The wonder of nature you describe with the color of feelings
that even the blind sees the beauty, for you anoint with your sight.
From my forgotten core, words you inspire gush forth in indignant prose
like the lion who protects her young, who roars in warning lest she devour.
You lend me insight from your wisdom and give me laughter with your wit,
you pump the pulse in my veins when passion and sensuality is lit.
You kindle the fire in this heart when love is found
and collect the ash from the burnt cinder that haunts, when love is lost.
You hold my breath in exhilaration when I soar to triumphant heights,
the balm that soothes my pain when I’m down, your song remains
the solace I have found when life is hard, and the one profound
expression of the myriad emotions that defy words of common use.
O Poetry, you bring tears to my eyes, when in your lines I feel God cries
as I endure and withstand the ugliness, the haughtiness, of someone’s pride.
Yet with the turn of page and time, you coax from my lips such radiant smile
for with each stage in this life of mine, a poem is birthed, flutters, and flies.

There they were, in the center of
our asphalt cul-de-sac street
circled around their dead companion,
four common myna birds, holding
their own semblance of a funeral.
I slowly backed out of my driveway
and passed by them in quiet reverie.
They didn't attempt to fly away or
even move as I passed by them.
Tears flooded my eyes as I realized
how much they were deeply grieving.
Their friend was truly loved and grieved
as we'd grieve the loss of a loved one.
Later on when I returned home the
dead bird was gone, and so were they.

When my final shadows cling on desperately
Where I fight formidable battles
to merely hold the light
I send you loving vibrations
and soul sustenance
Deep from the cathedral
of one heart to another
where today no choirs sing
nor symphonies play
Yet it is here where we meet
in spiritual solace
here to surrender
and exchange inestimable treasures
recollecting memories
like unopened letters
Galaxies are stretched
over chronicles of shared history
Nebula birthing stars
will be exposed
in forth-coming conversations
bringing short-lived fulfilment to you
Hungry to feast
now will be the time
to approve your blood art vision
and with my own haunting surrender
as dappled shades ink stain your chest
I will reside with you and share, mesmerised
pens - by branding
as this will be your written reams to me
your artist's pallet or brushed canvas
no need for words
and yet creating
mysterious magical moments
Bitter-sweet the music
that dances taut guitar strings
but now blood approved
please go kick your heel up
return to your laughter
and ride on the breeze
for not all are lost
change not
for I am with you always
to love, listen and comfort as one
with you in me and I in you
as masterpiece
O river of moon roses
ferry me home....
I weep in quivering quiescence
like a weathered wild petal~
healing and hurting
in my p o e t i c recluse..
perhaps there is no word
to depict your thunder-struck garden
as breathless stars
shiver in solitude
tasting the pulse of betrayal
from the veins of grieving gravels…
I ponder ~ must I brush
skin of dusk
with angst of dawn
believe in self-spun delusions,
and drown in dahlia deception?
I have known truth as a masked lie
fed from familiar hands
of superficial solace...
I trusted the darker face of twilight
oblivious to the
sage flickering within...
following the fading silver
of the fickle Luna~
a willing mistress
to ethereal torment…
forgive me
I have no adjectives nor rhyme
left to right the love turned cold
I wove across
hyacinth horizon
that
feels not silent sighs
remember
you'll search for my silhouette
in valleys of vain violets
wicked-white winds
when the sun blemishes the sky
with colors of
ice-blue

O dream-weaver
soul-kisser....
I had found solace in my quill
Because therein could be expressed
That tragedy which gave me chills.
The pen and ink gave me some rest—
Because therein could be expressed
The cold emotion that I felt.
The pen and ink gave me some rest
From my own soul's distress and welts.
The cold emotion that I felt,
Discoloring my mind's debris
From my own soul's distress and welts—
For only sadness could I see.
Discoloring my mind's debris,
The ocean tossed and turned on me.
For only sadness could I see
And then I found you set me free.
The ocean tossed and turned on me
Yet you had taken me to land
And then I found you set me free;
We played like children in the sand.
Yet you had taken me to land;
You rescued me from sure demise.
We played like children in the sand;
You showed me that you were so wise.
You rescued me from sure demise—
That tragedy which gave me chills.
You showed me that you were so wise;
I had found solace in my quill.
The path is rocky
That leads me out of the dark
And into the light

In the realm of life, where shadows dance,
There exists a force, a divine expanse,
A beacon of light, through darkest night,
A flame that flickers, ever burning bright.
Faith, the compass of the wandering soul,
Guiding our steps towards an unknown goal,
It whispers softly, in the depths of our being,
A melody of hope, forever freeing.
In times of doubt, when storms rage on,
Faith stands steadfast, a foundation strong,
Like roots of a tree, deeply embedded,
It keeps us grounded, our spirits uplifted.
When paths diverge, and choices confound,
Faith illuminates, a path can be found,
It unveils possibilities, where none seem clear,
And wipes away the stains of doubt and fear.
With every setback, every tear that falls,
Faith mends our wounds, mends broken walls,
It mends shattered hearts, and heals the scars,
Rebuilding strength, like a thousand shining stars.
Faith intertwines, connecting hearts and minds,
A thread of unity, that forever binds,
It transcends borders, and bridges divides,
Uniting humanity, where love abides.
In the darkest valleys, where shadows loom,
Faith is the lantern, dispelling all gloom,
It offers solace, a glimmer of light,
A resolute belief, that all will be right.
So let us embrace, this gift so profound,
Let faith be our anchor, when we're unbound,
In its embrace, we find strength anew,
A timeless beacon, forever true.
In the tapestry of life, faith weaves its thread,
A symphony of hope, through which we're led,
With open hearts, let us cherish and believe,
For in faith's embrace, miracles we receive.
after “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud” (also sometimes called “Daffodils”) by William Wordsworth
I wandered weightless as a feather,
a muted plume from mourning dove.
A tuft afloat in breezy weather
connected now to skies above;
as long as winds will carry me
from over fields and out to sea.
My glad esprit more free than birds,
detached from mortal needs I fly,
where spirits long to share their words
among the songs in clouds, I sigh...
for Earth was never this composed,
this high I travel unopposed.
Oh cumulus, a meadow white,
I feel at home atop your waves
illuminant, in purest light.
Mid savored heights my mem’ry saves
inertia of the clover green
and shiver of the water’s sheen.
Such riches now I do enjoy
in solitude away from fray.
I'm free from living once so coy;
in spirits’ realm I long to stay,
for then, myself I will fulfill
with gild as gold as daffodil.
i amble through the corridors
of this comfortless life
...the echo of your footsteps
meander behind me
in shallow strides
bestowed by death
i feel the pierce
of your eyes
fall from clouded skies
slashing the core of my soul
the corpus of your being
knocking me back
through every tempest
of storm's breath
the lash of death
pummeling me
with the ocean's waves
stinging me
with its misty cries
erasing my footsteps
as i try to regain myself
and mend my soul
...i curse you again
beneath every sob
of childhood pain
that haunts my mind
with memories of you
*** OF AND ABOUT IT ALL ***
Life’s so much a-coming or a-going,
With hours of waiting or flowing
From now to next
While we step about, hopefully blessed —
On a quest for things major or minor to cherish
In our sometimes to come. We sojourn thence
From this place over to a rushing creek’s edged cliffs—
To linger, to draw some solace, some rest…
And there, we see suddenly manifest:
The sacred red rose, growing
Near, beautifully on high,
Surrounded by the flames of our worship-full prayers.
Life’s a range of highs and lows waving
Aside the roads that fork and lead ventures
Along moss-lined knowns
Or beneath shaded canopies of unknowns.
Our searching, dawn-to-dawn roamings
Carry life’s tales of getting and giving;
Suffering and forgiving;
Ever grateful for living and breathing.
Life brings mapped ways that vacillate
Over ranges of changes; lessons
And puzzles; ideas, moods and feelings
Immersed in working and dreaming of someday
Realizing true love — wondrous, sweet.
From birth and learning to stand, to speak…On to
Old-age dimming our eyesight as happens…
Even to such gifted artists as
Edgar Degas, Mary Cassatt, and Claude Monet.
Yet, they went on painting masterpieces, nearly blind —
With God’s inspiration helping them to find
A new approach, perceiving and creating
With their Inner Eyes.
Life’s an orbiting
Between reality and imagining;
Between perchance and possibly —
Between the often said, “If-only’s…”
And the magical, “Look there
At what’s already appeared.”
Life’s a calendar of playing and celebrating,
But includes sad times and final wakes…T’is
Somewhat a dizzying dance of circling turns,
Of rounding passes for however long
Until that unknown day of going on beyond…
Taking our storied hours along,
Relating how we stayed
Alligned to God’s willed ways,
For the good of the All and Everlasting,
From our toddling time
To our leaping with starlit promises
To compose a delighting song,
Unfurl wings and fly —
Eternal

Thanks be to God…
The mistakes of many holds true till now. Unanswered questions and unforgiving thoughts.
No one knows me.
No one knows, how broken and beaten you are. No one ask, to see your scar, your broken doors left ajar.
There is no more wonder in your step. No one to hold while you slept.
Everything seems so empty.
When what you want may never what you back.
Facts becomes lies , lies becomes truth. Now my feelings are loose and my emotions have been hung out on the noose. Embedded within these written words of abuse.
Where are the ones, that made my heart ponder? Where is the wonder, that filled my soul?
Far from my imaginations of what it could be. Left with multiple smiles and many, whom wanted to see.
Now only to set everyone free, but wanting to be, unchained from my weakened heart.
When there is no love, to share, no one is there anymore, to care.
These seasons have run its course. For the source is me, a vicious cycle of pity. The monster in the room concealed to darkness, hideous is how it is perceived by nature. Capturing the untold stories, of ones love for another. Yearn for the ones that may find themselves on the other end. Now, reset and life starts all over again.

Dual curved carved crystalline it rests
quantum wave particles interwoven at best
allows Heart to heave
explorations suavely gentle, feel
Heal with non-local light white
across Tibetan height nights
continuously crafted through storm eyes
looping smile sighs, holding Soul steady
whorling, whispering veins tirelessly heady
expansive is a rush of blood
Rain tears feed its sizzling throbbings
arteries androgyny crying crumbling piously
lying awake, nothing’s at stake
Heart within Planet of the Heart
touching, encircling, squeezing
Soft supple sublime smoothing
in rhythmic dance inward and out
twirls across seaspun songs, sealed
as blood flows through brain cells
holds no sin, beating making no din
Heart pure stillness, pricelessly present
through sockets smiling : sees, hears, feels
tastes, smells ~ in silence connecting its moment is only a moment
holds exalted longings without expectations
observing own arising gyrations
musings, twinnings, dismantlings
Beauty of Heart melts catalytic
making music, fascination still
cannot label nor judge neither contradict
or impress empresses or advocates
governors, lover hierophants or poets
fathoms no fools ~ merely IS
Presents primal lingering languid gaspings
for its own beatings, pulsing, unfoldings
irrepressible expressions
explosions of expirations

HEART AM I
Solace.
Solace found in secret places
A world away from life's stressful aberrant din
Equilibrium and soul restored
I can finally breath
Heart smiles on reflection deep within
Sanctuary abounds in a blaze of abundant glory
Inner calm as a gentle pleasing summer breeze
Ever closure to the divine
Ancient echoes resonate in harmony
In invigorating splendour
The story unfolds in vibrant hues
Of the pure sublime
Time stands still for the earthly wise
But remains I one’s heart forever
Of those with wide open wide eyes
Mindfully feasting on the moment
Free of mind pollution and unprecedented burden
Languishing in the unadulterated divine.

steeped in mundane, worldly desires, blind I am
I wish to attract His blessed attention
His presence is all pervading, I forgot
grant solace to soul.

On days where life feels too heavy,
Just needing a wee break from home,
I seek solace along the coast of the Solway Firth,
A natural place of beauty, I love to endlessly roam.
Walking along the dark earthy sand,
It scratches the soles of my feet,
I'm at peace and at one with nature,
At this wild and wonderful retreat.
So blessed to have this beauty spot,
Not even five minutes from my town,
A place to escape and be truly free
Whenever I'm feeling down.
The calming rhythm of the murky grey tide,
Helps me to relax and unwind,
As I feel the fresh salty breeze,
Cleansing my soul and mind.
