Best Strong Belief Poems

Adam of Love and Faith

Adam of Love
barely knew what to put
in black and white
with the Light in his heart
the dark able to look through.
A man of wealth
warmth and tenderness
the precious kernels of his soul.
A smile grew from his ribs
revealing inner rarity and creed.
Nature, his ancestors and his
in nature my Adam
so loving, so caring, so sweet.
Adam of Faith
in his prayers, Allah he never failed
imbued with a stainless strong belief.
Words of God dwell in his feelings
many a time overflowed into tears
reaching out for his deeds.
Adam of my heart
ever my words would me betray
to draw and paint your portrait
magic colours yet didn’t find their way
to meet your beauty
Dad, apple of my soul.

Thank You

Thank you
How I keep saying
Deep gratitude showing
Generosity, kindness, beauty
The wonder and joy of giving..

What would I consider or measure
The value of what is received, the feeling of pleasure
Unable to weigh or count
What is given, a flowing fount..

Thank you
A word too much used and said
Nothing equal back could be paid
Just the sweet taste in hearts we pass to mankind
And a legacy for Humanity of being good and kind..

Thank you
How I keep believing
In words converted to true feeling
In genuine souls to my worries kindly listening
My pain enduringly wiping..

Thank you
One of God’s many a blessing
The gift of gratitude for which I keep praying
Recognition I keep showing
To those who paved the way for the grace of living
To all those who filled my whole with smiles
And my dark chambers with light
So as I could reach the warmth of Hope and Faith inside..

Thank you
Over and over I would say
To people of God
And to the Almighty I would pray
As I recall more than one sign and call
Nothing should be in life for granted taken
To meet life twists, the heart toughen..

Thank you
So much in life I owe
To who caringly appeased my fear
Patiently lent an attentive ear
Lovingly brightened a gloomy atmosphere
Humanely bore my weakness and what I shed of tear..

Thank you
Of what life brings am in awe
Despite my perception of its limitation and flaw
Tolerance and acceptance I keep fostering
Allow peace and bliss my inner self illuminating
And only the wonders of good in Humanity I keep seeing
With a strong belief in sharing, caring and giving..

Thank You

Premium Member Roses and Butterflies

Because I want to, I conjure up
A gazillion of roses and butterflies
(From the tips of my fingers, the tears in my eyes
The love in my heart, the strong belief in magic)
Exploding all around us, and covering us while I say:
“For you, for me, for us all.”
The most beautiful of colours where
We never even dreamed of or longed for
Because we couldn’t believe
We deserved it
We deserve it.

Living and Leaving a Legacy

what will you be remembered for when you have passed away?
what do you think most people will probably have to say?
what things would you like to be most memorialized about?
what things about you would your friends and family shout out?
what have you accomplished in life? what good works and deeds have you done?
where you a devoted servant of God or a disobedient one?
what significant mark on this world do you hope to leave?
will there be anyone around who for you will mourn or grieve?
will you have touched any souls or enriched any minds?
what type of lasting and living legacy will you leave behind?
when it comes time to take that final ride in that black stretch limo
what of your life's accomplishments will you want people to know?
for as naked as the day that you first appeared on this earth
what bare facts do you wish people would remember about you first?

a lasting and living legacy, your entry in the book of eternal life
will it be a legacy as a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ
to have been a member of the family of the Most Holy Lord
to have been one who was called to come and get aboard
for you can't bargain, you can't scheme and to Him you cannot bribe
to have a place in God's heart where only truth and goodness reside
so as you travel your life's journey keep God always on your mind
don't sweat the small stuff not buy into the devil's lies

now turn to your sons, to your daughters, nieces and nephews
the future generation you need to reach out to
the children, the continuous legacy of our very lives
our children, the next generation of servants for Jesus Christ
introduce them to the Lord and leave a faith in them so strong
show them that your life was a living testimony to the Kingdom of which you belonged
let the children know that God has given them love, power and self-discipline
show them that there's nothing to fear but fear in the end
help them discover the gift to them that God did give
their true purpose, passion and destiny for which they should live
tell them that this faith has always been in your family
the inheritance of belief a lasting and living legacy
pass the baton of faith so your memory will keep on living
fan the flame of faith that which to you God has given
a strong belief system that you will pass on down the line
by living and leaving a legacy that will be remembered for all time

The Power of Faith

The power of faith will help you through,
at times in your life, your not sure what to do.

Faith is one thing that I do believe,
it has gotten me this far and helped me achieve.

I believe in faith,it means strong belief or trust,
even if I don't believe,I think sometimes I must.

The power of faith is strong,
all you have to do is ask.

Nine Virtues

Sailing in their long ships with a dragon head on the bow
Vikings were a hardy people from a land of ice and snow

Known for their adventures far wide and across many seas
Bringing culture and beliefs, sailing from 950-1050 A.D.

Traders who settled, leaving their Danish homeland
Looking for a heaven found by the name of Vineland

In their Gods was a strong belief, by Odin they were lead
Blazing by the virtues of nine in their stead

TRUTH was a belief held in high regard, from deep within
In the sense of honesty- essential for kith and kin

Ruled by HONOR- morality more than reputation
Without regret these Vikings lived, no hesitation

Following in the ways of Frey, FIDELITY to the Gods
To their family and clan, they lived without facade

DISCIPLINE is the action to all beliefs they held fast
Personal will - their conquests to lands unsurpassed

The civilization practiced HOSPITALITY to unselfish ends
Never knew when on a cold night, one might need friends

INDUSTRIOUSNESS made the Vikings active with vitality
Living each day to it's fullest, abundant morality

The clan could not survive without SELF RELIANCE
To do for one, is to do for all- tribe alliance

COURAGE and bravery to face life's struggles and PERSEVERE
Foraging upon strange lands and taming the new frontier.

Premium Member See Spot Run

See Spot Run..
This icon of our education
yes..of youth..but continuing..
The question might be asked:
Was our education ever other
than variations of Spot running..?
Sophistication arrived but
the strong belief of separation:
Spot..and Dick..and Jane
remains.. seemingly implanted
unquestioned and permanently
in what we call our world..
Through the years
some have found discomfort
a hole at the center of
Spot's adventures..
A vague unsettling
blossoming on some days
to sharp fragmentary pain..
In our many searchings
for restoration and fulfillment
might we in some momentary
clarity..see Spot not running
but dissolving into
the light of day...

The Greatest Contradiction of Our Epoch

He said, dismantling of USSR was the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of century,
I said it was been the greatest breakthrough of our age and hope for the best future.
We have been so quite disagree but he was a very influential national lieder,
the creator of world empire from nursing billionaires-oligarches
and European ex-presidents retrogrades and trytors
on his service,
I have been just a poet with the best and honest vision
and strong belief and respect for West democracy and advanced society
and Magna Carta.

If These Walls Could Talk

Imagine…
You’re inside
An enclosed room
Wall to wall
You find yourself
In deep predicament
Suddenly…it talk
“You are great!”
“You shall surpass
And, you shall live
Beyond your expectation!”
How come?!
“But your faith
Is the truth
Forget your reservations
No, never waver
More than ever
Thank HIM
For every breath
For love, life and strong belief!”

Premium Member Nora's War

A good, strong man she found, but prior grief
consumed her soul, and Nora could not stay.
Pretending her own death, she was a thief
who stole his heart and then ran far away.
Years passed. He looked for her with strong belief
she had not died. How happy was the day
he found her, for her healing had begun,
and Nora’s war with sorrow now was won!

Haunted

His agonized inhabited mind haunted
by peaceless imaginative thought,
extremely distressed, his spirit daunted
with severe revelations of supernatural
phenomenon, so distorted caricatural
features indescribable by the untaught,

exorcism perceived as emotional relief
for his tormented mind created by him,
comforted by his faith and strong belief
miraculous event now urgently desired
penance to alleviate his guilt required,
tormented by ghostly sight of his victim.

The Parking Lot Duck-Head-Another True Tom Tale

I live in a trailer park in upstate N.Y.
proud, dumb white trailer trash I is
don't really know well my neighbors
to me that is just as well
you'll understand far better when
you hear the tale I'll tell

across from my small single trailer
looms a large expensive double
but the weird guy living there
seems potential trouble

he has this most odd fetish
this obsession I find odd
he seems very territorial
like his brain was made of sod

he has, in front of his homesite
5 marked parking spaces you see
he has but one little car
and never has any company

he posted a big sign, "No Parking!!"
that's just what it did say
but weirder by far I tell you
and this I can't figure out to this day
he parks his little car,
in an angle so oblique
so he covers at least 3 spots
now I know just what it seems he does really seek
and it's so dumb I laughed so hard, I grew weak
he's "protecting" his useless ground
which he doesn't own at all
it kind'a makes me laugh
at such moronic gall

he's very like a dog
so I wonder if he might
urinate around these spots
perhaps in the middle of the night
the thought, oh my!, that'd be a scary sight!
"marking his territory"
that's really public space
to me he seems buffoonish
a disgrace to the human race

I watch him through my window
sometimes when he comes out
this little round weasel clown-man
makes you want to shout
"hey, duck-head! why not a barricade?
and keep out even more?
and maybe provide you with some shade?
or maybe a fence and toll booth
and armed guards to keep away
those who are a parking space thief?
and think just how it would provide you
with much, much more relief?
"cause you worry someone will park
in one of "your spots"
I guess this fear is your strong belief.

Premium Member Be Mine

It is Valentine's day and I find myself brooding
as I sift through thoughts both perpetual and
 disquieting;
I watch the crowds as they piously enter the card
shop for that sanctimonious day of love and passion
What do I know about love and the hunger games?
Life has sent me a series of boyfriends that go
swifter then they come. Leaving me in transient
 motion and rocking frame.
No, I have no reverence for that clamorous day
of cards, blue mascara and silk slips that throne the
bedroom with sensuous hips that swing in fervidness
 and lust;
I refuse to be his middle pass. Lost in a disquietude of
feverish resentment I cling to the fantasy of saving
grace and heroes of the past that show amorousness
 not with fired loins but through chivalry & courtesy;
 Yes, I thirst for the good old days of longitude and time;
The vehemence of my strong belief originates from past
 histories that repeat without empathy and give;
No effervescence of full boy will ever claim my heart
 except the love of a true one nothing else will do;

In this day and age of texting and sexting, glass tap
messages pale in my arena of love. I'd rather live in a
castle of fairy tales, then in a world of veneration to
to the holy bod and boob.
So on this Valentine day I will part the valance of doubt
and hope that I can find someone who can truly be mine.
