Premium Member Geisha Grin

Green geisha grins
Charming the gentlemen
Eyes like chocolate pools
Drown in their sweetness
Their sweetness uniqueness
Able to sweep away grief
Smiling and styling
Dance romanced by
Graceful hands following
The glance of envy
Avoiding sin of selfish men
Entertaining in elegance
Geisha wrist gives a twist
Pouring hot tea delicately
With a sip from lotus lip
Chatter flatters intelligently
You will always wish
For a confetti kiss
Celebrated but not cheap
Not free.

*YOSHA AND KINTSUGI
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the Japanese vase, once whole, now cracked, a testament
to careless hands, a moment's rage—the shattering of our relationship.
we stare at the shards on the floor, their sharp edges glinting,
reflecting back the anger, fear, and broken trust.
do we clutch the fragments, nurse the wounds,
let resentment and bitterness bloom?
do we quickly sweep away the pieces,
pretending the argument never happened?
or do we gather, with trembling fingers,
the remnants of what was with a slow, deliberate grace?
the dust settled, and there it was~
unbidden, unwanted, perhaps—but undeniably present.
YOSHA…
...flickered in the lamplight~
an untranslatable grace, the space between exhale and release.
…a yielding, perhaps, a reluctant clemency offered
to one another, to oneself.
…not forgiveness, not yet, not quite~
but the letting go of the clenched fist, the unfurling of a tight bud.
KINTSUGI…
…binding together the shattered pieces of our relationship,
not with cold glue, but with lacquer of molten gold.
…gold seeping into our imperfections, brightens the jagged edges,
transforming our brokenness into a vessel of resilience.
…not perfection, but a tribute to the enduring power
of yosha, of mending, of becoming a masterpiece born of breakages.
yosha, kintsugi for the soul.
LOVE IS LIKE.........................
Love is like a pair of shoes!
Easy to abuse, or tossed in the trash when over used.
Love is like fire,
soon you'll get burn, or the flames will just simply turn off!
Love is like a car,
always finding ways to get it fixed, or searching for a better one!
Love is like a calendar,
changing days, weeks in 12 months, with resolutions never accomplished!
Love is like dirty laundry, you put it to the side!
Love is like a song, winds up all kinds of emotion before it ends!
Love is like a teacher, never appreciated!
Love is like dirt, easy to step on, or sweep away!
Love is like make up, easy to remove with tears!
Love is like a battery, draining all it's juice till it runs out!
Love is like a model, full of $h*t!
Love is like a Doctor, dumping hurting news with a cost!
Love is like a remote control, to many buttons to push!
Love is like the universe, confusing without knowing what's out there!
Love is like power, to hard to handle!
Love is like a fart, it really stinks!
Love is like a coloring book, scribbling pages to get it over with!
Love is like a flower, that will die eventually!
Love is like an egg, one way, or another it has to break or rot!
Love is like a shadow, it only happens with light!
Love is like a roach, waiting to get crushed!
Love is like a unicorn, does it even exist!
Love is like a heart beat, easy to stop!
The Doorkeeper
Out of opening doors
pours the past into a hallway
and You come to sweep away
times' trial.  You who gave me
another life to love before you took your own.
Now here You stand, a Being
in the hallway of my mind,
the ether of My Man.
Do you see us too?
Can you see how old I have become
and the fine man that is our son?
Out of other doors flung open
step those I used to try and forget.
They're best left in their closets, forgotten.
But You, oh You are springtimes' salty tears.
If I could bring the Light of Life back into you,
the door of my heart would open again.
Premium Member After the Interim
She met him in the interim,
 that space between endings and beginnings;
                                 a summer fling;
a sowing of her not so wild oats
          was all that it was meant to be.
But he was so much more.
She found herself languishing
 pool side on his patio
                  as long June afternoons
 dripped    like    molasses  into    nights.
Sometime in July,
her illusion that she’d had of independence
burst              like pyrotechnics in the sky.
And oh, those nights they imbibed!
Her nights with him   ran
                            like the blood-red wine
in the goblets
cupped
by the trembling hands   of two inebriates.
 But the stems of those goblets
 slipped quickly from their fingers,
and love’s elixir
spilled much too quickly
                              into tomorrow.
Along with the dry protracted days,
she - like desert grasses -
withered            as she waited.
 always thirsting for the nights!
But by the time August had arrived,
 she also had come to realize that,
 like the yellowed grasses,
she needed more than passion at dusk.
The nights, in fact,
had brought her
no less scorching    than the sun.
 And what she’d thought
was more than she could want
became              much less
than he could ever give.
Some essential thing was lacking,
some need deep inside her
not being fulfilled.
In those long afternoons
as she'd waited for him,
she'd come to realize what was missing.
By September - back in school -
she knew her ardor for him
had barely waned,
yet still. . .
she knew what she had to do.
And so, she looked to autumn's advent
for October's cooling winds
to sweep away
            the remnants
                     of ashes in her soul.
Prince Charming and the Mermaid
Pelting shapely pebbles into the lucid lake,
Lonely, among daffodils and golden mandrakes,
And rejoicing the dance of silver flakes,
A delicate penumbra catches his fancy great,
And in a sweep, away, his heart does take.
Ruthless in love and incredible in stake,
He dives deep down,
Into his own grave.
Knight In Shining Armour
Sweep away the past, and all
The times that brought you sorrow
Your future lies in us until
Tomorrow and tomorrow
Lock your nightmares up beyond
Some vast and solid door
I’m your knight in shining armour
And will be for evermore
Shut out your lifelong worries
All your troubles and your fears
Lay down with me my lady
I will kiss away your tears
Premium Member Give Me Wings
Give me wings so I can fly;
I want to soar with winging birds up high.
Give me wings so I’ll be free;
my soul longs, to soar with my body.
Give me wings and I will soar,
through universes where, I’ve not been before.
Give me wings to share the air;
to revel with feathered siblings there.
Give me wings of cotton fluff;
feathers light, the air will brush.
Give me wings to lift my spirit;
I cannot stay entrapped and disparate.
Give me wings to spread diversity;
to brush it into every crack and crevice, purposefully.
Give me wings to sweep away the darkness;
and I’ll wing the world to alertness.
Give me wings to release love’s elation;
I will spread it across every nation.
Just for one day...please give me...wings.
??Malachi? ?4:5?-?6? ?NIV??
[5] “See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. [6] He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.”
John the Baptist how you prepared the way
For the Lord to come fulfill the only way
Giving up His life as a ransom
In love that we might return to God
Given access to a pure heart and mind
That we could come to love all.
That seek you Lord, united in Children of God
In rememberence of  who is my mother and brother.
Those who seek the true living God
And, everyone in knowing what all could become
Just in the twinkle of a eye ,
The blast of a wind to sweep away old man.
Oh, Lord how you knew we did not love you
But you loved us that we might receive
The inheritance of the living will
Brought to life by your death and resurrection
That we might die to this world only by your spirit
To resurrect this new spiritual living body
Then we shall know Lord, you are in the Father
And the Father is in you, to give God all glory
That through the Holy Spirit we come in unity
In seeing all different races have become
The Chosen people of God in your majestic ways
For many are called but few responses
??John? ?11:50? ?NIV??
[50] You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish.”
Bugs and Hugs
Dare to smile for a while, care to laugh
Sweep away gloom, keep enough room
Wake up hope, break down sadness enough
When souls cry for a joy broom.
Dare to love, care to play
Sweep away darkness, keep enough light
Wake up friendship, break up a delay
When a heart longs for a share of delight.
Dare to encourage, care to pray
Sweep away losses, keep winning
Wake up consciences, break up a despair display
When hatred begins threatening.
Dare to save souls, care to hug
Sweep away exploitation, keep up inspiration
Wake up devotion, break a poison mug
When folks boost molestation and separation.
Premium Member The Waters Way
From glacial mountain tops and peaks
Sunlight wakes me from my sleep
No way of telling how long I slept
Or way of knowing what time is left
Gravity takes me where I go
Often times it’s just the flow
Downward till death lets me go
Ever traveling I do not know
Waters they go where the force is leading
The shallows and the deeps competing
The secrets and gold I hide
I feed and carry sources of life
Flooding a place where stops my aim
My being is both loss and gain
And often called god or goddess
Drying unto death stops my progress
I sometimes quench the dying thirst
Or being too much I slowly curse
Dissolving structures when floods take hold
Sweep away foundations the new and old
Feed the flocks that feed a nation
Filling the swamps or leaving hydration
Douse the fires that would destroy
Bathe the unclean that would annoy
Joining the ocean the ultimate goal
No more am I when salt takes hold
From there rebirth gives me meaning
Over and over always repeating
November 4th 2008
The people cast their ballots;
And hopes are very high;
But the looks upon the Christian man;
Shows some worry in their eyes.
 The donkey has majority.
 And hopes to bring the fame
But the skeptics look to clouds above;
For fear there could be rain.
At the wheel of colors;
The paint won’t match the blotch
And the ones who paint the pictures;
They can only paint a splotch.
 The wife is picking curtains;
And the man is on the phone.
The kids want decorations;
And they’ll never be alone.
Some people are ecstatic;
Some are now in fear.
Many never will accept;
The time for change is here.
Sing a song of good times;
We’re not on our own;
Sweep away decaying leaves;
Up ahead is home.
 Up ahead is home Lord;
 Can the time be near?
 Will the rider on his painted horse;
 Bring with him what some fear?
Premium Member Golden Shovels
Each of them had one
A golden shovel
To sweep away the detritus
Of life’s lingering keepsakes
Scratching the gold-plated spears
Dodging deaths deadline
Struggling to be remembered
Ecologically egotistical entrepreneurs
Pictures, suitable for framing
Polished, souvenir hard hats
Sign waving sycophants
Applauding the arrogance
Of progressive platitudes.
An old woman weeps
The shadow of her home gone
The echoes of her life fading
A Teddy bear lays crushed
Beneath an unseen future.
Premium Member - Demons In Chains -
The eyes with chains around the feet,
they can never see the beauty
Beyond the sounds, colors and smell
you get sucked up by the darkness
Sweep away dust and rat feces
the shadows of evil demons
The rainbow is a miracle,
next moment will never come back
Please give life back to these dark eyes
Escape from your inconstant mind
I swear: even the weeds will shine
This song will blow away with time
Premium Member Braving the Wild Waves
“Life is like a ship tossed on the wide sea
to journey amidst sunshine and wild waves”.- by author.
                                         Braving the Wild Waves
                      When wild winter winds bend down mighty trees
                          And drive many souls to knell on their knees
                        When flash floods sweep away all on their way
                              And make many men their pitiless prey,
                        When stormy gales hurl one`s ship on the reefs
                             And the crew is immersed in seas of grief
                            When ahead lies the mouth of a steep cliff
                          That sounds like the resting place of a grave
                         Do we yield to scare or brave the wild waves?
