Premium Member A Tale of Death:

This aspect is succinctly told by, W.Somerset Maugham from an Arab tale:

The speaker is Death:

There was a merchant in Baghdad who sent his servant to market to buy provisions and in a little while the servant came back, white and trembling, and said, "Master, just now when I was in the market-place I was jostled by a woman in the crowd and when I turned I saw Death had jostled me. She looked at me and made a threatening gesture; now, lend me your horse, and I will ride away from this city and avoid my fate. I will go to Samarra and there Death will not find me". The merchant lent him his horse, and the servant mounted it, and he dug his spurs in its flanks and as fast as the horse could gallop he went. Then the merchant went down to the market-place and he saw me standing in the crowd and he came to me and said, "Why did you make a threatening gesture to my servant when you saw him this morning?" "That was not a threatening gesture," I said, "It was only a state of surprise. I was astonished to see him in Baghdad, for I had an appointment with him tonight in Samarra".

(A far older version forms part of the Babylonian Talmud)

Premium Member On a Transgender Child

A transgender child
does not not exist
just because a white man
says that that is so
as two spirited
third genders
and others
(eight in the Talmud! that I didn’t know)
exist around the globe
as in the
hijra of India
fa’afafine of Samoa
burrnesha of Albania
quariwarmi of Peru
guevedoche of Dominican Republic
muxe of Oaxaca
sekrata of Madagascar
fakaleiti of Tonga
lhamana of Zuni
winkte of Lakota
bakla of Philippines
acault of Burma
xanith of Oman
and waria of Indonesia
just to name a few

gender is as binary
as is the world is flat
asserting so otherwise
is simply spewing scat

Premium Member Love Your Friend

Love your friend* as yourself
  That is the whole Torah**
The rest is commentary
  How can that be?

We are commanded to love God too
with all our heart, soul, and might***
So how is just loving your friend
to Almighty God not a slight?

The answer, of course, lies in the verse --
Who is the friend you can count on
Through thick and thin, through bad and worse?
~ Why, that friend is God, foremost and first ****

_______________________________________
*Leviticus 19:18: 'Love your friend as yourself,'
The word ' your friend' (Hebrew, rey-eh'cha) is
often mistranslated into English as 'your neighbor.'
In Biblical and Talmudic Hebrew, 'rey'us' always
refers to friendship. 'Shakhen' is 'neighbor.'

**This is how the Sage Hillel responded to a
fellow who wanted to be taught the whole
Torah while standing on one leg. (See Talmud
Shabbos 31a).

***Deuteronomy 6:5

****See Proverbs 27:10: 'Do not forsake your
friend and your father's friend...' (Your father's
friend is God Himself -- Rashi's Commentary).

Times of Deception

that's the future age of the deceiver
peace on earth,hell in heaven
it's an ancient plan
jews betrayed their religion erased ALLAH'S words and rewrote the Torah and the talmud (win, win deciet)
christians betrayed their religion accepted the continuous hammering of the Bible from constantine the pagan to james the ***,
moslems betrayed their religion ALLAH saved his Qur'an so the tampered with the practice and accepted fake sayings on their prophets tongue and raised it above Qur'an
my dear fellow human don't denounce the sole creator for the betrayal of the creation
he offered free will and warnings
these are no different religions they are all one
spirituality is the essence but not in an illiterate manner searching mortals for immortality is as ugly as can be
religion is humanity at it's best
no fancy synagogues,churches,mosques
the whole earth is worship ground
peace upon all ,all includes who still doesn't believe
you can never offer religion at the tip of your sword

Lower East Side Evening

The sound of an ambulance
    in the distance
   Some poor soul is
in trouble
    A warm day has led
to a moderate August
  evening
I feel the tomorrow
   sill be a good day
  A friend invited me to
listen to a poetry CD tonight
I shall join him shortly
   Poetry can cut like
a knife into the soul
If you are willing to let it
 The city has is own
has its own type of poetry
Pictures of our
   urban life
Let us see the human face
behind the crowds and the tumult
This city is exciting and dangerous
Here on the Lower East Side
   we await fall
This area has been the home of
   the famous and the obscure
    Spanish people play dominoes
while Talmud scholars pour over
holy works in the House of sages
  Bicyclists ride by
as runners race by the East River

So you can see the history
of this essential New York neighborhood

Night

The periwinkle petals closed
As daylight turned to dark--
And nighttime fell like dampened silk,
To hush the meadowlark.

While the Talmud--and the holy words;
The violins, and song--
Fell silent in the midst of dark
Seeming out-of-place, or wrong.

And faith became a memory,
Like love's first gentle kiss--
The most dear of all possessions
Was the one most sorely missed.

For God had been the guiding light,
So the rituals, and wine--
But the Cantor was bereft of song...
T was the night of '39.

Blasphemy

God loves everybody NO DISCRIMINATION
INCLUDING Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered HUMANS
These people are SHUNNED
Told by DISCRIMINATING Bible dwellers
“You will NEVER see the gates of Heaven”
“Adam and Eve”
BLA BLA BLA
Some ARE born this way
What makes any natural LOVE for another HUMAN Evil??
Some lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people
Are persistent in their prayers and FIGHT so hard to be somebody they aren’t
There are sociopaths, manic-depressives, mentally handicap, DEAF people, BLIND people, DUMB people
All-of-the-above people
Are these HUMANS condemned at birth?
“Profess your love for the Lord Christ OUR Savior”
How will the special blind, deaf and dumb people EVER know the “Lord Christ OUR Savior”?
Oh, they die and go to Hell to find out?
Or will the “Lord Christ OUR Savior” give these HUMANS an exclusive chat?
WHY are they born with these ailments in the first place?
To FIGHT so hard to be UNnatural?
“Just pray”
“God knows your heart”
“Don’t doubt Him, just pray”
Why is God a Him?
Why do we place a gender on our God?
God is God
That is the only way to describe God
Some lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered HUMANS
Are DISGUSTED with themselves
Self-loathing and self-destructive
Because they are not accepted because of WHO THEY ARE
Some lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered HUMANS
FORCE themselves into an unhappy relationship
Or
FORCE themselves into seclusion
Unhappy or numb
BOTH very dangerous
Inconsiderate are those who SHUN other HUMANS
Pressing their beliefs as FACTS on another HUMAN
But these DISCRIMINATING HUMANS don’t base their beliefs on FACTS
Just on FAITH
“I have faith”
“The Bible is the word of God”
“But the Bible says –”
And the Qur’an says!
And the Torah says!
And the Talmud says!
Choose your OWN lives
Believe in WHATEVER it is that YOU choose to believe in
And stop DAMNING other HUMAN BEINGS!
Peace be with all animals, vegetation and HUMANS on Earth and in the Universe

Premium Member Do You Know Me

My friend, do you know me?
   I am a Pharisee
No, not per the dictionary
Which mischaracterizes my beliefs and me

For while he keeps the tradition, it's true
  A Pharisee's an ever-evolving Jew
He delves deep into the Talmud to learn the ways
to deal with the problems of the world today

Thanks to the Pharisees a Jewish-Israeli farmer
can halakhically* 'Sabbath-milk' a cow in its barn, or
devotedly observe Passover or Yom Kippur
be he in the jungle, outer space, or Kuala Lumpur

What's more, be it abortion, euthanasia or homosexuality
the Talmud treats current issues of controversiality --
A Pharisee views the times in light of the Talmud, you see
~ differentiating his faith from Hebraic-Christianity**

________________________________________________
* halakhically = in accordance with Jewish Law, in this case
                        the laws of the Sabbath
** Practitioners (for a few generations after Jesus Christ)
                        were known as Hebrew-Christians.

The new education system
In truth it’s meant to twist ‘em
Into something that
A child ain’t meant to be
It steals their precious playtime
Corrupts their daily timeline
It heralds a New World Order
Insidiously

It takes more, than just one man
In their evil global plan
To change the hearts
And minds of every nation
Go steal their freedom surely
Go get them nice and early
Warm their hearts with
Your home-grown indoctrination

Must we first lose our Jesus Christ
For to herald their new Zeitgeist
By the tearing down
Of each religious border
When the zeitgeist that is prevalent
Is intent on being malevolent
Then firstly friend
Comes chaos out of order

The church it changes readily
A Dove becomes a Vulture
A wolf within sheeps clothing
Finds an ease, in changing culture
Evolved from one-time pagan ways
Our celebrated Holy Days
Iniquitous intent
About to rupture

The Babylonian Talmud
Infused the Sons of Noah
In righteousness find wickedness
From the Qur’an to the Torah
Fraternities and brotherhoods
And secretive societies
Beheadings, drownings, trial by fire
Faiths forced, within their pieties

Gods world, bent to their intention
Bush, signs in Laws of Noahide
Martial Law on the horizon
Stones of Georgia, genocide
A New World Order looms
No empathy nor pathos
One World Religion emanates
An Order out of Chaos

And the Word Is:

A dream. To lie upon the moist ground.
And to feel. What planets feel.
A vision. I lie to everyone who speaks.
Just to know. What u must know.
She's got a fate that reminds her of a past that reminds me of everyday here without u.
This is all just heresy.
This is all just rhetoric.
An undue reference for the things we couldn't show.
A pregnant absence; for the things we will never be.
Every page of every bible, koran, talmud, library book, nursery rhyme, journal, autobiography, bedtime story.
Every pain, shock, flower, day, night, truth, lie, fairy tale and astrological chart.
All the rage, jealousy, bitter biting heart, cold and faith and fraudulent shadows baring down.
All the new ones and all the old ones, addictions and compulsions, obsessions and chaos.
I dream. I feel. I lie my back against the cold, moist earth.
And I feel. What u had to have felt.
In the last days. In your last dreams.
I place my hand against the empty, staring sky.

And I know.
If I push my little insignificant finger away from the star its holding onto
It will all be traced right back to u

Stelae 7:30 Am

True,
they have seen more
than their age.
But in the hazy,
half morning
field of “stelae”,
we, somnambulant
observers,
select our optimal view
between the pages of the Talmud.

Coded,
In the text of your staccato voice,
there is,
our consensual agreement of being.
It is not quite,
the signatured artefact
of strict adherence,
more the oral history
of a recent past.

And,
having recorded
our verse,
concrete and solid.
You have in your mind
the route of discussion.
It is the briefest of tours,
and talks of lives lived
preceding these recent events.

We return.
The streets now awash
with preparation,
I commit to memory the impression of you.
I am conscious.
Limbs that will soon ache with fatigue,
alight from metro and tram
and converge,
on a morning
that is already spent.

Samael's Visit

1.09.2008

Samael's* visit

"Please, do not scream",
He gently said
And pressed his hand
Upon my lips -
And I could sence
The bliss of death
Close by my searching
Fingertips
"Please, do not scream,
It's not your time,
So many more still yearn to die...
I just stopped by
To spread my wings -
To rest before -
Again
- I'll fly...

* In Jewish lore, Samael is said to be the Angel of Death, the chief ruler of the Fifth Heaven
and one of the seven regents of the world served by two million angels; he resides in the
Seventh Heaven. Yalkut I, 110 of the Talmud speaks of Samael as Esau's guardian angel. In
Sotah 10b, Samael is Edom's guardian angel, and in the Sayings of Rabbi Eliezer, he is
charged with being the one who tempted Eve, then seduced and impregnated her with Cain.

Blue Print

the blue print glows back at my sight

Premium Member The 'Mighty Maccabees'

A few hundred ragtag, rabbinic Maccabees
faced the might of Antiochus’ army
        60,000 fighting men strong

The Chanukah story we all know
The rabbis delivered Greece a knockout blow
Rededicated the Temple, and with a small cruise of oil
lit the lamps of the Menorah, eight nights in all

Yet in our prayers, not a single word about
the military prowess of the ‘Mighty Maccabees’
We thank God, and God alone, for routing Greece

Mattathias, the leader, and his sons,
        five indomitable priests
     we praise instead
~ but only for their spiritual feats

     ___________________________________________
The Talmud asks: 'What is Chanukah?' The above is
(a much-condensed version of) the answer it gives.
(Tractate 'Shabbos,' 21a - 23b)... Also found in the
'Abridged Book of Jewish Law, Laws of Chanukah,
     Solomon Gantzfried, (English version)

Israel the Myth

I'm Israel
for once I was real
now I'm nothing but a living hell
the ruthless child and his deceiving spell
once upon an Israel
now the eye in the capstone
wants your palestinian home
yet you can't escape my tribulation appeal
i disappeared leaving an ancient zest
I'm an internal quest
yet you battle for the impossible to manifest
you never listened ,you never believed
now rolling in my grave while you're being deceived
my destroyers were gutting the earth
eastern europeans to middle eastern Israelites giving birth
where else can you say shalom while stealing and destroying homes
hidden sigils ,books for crooks
conjuring and invoking
the hermaphrodite is giving my fake rebirth
ushering the two nations myth
while all serves the congregation
setting the promise land
but Him never built castles of sand
as you're all taking the stamp
wait for your fake black hoofed lamp.
