Roses and Butterflies

Because I want to, I conjure up
A gazillion of roses and butterflies
(From the tips of my fingers, the tears in my eyes
The love in my heart, the strong belief in magic)
Exploding all around us, and covering us while I say:
“For you, for me, for us all.”
The most beautiful of colours where
We never even dreamed of or longed for
Because we couldn’t believe
We deserved it
We deserve it.
