Tongues of solar flare writhe in combat kiss
—flame-throwers unleashed
iron words h a m m e r e d in fire
ferrous words melt-morph into heart-welts
once under skin
hear the fevered air burn with cheers;
c a c k l e s of c r a c k l e s and h -i -s -s -s
bellies of tears full of fire; fire feeds on gasoline tears
fire-eaters’ —bellies full of flames
turn inside-out; fire-breathers shape-shift
from love doves to squawk hawks
bonfire of marital bliss consumed by wildfire
desolation burns holes in lacy i n* t i* m a* c y
ashes
fall

cigarettes
—nuclear winter in summer
t h r o a t s of songbirds c h a r r e d
. . . silence
follows blaring —w h o o s h— of serpent fire
purification in cremation of all OratiOn sound
liability and liberation
animate to dissipate in snaky smoke of HeLL-wraiths
apathy clouds form they rain on red heat
smother a smolder mother a cease fire
ember-ice; scalds freezes t–h–a–w–s
whets flesh — and wets fire extinguished flower bed
ashes laid down
—passion’s quiet confetti paves a path—

The whirlpool stars of the Milky Way appeared when she was feeling grey.
Mother-of-pearl constellations shimmered across her skin in the candlelight.
Saturn’s red rings spiraled wildly at her climax—
A solar flare unleashed in breathless surrender.
Turquoise desire bled into solemn greys,
And those greys married verdant dreams, swirling in slow motion.
To gaze at her was to weightless drift in a heavenly sky,
A vacation from this unforgiving world.
Her allure was all-encompassing, enchanted and unique,
Spiraling me into a pheromone-induced high
Each time she glided by like moonlight on water.
She was a celestial mesh of chaos and charm
Unreachable, until the universe paused and she murmured, stay.

A time to travel
The time to see
A space full of destiny
Through eyesight long and far
The distance that once divided may gather
Sensing the most small and microscopic in detail
A universe of galaxies with infinite matter
To notice the warmth and difference after a solar flare
Life and the amount of time in between
To travel or to see all things never seen
The beyond reality and escape of where none have been
Space a place where we encapsulate
Where did we begin?

E-Z Glo Punk, Lightning Flash,
TNT Devices will burst, do crash
Southern Night, Piccolo Petes
are hard to beat...
I like hand held Sparklers, Tanks
flashing fountains, Solar Flare
Six to #20 Gold I have to share,
no incidence, no burns, thanks...
Whistles blow, fountains glow,
pop'n sounds, entire sky all aglow
I love those colors, high an low
trails eched onto my retina
inspired me to let ya know
Now you close both eyes
in pitch dark, what a surprise
for you to see, right there
darkness, absolutely anywhere
beautiful trails of lights in motion
"Always read a label of caution"

Narrative
Sodom and Gomorrah...genesis 19;24
Pompeii...August 24 , a d 79....
1859...the great solar flare struck....telegraph offices reported set ablaze across the face of the globe.....
Am I a man of faith?
Am I a man of facts?
By this believing...
And seeing with my own eyes, for what that is worth to one legally blind.
Aye....
Several years ago near hit with a solar flare...setting the earth back to the days of the British sir...Mr Newton if it had contacted....
Do I believe the words of christ?
Do I consider myself totally dependent on solo christi..
Dio willing , aye...
Christianity has become more horizontal hold
Less vertical hold...
Atheists? Well they get in a fix or right and say o good Lord..
As though he is a mere expression...

Solar flare of souls, their rebellious radiance glows
Luscious light outflows, all boundaries it outgrows
Seeds break their hulls, toward the light they crawl
Gripping the dark earth tight, craving heavenly light
The surface is penetrated, broken, a quiet joy unspoken
Blue Angels, Visions, all break out of their dark prisons
Swollen buds, restless stallions seeking out companions
Thunderous discharge of energy puts innocence in jeopardy
Night Blooming Jasmine bent on producing a sweet scent
Toxic fruit is what`s left once the ashen flowers are spent
Tenacious days are losing time, deforming a face once sublime
The sky`s a radiant gold, heavy with summer`s stories untold

Mr. Joe's tongue bloomed as beautiful flowers
Petals falling down as crystal drops of rain
Went to the apple land to follow the shadow as bride's future
Left the morose marks from the woods where he came from
Hence, he looks luxury, brings the mother tongue of universe
Changes vastly the posture from head to foot
Life flies to the solar-flare, everyone wants to stare
Can't count the lines even see the melancholy eon...
Crown of a king touches on his head
Hands with seeds with diamonds sleep under his blessed fate
Waiting for the right clock to point its arms to raise the chin
For those hit his snoopy and woke up his hazardous soul
Swallows everything's weak inside and boosts the anxiety
Mornings can't paid the uncountable mourning
That blew the dandelion in the air called the faith
For every hour sweet line on his face conveys into ash
The deepest sigh is preserved by decades
Pushing himself to jail the race that symbols of his herd
For such reasons just to embrace the statue of liberty
Less proud to yell up own peers to the blue and green eyes
Indeed, the magical ability inherited to the forefathers
Big lie carried the bridge to burn his fellows to be known
The trash on your mind is the one you left behind
The striking flag yet today crawling
And brave spirit obtain to be known
Not as the house of poor servants
But as the creatures with faith
For the abandoned country of majestic workers

I was trapped
and bemused
feeling sad
and confused
a subatomic particle
lost into a deep black hole
and suddenly
you stuck in your magic telescope
and I opened up
like a flower
I shot out like a periscope
a mystical kaleidoscope
like a solar flare
without a care
my heart exploded into a supernova
and then,
I woke up in your constellation
a phantasmagorical revelation
so ecstatic
and divine
orgasmic
and sublime
I'm staying here forever,
until the end of time.

Her soul belongs to the summer
the solar flare of the sun
melting the chambers of her golden heart
She can feel the crash of turquoise ocean waves
dancing in her veins with her cells catching
the "big one" on their microscopic surfboards
and the sounds and lyrics of summer tunes
constantly flashing in her mind like lightning
no matter how many times she tried
distancing herself away it is finally safe to conclude
that she has officially lost her soul
to the season of summer
and there is no where for her to turn back

To the one i love and the mother of my child:
Will you be my Valentine?
Just hold my hand in the other dimension,
The one where love is forever and all our desires are met.
You dont have to see me or talk to me: just a note.
That says on some far reaching place, You do love me.
Forget Yesterday, and Today: They are only the stepping stones leading,
To our real purpose, Some point in the future. We will laugh at this drama.
Both ignorant and lost, just looking for love, as we each imagine love Should be.
P.S. Today there was a beautiful solar flare on my side of the sun. It was Ultra-violet
Instead of orange or red. An anomoly worth contemplation.

Three Shiny haired sisters
Essence of life stored in boxes
Found their voice in the church of a solar flare
Through years of searching and choosing
Dividing and coveting
Eyes were opened to examine the story
Carried on the spine of our grandmothers
The limbs of our father
The wings of our mother
Breathless from a voyage of the clan
We held hands dancing a sister ring
Around the boxes
That had to be emptied and relabeled
Before sunrise

You hadn't had any forewarning
as you take a spoonful of
Granny's 12 alarm chili,
not knowing its the
calm before the storm
as its about to set off an alarm,
when you take your
first bite, you try to show delight,
as your inner thermostat soars
to solar flare like heights,
you feel like your going through
menopause again as you feel
waves of hot flashes,
and then like a volcano you hear
something rumbling as Mt. Derriere
starts releasing its gasses,
but its not just you but Granny too
so you don't feel quite so bashful,
as you quickly guzzle down water,
glassful after glassful,
she is just beaming and feels glad
that your visiting her as you
toot-toot like a one woman band,
and then you think to yourself
I didn't know Granny was musically inclined
hearing different sharp and flat notes
coming from her behind,
and to get rid of the smell that you have to quell
you start opening a couple of windows,
all the while making a mental note
which says, remember next time to
most definitely bring the beano!

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE
by
JOHN M. ARRIBAS
I am demanding my own star in the sky when I die
I’ve handled all the hardships no judge can deny
I survived the obstacles nature placed in my path
Withstood the inanity from my fellow man’s wrath
I’ve survived droughts, earthquakes and eruptions
Tsunamis, typhoons, monsoons, solar flare disruptions
Windstorms, snowstorms, blizzards ,freezing rains
Fires, landslides, mud slides, avalanches , hurricanes
I survived famines, plagues, wildfires, epidemics
Deforestation, comets, meteors, pandemics
That’s not enough my fellow man added a few
Here are some inane things that I’m forced to do
Obey signs as they come into view, bump, go slo
Turns only, no turns, detour, tow away, no go
No exit, no passing, no horn, must turn right
Left turn only, tow away zone, delayed light
Exit, yield, no parking, enter, do not enter
Bus, school zone, hospital zone, civic center
Deer crossing, school crossing, soft shoulders
Subject to flooding, watch out for boulders
These are the instructions I follow each time
Every weekday morning from eight to nine
The rest of my time of sophisticated existence
Is evading compliance to mundane persistence

Static images are entrenched into my neural bank
The vibrations shift the view of the greatroom
Tree trunks become shifty legs
And I'm off again
Soaring with the unheralded wisps of forgotten letters
And the dust clouds of fallen steeples
The shaman in the sagebrush moves with lightning precision
Leaving behind only the fluttering of air
Nothing sacrosanct to shelf or levitate
Only the knowledge of existence to ponder
The sun has ejected a spiral solar flare
That licks a polarized face
And while taking it all in
I see the inner workings of the atoms within the eye of the beholder
