Solace

steeped in mundane, worldly desires, blind I am
I wish to attract His blessed attention
His presence is all pervading, I forgot
grant solace to soul.

We are, indeed, 'steeped in mundane desires,' as you so movingly expressed it, Mohan. Kudos, Gershon

JCB, I had written an extra stanza for the Sapphic contest. So thought of posting it as a self contained small poem. Do read the other 4 stanzas. After contest is over, will merge into one. Thanx for appreciating and putting it as your fav. list. Keep motivating. Hugs. Mohan
