Racism Is Your Problem

Some people think what we have is still taboo,
And it's obvious when we enter a room.
       A few eyes seem to watch our every move;
But that makes me pull closer to you and appreciate your value.
       They're unaware the stares can't shake nor break what we have,
We just shake off the dirty looks and laugh.

       The ignorance of some people say white, black, Latino's don't mix.
I say that's something this country needs to work on and fix.
       I've wondered why society stereo-types by race.
People don't lack human emotion despite the color of their face.
       A shame we are unable to see, that all are one in the same.
Yet as a nation we prejudge the individual without knowing their name!

       This is a new day, a new era.
And yes Sara, I would follow you to the back of the bus.
       I would give up my seat to you just because.
If you could not eat in that restaurant, then neither would I!
       I would fight for your civil rights, do or die!
That is the depth of our love.
       Who cares if others find it "unheard of."
There would be no stopping you and me.
       We would walk hand in hand down any street in Mississippi!

November 4th 2008

The people cast their ballots;
And hopes are very high;
But the looks upon the Christian man;
Shows some worry in their eyes.

 The donkey has majority.
 And hopes to bring the fame
But the skeptics look to clouds above;
For fear there could be rain.

At the wheel of colors;
The paint won’t match the blotch
And the ones who paint the pictures;
They can only paint a splotch.

 The wife is picking curtains;
And the man is on the phone.
The kids want decorations;
And they’ll never be alone.

Some people are ecstatic;
Some are now in fear.
Many never will accept;
The time for change is here.

Sing a song of good times;
We’re not on our own;
Sweep away decaying leaves;
Up ahead is home.

 Up ahead is home Lord;
 Can the time be near?
 Will the rider on his painted horse;
 Bring with him what some fear?

The world trade towers,
The pentagon and the white house.
Attack THEM, they are evil.
The government that protects the oil corps.
The American Government uses its military to steal oil.
Socialize the losses and privatize the profits.
Stupid, confused, Americans.
Israel is an American military base
1948,
Control the oil, control the future.
Truman, cemented America as a superpower.
Israel: Expanding settlements, stealing land.
In trade for keeping the oil in the hands of corps.
Oil traded in dollars: no Euros allowed,,,
Or we beat the war drums, evoke fear.
America and its Zionist military base.
Topple democracies, replace them with dictators,
No taxing the rich to feed the people in the middle east.
Socialism is evil.
We worship greed, AKA: Capitalism
The people want to tax the oil companies and get a check,
The way they do in Alaska
Sarah Palin, The American socialist, who is too ignorant to know it.
If this is not the history you know…
Either I am ignorant or you are….
Oh, my voice is like nails on chalkboard, it cant be true can it?
My propaganda of anti-Americanism
I love this country, my friends and enemies tell me to leave it,
But this is my country and I am here to change it.
I will go down with my ship

We Will Not Be Quiet

They want the people to go away
To keep quiet
shhhh…. don’t say a word.
But…we’re not!
We the people elected them!
Why should we stay quiet?
This is our country!
We are the people!
We are the voters!
We own this country…not the elected officials!
So..why should we be quiet?
Why should we go away!
Who in the hell are those elected officials anyway!
Get out! Get out of my government! I don’t want you anymore!
“….when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same
object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it
is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their
future security.” [Declaration of Independence]

Written in response to the assertion by some officials in Washington and the media
that the citizens calling themselves Tea Partiers were a bunch of political radicals
and crackpots.

Political Bondage

To be free of the people who tie and bind.
Leave all those who doubt me there;
All the people who daudle fall behind…

Their ignorance and stupidity blind
And all the weak willed individuals should beware.
To be free of the people who tie and bind.

The tyrants rule and control they’re fragile minds.
 In filth the common live and are completely unaware;
All the people who dautle fall behind…

Like an obedient dog locked up and confined.
They do as they’re told with vacant stare.
To be free of the people who tie and bind.

Personality and uniqueness began to unwind.
The people know of no place better out there;
All the people who daudle fall behind…

They stand uniform and walk in steps and in a line.
One person whispers an unheard prayer…
To be free of the people who tie and bind.
All the people who daudle fall behind…

What Is Left

The people of government take their living,
From the majority of us who keep on giving.
They are paid very well to spew rhetoric,
As they argue in the commons and make us sick.

They take with their hands, grasping with greed,
To fill their pockets with unending need.
All that has reason, all that is right,
Is not to be gotten without a great fight.

They award a yearly pay increase of ten percent,
While people on pensions get one percent.
We all need to eat, we all feel the pain,
Of the high cost of living that goes against the grain.

Their right to free lunches is the right of a thief,
For our rights are nil which gives no relief.
Shall we buy gas for the car, pay rent or eat,
Or pay taxes or phone, is the list complete?

Government and big business are partners concealed,
But their perverse secrets are now being revealed.
While those in the prisons have every need met,
Having TVs, and phones and learning, they're set.

The things they are doing are a sad disgrace,
And we have to run to keep up with the pace.
The law that matters has been put out of the game,
For the law that matters is the commandments by name.

If these were in place, I'm sure it would be true,
That lawyers and politicians would be feeling so blue.
The unfairness in life we need to contemplate,
Before the winds of change keep their date.

When the game is all over and all the cards fold,
There will be many who need to get out of the cold.
For all will be changed, all shall be made right,
When the deeds of the greedy are brought to the light.

There Is An Anger In This Land

There is an anger in this land
One that is not to hard to understand.
It comes from a lack of trust
Of those we elected to represent us.

This nation was created as one under God
It was built by workers of the sod,
People from all walks and faiths of life
Coming to a land free of strife.

From the humble beginnings of an early time
When a people who came with a yearning to be free
Throwing off the shackles of tyranny
Established a government elected to represent the many.

As time went on the government grew
Until it reached the point where it was run by a few.
Lost in time was the point of view
That the government is designed to keep the people free.

Full circle we are coming in this land that was free
To once more subjected to a form of tyranny.
Now that banner our forebears flew
Is again unfurled with its message for all to see:
“Don’t tread on me”.

Ancestor's Prize

One day my eyes were filled
Why people are not mild
How trust could be now build
Can you in society be chilled
See relations are been now killed
One day my eyes were filled

All having dreadful eyes
And thinking themselves wise
Making their weapons rise
Is that our ancestor's prize
All are being fake but nice
Hey its a political dise

They don't get themselves guide
Oh its a topic wide
We don't see for a bide
Just make our crime to hide
And take a good dream ride

Leaders are at wrong side
They haven't gone through good cites
How could they then lit lights
If they 'ill be in money fights
What can we do to reach heights
This thought made people fright

Is government going to take their bites
Don't take all this so lite
And make your heart pure and tight
Just fight for your aim's flight
And make your country's kite ,
To fly up in bright lights

Let youth now led the car
To make our futures better far
And make this world free of wars

Serenity Instead of Chaos

America is under attack
We might lose our right to bear arms
Socialism is hovering on our backs
And the government now owns our cars

Our healthcare might be nationalized
Just like Canada
But what people don’t realize
This isn’t the answer for America

Too much talk about stimulus
Our banks are in trouble
Spending by our government
Is making us see double

Our founding fathers would be so ashamed
If they knew how things turned out
There are too many people we could blame
Things need to “change” without a doubt

Americans need to speak up
About things that they don’t like
This country needs to shape up
We all just need to unite

Serenity instead of chaos
Is what America needs
So many think this country owes us
But all we are owed is the pursuit of happiness, life and liberty.

Wrath of President Obama

We have come to a cross roads in this country,
where some folks truly believe
they don't have to listen to a Zebra,
Minorities get no respect in America!
Citizens are sinking to an all time low,
because they have grown weary of
the Political Show,
Republicans and Democrats have both
left messes,
Yet, somehow ordinary people are dealing
with the stresses of a torn goverment,
Advantages are being taken that are inconceivable,
because minorities are thought of as not being
commanding people,
Businesses think they can treat consumers
shabbily because there is only a minority at the
helm,
For all intense purposes,
Minorities are perceived as goofing off on the job,
The wrath of Obama should be unleashed on these
simple sods,
America is still Red, White and Blue,
Minorities should be treated like their
counterparts,
It will never become a white/black or minority
thing, if people act from their hearts.

Different Point of Views

Every day, people each have their own different point of views. These points are either
good, bad, or in-between. And for when he or she gets him/herself in a compromising
situation, that's so bad. It seems that when most people cannot agree on almost
everything, they can talk about it. When it comes to males and females really need to see
their point of views in life, they should just stick with them. There's a lot of things
these people really want to talk about: religions (Muslim, Christian, Catholic, etc.),
politics, favorite types of music, nationality, almost everything. And if these people
want to talk about supporting gay rights and immigration rights, then that's on them.
Everybody knows that their opinions should count, even if they're just different from
other opinions. It looks like that the entire nation is trying to express their real point
of views. If these people each have different point of views and values and that kind of
stuff, then I guess I have my point of views, too. There's just different ways for all of
us, as equals, to express ourselves, especially when we're trying to say what's really on
our minds. We have different point of views, we're entitled to our opinions, and that's
just the way the whole system goes. everybody will have also thought about what these
so-called "Nay-Sayers" were going to do like shutting the mouths of the whole entire
nation up, covering up their lies, and trying to take control of almost everything, but
it's completely typical of these lying has-beens. If everybody's entitled to their
opinions and want to give out their extreme point of views, let them do so. And if these
so-called "Nay-Sayers" each have a problem with the way we talk, the way we act, the way
we dress, or whatever, that's their problem; not ours. I wish that everybody had their own
point of views and were entitled to their opinions.

Darfur, Sudan

Desert sand, tan and wind rippled
Dry, desolate, drifting-dieties'
canvas evolving, serenity garden

Strife and soldiers, guerilla warfare
South of Egypt, West of the Red Sea
Land Cursed by God for whorng against
God with other gods. Descendants still
pay the sin price today.

Confussion, hate consumed
Evil conduct, evil rulers
Abuse and cripple the refugees

Mercy on the children, Succor
their hunger and thirst
Give the weak, strength and compassion
Deliver the wicked to your justice, Lord.

I read about this region today and descided to write a poem, the people are being abused
and raped. Pray for this people and area. this is north Africa.

Politics For Better Or Words (The Narrative Version)

Politics for Better or Words
(The Narrative Version)

Politics, by nature, nurtures pathological indecisiveness.
Self-appointed officials, being of a transitory nature,
Lavish themselves with costly entertainments, privileges, and travel expenses.
Convenient loss of memory of the events of specific periods comes in handy.
He who invents fables may succeed in dividing electoral districts.
For his own gain, of course, would be typical of a scheming, corrupt politician.
One who is impelled to carry out an idea and conduct public business for private gain.
Government by the worst, one might say, by those eager for selfish gain.
Corruption in a government based on rules of law.
Yet, some leaders seek to alter the law by passing a new law.
All too often, though, it seems to be government based on the newspaper.
For a period of four years, we listen to politicians tell anecdote after anecdote to justify lost
freedoms under the name of NATIONAL SECURITY.
And that, of course, costs money. Thus, more taxes.
And on that matter, there is no agreement among the politicians.
Opinions fluctuate and the people are promised miracle after miracle
Promises needed to hold the nation together during hard times.
After 9-11, leaders with quick agility made preparations for war.
Now, people question whether the war is against terror OR for monetary gain via oil.

Demo

A wind of change is blowing
Oh, a beautiful wind of change is blowing north of the Sahara

At last the people have woken
Oh, at last the people want back what was stolen

The thieves are terrified
Oh, they who stole from the people with one hand
	...and covered their mouths with the other in laughter
		Oooo, they are now so terrified they don’t know where to hide

The world has at last become small
Oh, so a village is all it was
	A sister’s cry on the other end
		Summons a brother’s help from the other end
			All thanks to the efficiency of the internet

Oh, how glad I am to have lived to see
Never had I dreamt democracy would come to the East
	Now daily on my television screen I see
		Brick after brick, they plaster hope with democracy
	How I pray that when the masons are done
They’d come down South to these parts of the land

This Time You Loose

you power mongers
the decay of our society
shame in the company of our fallen heroes
we work hard
and you plunder the fruits of our labor
it's been more than 48 years
since our land was declared free
but my people see no change
the nation is still in the dark
electricity,water,better infrastructure
are a luxury

i say no!!
this time you get no vote
me and my family and friends
will stand up to you
we'll take up to the streets
overthrow you without guns and artillery
cuz my people are peaceful.
