigidity and frigidity take the best of me, as the temperature and the sun go down,
As Santa Claus comes around, as my college shuts down, as smoke and fog make a cold cocktail and engulf my Indian town.

The Taking of Temperature

When Henry's toy thermometer
Was used to check his bear
For fever, I was most surprised
That not the derriere

Nor mouth was where he placed it,
For he made it very clear
That the best place for a reading
Was inside the teddy's ear.

I was poised to thus correct him
But I realized nowadays
That we measure kids for fever
In some unexpected ways.

In my day, things sure were different.
Still, we wouldn't need a push
To insert thermometers
Into the ear and not the tush.

Premium Member August 22 In Kc Has Been Brutal

August sizzled our eyebrows off this year
However, our barbeque places were in full gear
We ate our ribs, and yelled Kansas City Chiefs!
From the outside, however, there was no relief.
The weather has been brutal, the heat stifling and mean.
It's the worst August this hotspot has ever seen!

Heat's Temperature

Scared, shaking candle—
Fire's a gasp, in the dark; lifts
Single finger high,
Points to a shady wall; freed
Shadows warmed beyond the hall.

All Lifes Threats

Global Temperature Rise, is telling us
the human race, has to revolutionize

Our Warming Oceans, is not surprising
with dying coral, from dirty emissions

Shrinking Ice Sheets, will increase demise
with no action, flooding our streets

The Glacial Retreat, needs to stabilize
for all life, wanting to compete

Decreased Snow Cover, is very unwise
for nature’s creatures, with territory hangover

Sea Level Rise, needs to minimize
for life’s protection, not for traumatize

Declining Sea Ice, is bad downsize
with warming skies, a human enterprise

Extreme Whether Events, are negative highs
with total destruction, and tremendous agonize

The Ocean Acidification, makes us realize
we are killing, our life’s evolution
