Best Take Heed Poems
If I leave before you do
These words you must try to heed
Remember them forever
So from your grief you will be freed
I know that you will miss me here
And life will not be the same
But "your "candle has not gone out like mine
It's just a flickering of your flame
Live life to its fullest
Don't let sadness anchor your heart
Be grateful for the time we had
Not our time apart
Find comfort in your memories
Of our amazing life together
I know we expected it never to end
And "we" would be forever
Our time has come for changes
Time to do it on your own
I know it will be difficult for you both
And you will feel alone
Please try and enjoy your life
Without me by your side
Enjoy all that life has to offer you
Don't let sadness keep you preoccupied
Life is way too precious
Not to enjoy each and everyday
Laugh ,have fun, be silly
Please don't waste your time away
I was loved so deeply
Loved by the best
Had my two special boys
My life was truly blessed
Take care of each other
My beautiful family
Rejoice and laugh together
About the nutty memories of me
Remember all the happiness we shared
The laughter and the love
Know we will be together again
Beyond the clouds above
LOVE YOU BOTH ETERNALLY ....
We cannot mimic the cry of a loon. Nor capture the light of the moon.
We'll never reach a distant star. Both too high and much too far.
Yet we search, both hither and yon, Seeking that magical bond.
Love is fragile all too often. It melts a heart and makes it soften.
There's no escape when we're caught in the trap set by the heart.
It doesn't matter who we are, when love becomes a tug of war.
There's no way of putting back, the yolk of an egg that's been cracked.
No band aid has ever healed a wound. It merely covers, but too soon,
The cut, shielded and protected, is exposed revealing it's been infected.
Toxins of the most poisonous kind take away joy and peace of mind.
It's sad, yes, but it's also true, knowing there's nothing more to do.
The road to love can be quite long, and longer yet when it goes wrong.
There are hazards, twists, and turns. Flaming words leave lasting burns.
Depressing are all these thoughts. Morbid ramblings of a wounded heart.
Time heals all wounds, so they say. It's true. Time took my pains away.
These next words I speak to you, Love:
Take heed to my words of scorn. Listen to me, Love, it's you I warn.
Don't bother trying to build a defense. For you there is no recompense.
No payment for the hurt you caused. And no compensation for your flaws.
Embittered and torn, I am no more. But don't knock again upon my door.
A gut full of grease is a glutton for greed
A swirling cesspool of sinful man's seed
These men of corruption, a pitiful breed
They trust their own hearts, which deceives them indeed
Prey for the fallen and wicked to feed
Who whisper with promise to fill man's each need
They scoff at God's promise, those depraved will not heed
They mock every word in God's Book when they read
Rejecters of Truth, in which mankind is preed
They have no fear of Christ, Who shall judge every deed
He Who gives man the breath for his life to proceed
He alone, in strict justice, shall perfectly meed
He Who casts into hell, by His Word, whence decreed
He Whose anger, and fury, and wrath shall exceed
All the strength of His creatures, who must there ever dreed
He Who mocks, in derision, all the damned as they plead
He Who laughs as they weep and they wail to be freed
He Who kindles the fire that shall burn every weed
Reprobate beings shall become as a glede
The bread of the leaven He shall thoroughly knead
He Who bled as they jeered shall then jeer as they bleed
When He smites with His iron they'll remember the reed
They'll remember His cup, that accursed Ganymede
He forsaken of God that the veil should be screed
He Who endured that redemption succeed
He Who for sinners was made sin, to accede
For sin, and the Devil, and death to impede
The powers of darkness were forced to recede
As did that legion of swine once stampede
When Jesus returns riding 'pon a white steed
Armies of angels and saints shall He lead
Open your ears and your eyes and take heed
Do not let your heart be a stone when you read
The Word became flesh, as the God-Head decreed
Son of God, Son of man, incorruptible Seed
A Savior for every sinner in need
Son of man, in the flesh, come to weep and to bleed
Son of God, Bread from heaven, to heal and to feed
Christ Jesus, the Son, that He might intercede
To reconcile God with the chosen to be freed
He Who the Son frees shall be free indeed
He drank, thirsting for her;
with stygian lips pressed to her neck,
She was exsanguinated.
The squalid night-beast, left her lifeless body,
behind an alley dumpster.
No moonlight betrayed the remnants,
of his latest meal.
Any slight remorse, that he felt,
was obliterated by the metal-sweet taste,
upon his vile tongue.
He was alive again and
there were more than enough prey,
to nourish him, for an eternity.
Aerial bound, for his charnel palace,
he would sleep like the god he fancied himself.
For eight-hundred years he had perfected his hunt.
His travels had taken him through the steeps and berms,
of antipodal continents and he had viewed
what most humans, could not.
The hellish beast loved the hunt,
as much as, his meals.
When prey inadvertently approached his abode,
it was left free;
he savored the taste of the chase,
as much as, the catch.
The elixir of life was ambrosia;
The likes of which, he’d not tasted in his mortality.
How he longed to thank the beast he’d once feared, for bestowing immortality upon him.
When the next gibbous moon took its flight,
the cravings awoke him.
Dressed in his finest, modern day attire
he set upon his task.
There’s a peculiar thing about Vampire,
they fancy themselves invincible.
Old vampires, like mortals, are often,
Over confident and become careless.
On his last hunt he lost his head,
to the single swipe,
of a large were-claw!
Pass your laws
do not work
live like us
No longer what I was a month ago, not attached to this earth.
Like a wounded eagle, I'm once more regaining strength... once again stretching my
mighty wings.
This lioness was once unaware of being caged; awakes and is now free. Hear me roar.
With one stroke of my claw I will clear my way and travel to where I want to be,
to where I must go.
Trust what I say to you, I cannot stray from my renewed journey.
How can I explain that which for the most part cannot be explained?
I am a receiver and hear a call which I know and will follow. My thirsty spirit will
be filled where my present journey will lead.
Sometimes I must simply be.
My means do justify a beautiful, explosive and productive end.
From my once weary soul, I now strive to reach my new dynamic strong self.

We must take courage to look at, can,
That dirge and the tragedy of Hiroshima,
To conclude and rationalise if we can,
That throbbing, deathly, vile panorama.
We did it, we conceived of it,
We intentioned that statement said,
So let that blood statement ourselves hit,
And blossom in purple and red.
He's rolling along the blacktop,
Rolling past Flora's crop,
Like a disinterested wind,
A Zephyr without a clue...
He doesn't stop to take notice,
It's just one foot before the next,
Placing his worn out size twelve
Atop a sweet daisy...
His touch is rough, and,
Better fit the for handling the
Painstaking labors of life
Than cultivating flowers in the garden,
Some men take pleasure in plucking lilies!
They are the farm hands who reap your fields!
Other men specialize in sowing seeds,
They are those who recognize the flowers' needs...
He's not so handsome as Narcissus,
But knows well, how to piss a goddess off!
He laid to waste and wilt many flowers
And soon gained the title of 'invasive weed'!
He has no place in the garden,
No knowledge of the flowers' anatomy,
His touch is too rough to the pedal
He can't keep his hand off the pistil
Pluck the weed
That cannot heed
The need of a flowering seed
Out of my garden she decreed
Don't be fooled by her innocent eyes
She's a devil in disguise
Weaving a web of falsehood and lies
There's evil hidden behind those innocent eyes
Don’t underestimate her power
There are thorns that hide beneath that flower
Loosen your guard and that will be the hour
You fall, fail, submit, and cower
Do not think her timid, do not think her shy
Beware, my friend, for she is sly
She has no friend, no ally
All pawns in her game, no matter how they deny
Do not let her cast her spell
Once under her control, you can never rebel
Once under her control, there you will forever dwell
She will give you horror, show you hell
Do not be seduced by her smile so sweet
Behind the mask lies deceit
Be discreet, or she will snare you, as you run, hide, retreat
Heed my warning, and my mistake don’t repeat
The truth is always bitter
I have never known
Its authenticity
Till now
When I learnt that...
...the past haunts...
I had it well covered
Or so it seems to me
But yet it leaked
Nay!
It burst...
...the past haunts...
A false fabric I clad
Deceit it was worsted in
Yet in it I rejoice
Till nemesis caught me...
...the past haunts...
Now...
Peace has deserted me
Fear is flourishing
War, I called
Inadvertently
When numerous souls
I robbed
Of their rights
Thinking it is sealed
Airtight!
But...
...the past haunts...
All gone
I alone
Peace out
Happiness far
War in
Sorrow is food
Sadness, water...
...the past haunts...
Pity me not
I worked hard for it
And it I earned.
My hand toiled for it
So I eat the fruits
Of my labour...
...the past haunts...
Hearken ye!
To the words of
One who all has seen.
Albeit
My words smelleth
In thine ears
But when thou reapsth
Thy fruit
Thou shalt remember my words
That....
...the past haunts...
In the delightful still of the cool evening air
Caution need be taken so please be prepared
Got a big axe to grind
Affects the weather at times
My image is lovable but take heed mon cher
melting permafrost
icebergs soon to disappear
canaries warn us
New Writers Take Heed
By Franklin Price
6/2/2015
New writers take heed
Of the words I write here
I'm not well known at all
Want to make that quite clear
These words of advice
May establish a link
Try them on for size
And see what you think
Write for yourself
Of what touches you
Feel what you write
It's what you should do
Humorous serious
Political droll
Write of your feelings
From deep in your soul
Put down your opinions
What you think about
Makes you laugh or cry
To be silent or shout
Be true to yourself
As you write along
If that's what you do
Then you'll never go wrong
In stygian depths,
a specter swims,
descendant of Great Cthulhu
and Leviathan.
For eight hundred years in
caverns deep, beneath
stygian black waters,
his cryogenic sleep’s,
disturbed by
fracked-cracks
in Gaia’s core.
now he rests in peace,
no more.
No ordinary Cthulhu
now is this,
no ordinary
demonic fish,
this diabolic fiend
is twisted from
spilled chemicals,
toxic rot,
unseen.
Venomous waste has
shaped his brain
and nuclear essence
his heart contains.
Where once Great Cthulhu
was frightening to see,
this descendant,
poison-minded, be.
Terror of sailor’s nightmares swims,
in salty waters, poisoned by men
who cared for only money, you see,
Descendant Cthulhu heartless be.
When putrid breath
and jagged teeth
caress the ships
that sail the seas,
the foulest stench
of stomach acids,
will digest men like,
melted plastic.
Oh men of tomorrow,
do take heed,
sew no more nuclear
or toxic seeds.
This last boat
to sail these seas,
our dead souls
now and forever plead!
Four wall's of Heartache
Four wall's of Hell
All expectation's die
In a cold prison cell
