Gold Fever

Gold Fever

History will not record the bloated weight
Of this pious and bigoted race
Or count the fat and flaccid wealth
Of religions idolatry

Those pages have been scrubbed clean
By prosperous forgivingness
And the cruelty of established political dominion
Will not tally the bodies of the oppressed

To them, faith and belief are merely a weapon
A system of abusive control
And a means of power continuation
A dictatorial right to rule the population

History will not record the inheritance of opinion
But lay blind at the doors of massacre
The Aztec, The Aborigine, The North American Indian, The African *****,
Pray in silence to The Church

Centuries written in blood and torture
For a message of verbiage and usage
Extracted and leeched from the poor and uneducated
Created the western dream

The long night of the witch hunt is not over
The Inquisition has saved us
With fake blood and wooden crosses
This elite of moral perspective shall save us all

We have paid the price in conscience
Superiority managed by white skinned indifference
Holy mother church has welcomed all
All into its iron embrace of slack jawed wonder

And what more despicable rule can there be
Than to dictate ones own spiritual journey
Spouted by the rote of political expediency
And the promise of heaven

Ingrained now this so called Christian ethic
And so much of the truth left distorted
Forgotten now are the ancient mystical secrets
Which united mankind to understanding

Idol of gold and crucifixion
Of cathedral and stained glass objectification
Gilt and holy water of sumptuous ritual
Of silken pope and luxurious self righteous invention

An aberration of human faith and belief
An unrepentant destroyer of “ Loves ” dream
The curse of The Christ as you continue to translate
The Word

And where the paupers fist crunches the dirt
Where dried and parched lips pray for rain
Where the desperate cry for a reason echoes
Where blood flows in feted anger
Where children scream in fear
Where hunger and despair debase and demean
Where there is no light
And in the dark only pain

If you wish to care for the souls of mankind
Preacher
It is there with them
There
Is where you should be

Premium Member Blind Faith (Limeric)

Faith is like radar that sees through the fog
When faith is forced by reason agog
When it becomes blind it dies
It is like a bird that feels
Light in dark dawn still defog.

In faith there is enough light
For those who want to believe it
But for those who don’t believe
Enough shadows to blind the eye
I for one like the colour of the Dwait.

Dwait (In Hindu mythology) means you can reach God thro’ a Guru (Master). Master can be
anyone in your life, but generally it is the mother.

Within my soul the darkest of places
Locked up inside of these tiny places

Sitting on the toilet to eat at the table
Another animal sitting in his stable

Years away from being set free
All I have left is my pen and me

With pen in hand I start to write
Can a convict change his plight?

I shall become, “The mustard seed”
Can my faith become all I need?

I write of joy as well as love
From my cell I become a dove

Though my cell is cold and gray
Through my pen I shall sail away

Across skies clear and blue
I’m as free as any of you

Freedom is a frame of mind
Through my faith I am blind

Through blind eyes I can see
Accepting Christ has set me free

I missed the contest but that
doesn't matter. The message
is the same. Blind faith is a
wonderful gift I received in
the darkest of places. Since
that day my life has never
been the same. I ride my
faith like a surfer rides a
wave. God Bless, mj

The Power of Faith

The power of faith will help you through,
at times in your life, your not sure what to do.

Faith is one thing that I do believe,
it has gotten me this far and helped me achieve.

I believe in faith,it means strong belief or trust,
even if I don't believe,I think sometimes I must.

The power of faith is strong,
all you have to do is ask.

Walk By Faith

Straight outta the darkness and into the light
Believing in my masters might
I just stand still...for me He fights...
WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT

My hard heart beats and bleeds for those bad beasts...beating like a drum for the
last,the lost,and the least
He's taken death's sting and given us life...
WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT

From the serpents in the sand to the eagles in the sky
For the lions in the jungle, full of prejudice and pride
To the lambs on the road, taking Gods righteous ride...
WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT

In ghetto garbage dumps where His faithful find gold mines
Killer kings now showing kindness as they dream of the divine
New doors open wide and some of the wicked come inside...
WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT

From the pulpit to the pews
From the many to the few
The good, bad, and ugly...In Gods shadow they unite
In the darkest devil day into that nightmare night...
WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT

Walkin by faith and never by sight...trading the sad and the sadistic for the
supernatural and sublime
Swamps of sin and sewage turn into living water and holy wine
From the cradle to the casket
From conception until my last rites
No fear or frustration
No fright...
WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT

The Gift of Faith

People ask, “Do you have faith?”
Well, do you?
How do you know?
Do you even know the meaning of faith?

Can you comprehend “obligation?”
Do you understand “loyalty and fidelity”
to a person, promise, engagement, or a diety?
Can you accept the observance of your obligations,
the fidelity to your promises, oaths, and allegiances?
If so, your are blessed with faith.
If not, you are hopelessly devoid of faith’s essence.

The value of faith cannot be measured.
It is more precious then any commodity
and cannot be bought nor sold.
If you lack it, faith is only
accessible through prayer.
No one is worthy of faith
and faith is never based on proof.

Faith is a heavenly gift,
a gift from “The Holy Spirit.”
It is neither earned or deserved
and ought never be taken for granted.
Faith permits acceptance of our “Lord and Savior”
and HIS “Holy Sacrifice”
that alone can save our souls.

Faith is your connection to the divine.
If you lack faith, pray for it.
If you have faith, cherish it.

Conversation With God

I can't believe I did those things
that make up my dear life
I could have shared with others
let them do one or two
but, someone told me
you were put here for
these things I planned for you

But, God, my life has been so good
are you sure it all was for me
do not argue with your maker
you are mine, you see

The homeless man there on the street
holding the little child's hand
couldn't you have shared my life
with that poor old man

Don't worry, child
that man is homeless 'cause he wants to be
they tried to make him cheat at his job
he kept the faith you see
he quit his job, 'cause he believes in me
his troubles won't be long
for someone else, a CEO,
has identical faith you see
this man will find the homeless man
find out he suits his needs
the two of them will work things out
where there will be no greed

There will be food
while they are homeless
places for them to sleep
in the meantime, my child
there is no need to weep

As long as there is faith in me
I will take care of you
The life I gave you
do not feel bad
It was mine to give you, you see.

You kept the faith but, faltered some
I was there with you
when you die just have no fear
for I will be there too.....

Gods Butterfly

everything I learned about surviving was wrong, life skills
taught backward where did mom go wrong?
trying to teach myself had me lost, but now following
God I'm right where I belong.
I thank him now for my ancestors bloodshed and my
tears.... struggling to understand life all these year.
thank u lord god for answering my pleads.
even when I was control freak and didn't believe.
your faith in me has strengthened my faith in u.
I SAY WITH FULL FAITH IN REPAIRING MY LIFE, THE
VICTORY IS MINE BECAUSE I NOW KNOW I HAVE U.

Faith Keeps Us Free

From jokers to aces...shooting sharp arrows of anger at Gods shepherds and His sheep
With perditions plots and plans...with a million madness minds...
STILL OUR FAITH IT KEEPS US FREE

Jokers...laughing loud lunatics with red hot invisible pokers
Stirring the embers and stoking the fires
Hellbent like hyenas...bringing gore to the game
Overdosed in overdrive...they just drive themselves insane
Falling fast into the pits they dug for those who believe...
STILL OUR FAITH IT KEEPS US FREE

Jacks...coming on like thugs and gangsters
Trying hard to beat us down with strong tongues that twist with terror
Looking deep in dirty mirrors those mud monsters melt away
Jumpin off their lives of lies...from the ledge they stain the streets
Afterlife...they burn and freeze...
STILL OUR FAITH IT KEEPS US FREE

Queens...yeah they quiver with their power
Sitting high up in their towers...they watch the world through wicked windows
Spinning webs of soul seduction...sprouting fangs and jet black wings
Singing songs of love and lust...set to snare the wondering sheep
They seek what they can't have as they drown in their disease...
STILL OUR FAITH IT KEEPS US FREE

Kings...just like killers, they grab the good mans gold
They snatch his bits of silver...they try to take his soul
Now fury rushes through them like a jury that is hung
Their judgments turn to justice from the king of kings above
Tyrants thrones they fold...just like napkins crumpled up
Still worshipping war gods that erase their thoughts with ease...
STILL OUR FAITH IT KEEPS US FREE

Aces... hit their targets just like supernatural snipers
But when their bullets fall and fail their lacking days are numbered
Running races just like rabbits...once the first they're now dead last
Now the victims of their vengeance rise from graves to spew their wrath
A million miles off their chosen path...countless sins and crimes now paid
And the lines that lead to death are too long on judgement day...
STILL OUR FAITH IT KEEPS US FREE

Crooked cards of consequence...now their days and nights they end
As we walk the straight and narrow we lay down and rest in peace
Demons drop as end times come down
And the devil sighs and screams...
STILL OUR FAITH IT KEEPS US FREE

The Divine Market

THE DIVINE MARKET

The divine market is situated
In the miraculous area of divine love.

It is the great mall that contains all
It is stocked to overflow with more than enough
Materials to be bought here includes;
All you can think and ask for
And more than you can imagine or ask for.

However, this market is principled
It only admits people that are cleansed with the Blood
And its sales are regulated
As the only currency that guarantees exchange
Is faith in the heart of the buyer.

But many buyers are poor bargainers
Who buy little and perishable goods
Some enter the market with bags of faith
But leave with little perishable materials
Such that when their stock is exhausted
They lack faith to purchase more.

But some are wise and bargain well
These ones bring mustard seed size of faith
But bargain well enough to inherit the Owner
For knowing that the market’s Owner
Can be inherited by faith (even as little as a grain)
They overlook every other goods and services
And obtain the certificate to own the market.

Therefore, men, put your faith in God
And rather than buy things that only lasts on earth
Go for that which is eternal
And though you may be poor on earth
Rejoice that soon you will inherit the Owner
And all the market will then be yours.

He Who Loves You

The ups and downs of life
Can not be cut with a knife
When the rope is pulled to drag
You down when your trying to balance both
When times are hard we try to stay a float
With out braking the bank
So we start to cut corners
Keep what we need sell what can buy
Food to the soul to keep going
Strong turn to your faith
To the hands that will pull you out
No matter what no matter how
He is there to see us threw
When in thought turn to the one
Who knows you before you wore
In your mothers womb
When in despair and no one is there
Reach for the high that will fill
You with warmth and tears of joy
Aim a witness I been there
Where your headed and a voice
Called out to me tie the rope around hope
Bend your knees and praise him
There is no greater power
For he is of love we must grow as life goes on
Were not alone reach for faith love hope
Seek his love is for ever lasting

Dear Lord

Dear Lord, I know you’re up there watching over
Your every daughter and every son
And through all the world’s changes, you continue
To care for each and every one

So, the times I’m feeling deserted and a little insecure
Please forgive me though my faith diminishes and
Of your love, I’m just not sure

And the times I’m feeling down and an atheist I act
Please understand it’s faith in myself that I lack

And when the doors that you keep open, I adamantly close
Please, don’t give up on me; for, that’s when
I need you the most.

Walking Through Faith

walk thourgh faith is like walkingthourgh beauty
things you never thought you can never do.
walking thourgh faith i s like walking on pure cloude with tinking a thing.
walking thourgh faith you see thourgh lies.
walking thourgh faith make you relize your not alone.
walking thourgh faith ican i am ready for anything to come my way
walking thourgh faith is what you should do.
walking thourgh faith take trust in belief i know what you can do.

The Kite

spring day, window down, cool breeze blows through my hair
i come upon an old stomping ground, an abandon chicken coop,
i turn off the engine; the smell of the almond blossoms brings back memories
high school parties, this was our place of refuge
i can picture the faces, all the different clicks.
i wonder where they all have gone.
who is living where? who is doing what? what ever happened to you know who?
why am i still here? where did i go wrong?
IS HE REAL? IS HE LISTENING?
MY FAITH IS DIMINISHING...

off in the distance a familiar sound catches my ear, hand over my brow
i gaze into the sun
A KITE,
i follow the string to a young lad, no more than 10 or so
our eyes connect and he waives me over
"Mr. give it a try" he says with a look of innocence on his face
as i take the reigns i am overcome with adolescence
my earlier thoughts subsided

soaring high, twisting and turning,
we run side by side, laughing, trying to keep up..
suddenly, a calm brushes over the sky, the wind dies,
and our fun plummets to the ground
as we make our way over to the kite
i can see that this would to be its last flight
filled with guilt i turn to apologize
to my bewilderment i am alone

nylon scattered, from the crash back to earth
i pick through the pieces
i notice that the bamboo cross like frame however is still intact
on the base of it is a small rainbow insignia that reads
"IN ALL SHAPES AND SIZES'
i walk back to the car, and as i head back into town
in my rear view mirror i again see the kite soaring
i realize then that i still have questions
but my faith is now restored

I came to faith at forty-eight,
a mid-life crisis within my mind,
step-by-step a staircase I climbed,
'til I keft my old life behind;
Off the fence I slithered down,
upon my brow, doubt bears no frown,
each question answered,verified,
no blind faith this,with no place to hide;
Reasoned,studied and empirical
a life-style relevant and opical,
by revelation,face to face,
I stand here still, saved by grace.

The proof of election,is mine
In Christ too,it can be thine.
