Best Sink Your Teeth Into Poems

Dog

you think its okay
to sink your teeth into her
and pull out chunks

until she thinks
thats where her worth comes from,
the pieces
       she loses

and when did she stop
being able to raise her voice
above a
             whisper?

and why do you ask
where the strength of her spine went?
where the woman you loved went?

when you trained it out of her
        you took it from her
you dont get to be mad about what you

                                     lost
you lost nothing
you didnt take

Premium Member My Radiator Leaks Or My Exhaust Backfires

Every time I sneeze or cough

Either my radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires!

Shouldn't be a big surprise

It's a definite sign we ain't no young chicken no more

When you grunt just putting on your socks

It's the ninth inning with two men out

If you have to turn up the volume on TV

Till it shatters the wine glasses in your dining room credenza

You are not far from the end

Another sign that you ain't no spring chicken

Is when you repeat the same sentence twice in a row

Is when you repeat the same sentence twice in a row

Also when you forget to zip up after you pee

What's worse though is when you forget to zip down

When everything hurts and what doesn't hurt doesn't work

It feels like the morning after and you haven't been anywhere

Your knees buckle but your belt won't

You sink your teeth into a steak and they stay there

You sing along with elevator music

You have a dream about prunes

Your nose and ears are hairier than your head

In dog years you're dead

Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional

And finally... inside every old person is a young person

Wondering what the hell happened!

Being In the Now

Being in the NOW

This is a simple secret of happiness. It is so simple, that one may wonder, “How something like ‘Being in the NOW’ can guarantee eternal happiness?” But it can. It is a sure way of living with peace and joy.

It’s a big challenge

While it seems so simple, being in the NOW is a big challenge. We are slaves of our mind and we rarely achieve this state of being in the NOW. The fault is not ours. The fault is that of our mind. Before we know it, it slips into a thought of the past. Gone, our NOW is kidnapped! By the time we catch the kidnapper, the mind, and bring it to the table, it gently jumps into the future. It hijacks our life to a new destination. Yes, it holds us to ransom, and the biggest problem – we don’t even know it. It is a big challenge to be in the NOW. But if we can, we can be assured of peace and happiness.

The NOW is peaceful and blissful

Just for now, focus on this moment. Breathe some fresh air, as you count your blessings. Just look through your beautiful eyes and enjoy the nature you see. Stop and hear some amazing music. Don’t think. Stop your mind from drifting away. Just be in the NOW and do what you love to do. Maybe it is making love, but don’t let your mind think of how your heart broke when you made love last year.

Being in the NOW

Just enjoy the present moment. If you prefer, just sink your teeth into your favourite fruit and enjoy the moment. For you, it may be just playing the piano. Whatever makes your moment blissful, just for now, do that. You will find so much joy and peace.

Why lose this moment?

When the NOW can be so beautiful, why lose it? It is sad that we don’t even realize that we are losing moments, moment by moment. The NOW is ours, but somebody robs it and the NOW is gone. We let our NOW get destroyed. Not just that, instead of being happy and peaceful in the NOW, we permit our NOW to be filled with misery and sorrow. What a shame! We must resolve not to lose this moment. This moment belongs to us, it is ours. It is our biggest treasure. It is this moment and the next and the next that actually constructs our life. Moments create days, days create weeks, weeks create months, months create years and all of these create our life. If we lose the moment, we lose life, a life that was meant to be peaceful and joyous.

Move Me, Pull Me, Fill Me

Move me into the light
Pull me away from these ghosts
Fill me with something I can feel
Awaken every inch of me with your touch
It's like waking from a nightmare
Your hands keep me burning inside
Longing for more
Your mouth electrifies me
Needing you deeper and deeper
Pushing,pulling,screaming,awakening to something primal
Everything fades as you sink your teeth into my skin
Nothing left but desire
Move in me
Harder and harder
Until everything explodes
And all that is left is peace
In the fire that surrounds us
An escape to a place I can lose myself
If only for a moment that feels like eternity
Tasting you
Touching you
Feeling you as I come undone
Unhinged from this world
The deeper you go
The harder you move
The more you shake me to my core
A pls only you can find
I long to be your slave

Premium Member Down the Urban Trail

The air is crisp, cold weather
that you can sink your teeth into.
It's midwinter with a brief break
between rainy weather fronts.

My fat limping dog and I have
got to get out of the house and
find some wildness.
He lets me know of his happiness
and I ignore his comment about hypocrites
as I put his leash on and
he drags me down the trail.

"How will we ever find wildness
under these conditions?"
he barks at me.
"Maybe this time boss?
Maybe this time you will let go?"

We walk down the trail by
the storm swollen stream and
hear the same question posed in the air.
The storm stream tries hard to break free
and wreck havoc, but,
the well engineered cement banks
give it nothing to grab hold of and it
careens on past to the sea, harmlessly.
The river's only hope to spread wildness
is another storm to raise its banks.
The grass above the banks is all of a kind,
easily mowed, and no threat to the asphalt
path we walk.

There is some hope of wildness
in the windblown debris
left over from the storm.
Perhaps seeds of a hardier folk
will move in among the grasses and
the perfect line of trees
that border the trail.

Such strangers will have to hide
and take cover before the caretakers
of the trail arrive tomorrow.
They will efficiently find all wildness
from the storm and make sure that
it is all discarded and hauled to the dump.

Perhaps I am looking for nature
in all the wrong places.
Here it has been collared and leashed
and rendered docile.
Still it fights back.
My hopeful dog directs my attention to the stream
and points to an otter that sinks when I look.
"Maybe this time, boss?" he implores.
Overhead, three noisy geese, free as you please,
as insolent as if they were twenty,
announce their imminent landing
at the county water control pond.
Not all of us are on a leash yet.

Make
                                     mine spicy
                                  Mama Mia. How
                                I love a spicy pizza.
Make it cheesy, so that it'll
please me. Oh and, in the middle
                    put a large pepperoni
                 so big and round that
                I'll get fat even when
I look at that. No, that's not
a doughnut hole that you see now
in the middle. That's the piece of pepperoni! How I
wish that I could color in the center spicy red. You will
have to use instead what you've got inside inside your head:
Your imagination, right? Then imagine one more thing. Can you
guess? Sink your teeth into this pizza Yummy yum, now take a bite!

Hurt Me, I Will Forgive

Hurt me some more, if thats what you need
how well you hide who you are
have you always worn that mask?
you took from me while smiling
you stole my heart, with promises
you steal my child ,with your freedom
its all you really wanted...
you want something to hurt...
to punish for your abuse.. but a child?
and your hurt, you poor, poor, girl
somebody, give her a place to stay..
who took your innocence?
why make me pay?
do you not forgive?
i only see your potential
if i saw you, i wouldnt love you
an angry, lier and thief
dont tell me the truth, or yourself
it will only hurt you
and free me from your curse
you need me to suffer to make you happy
all vampires need blood
why do i love the wounded?
sink your teeth into my heart,
enjoy the blood, and my suffering
I have cried more than this
i will forgive, i will forgive, i will forgive.

Moonstruck

Tonight the black cats and witches run amuck,
Tonight is the night I once again become moonstruck.
When will you come to me out of the mist,
You must come soon, I insist.
When the midnight hour draws near,
Everything will become clear.
Where are you now,
Can you hear me call to you without uttering a sound?
I hear only the quickness of my heart's beat,
Smell only the sweetness in the air I breathe.
I can sense you near,
Yet I feel no fear.
I know that tonight I shall give all of my being to you,
Yet ever since I've met you that is all I've wanted to do.
I want to give you my soul,
But that you have already stole.
Come to your bride,
Draw me to your side.
Sink your teeth into my nape,
And seal our fate.
Before the morn,
Anew vampire shall be born.
Take me as your bride forevermore,
And we shall be apart nevermore.

Drive Me Crazy

Drive me crazy do your thing
Tear my heart out and eat it
No let’s start again
Drive me crazy do your thing
Sink your teeth into peaches
No still not right
Drive me crazy do your thing
Pout your lips and look at me
Getting there

Lust is primal in the eye
Bedazzles a head like
An electric shock
Flesh it speaks
Mind it’s locked
Rapacious!

Drive me crazy for a while.

The Cocaine Wolves of the Dallas

The cocaine wolves of Dallas. Sink your teeth into the night until they are numb, the beasts are lurking about looking for a cigarette to bum.
The cocaine wolves of Dallas, and everybody carries a knife. Slickback your hair and tighten your laces of the boots' on the throat of life.
Key bums in the bathroom, More more more. New friends linger, Brush their teeth with their finger, and anxiously watch the door. Feed of the night. My fists are clinched, my eyes are widened, I can see I'm feeling fine. Breathe life into to me. Bulletproof and shaky I feed deep into moonlight. Dominion over all things, with everything to gain insight. The cocaine wolves of Dallas, leave your old life behind. As the sunrises depression kicks in leaving you serotonin dry. The pack turns on each other, chewing on the by-and-by. The cocaine wolves of Dallas, where everybody carries a knife. The nighttime is the right time. If you feed the beast, the beast will feed of you.

Beer

swing, my brother
and swig
your liver, brown -
sink your teeth into mine
bermuda grass in my brain
yet again
and the left plank
stands out. again.
here we are, both
shooting arrows blind
or are we just spineless?

''Beloved Lie''

I am not scared.
I will not run.
Sink your teeth into my pain.
Suffering soul is all you gain.
Hold my tongue I self refrain.
Rip,Rip,Rip your words.
I am on mute.
Find someone else who will follow suite.

Spring Break

Nothing more that Ben and Jerry enjoy
Than Florida on Spring Break
Hanging out there at this moment
On this bright and sunny day

Swimming in the ocean
Just off the Southern shore
Waiting for a nice plump student
To dip his toes in and more

Nodding in agreement
They both would like that very much
After all what would two Great Whites
Rather crunch for lunch

Conversation rolls around to Daytona
Reminiscing of the time
Ben chowed down on four collage kids
While Jerry gorged on Nine

Yes, Spring is in the water
Where both the sharks relate
Nothing better in Florida when
You can sink your teeth into Spring Break

My Map To the Heavens

Slow, sweet liquor. This is what you are when you move next to me in the middle of the night.

Soft, dazzling starlight on a summer night in the desert.

Passionate, wicked smile.

Melt. Into. Me.

Take me apart with your skillful hands and put me back together again my scientist.

Test your hypothesis, examine, postulate…Taste the experiment. Peel off layers, slowly, till there is just enough left, to let your imagination go wild.

In silence, I can hear the pulse, your footsteps, your heartbeat…

The music that your soul makes is sultry, like the jungle in the middle of the night,

Mysterious, adventurous, full of fireflies and tigers!

This song is like a symphony of cicadas and crickets that I hear when I lean my head against my window pane in spring and listen.

Your lure. Allure. Is subtle, sublime…A storefront window and I have money in the bank.

Your skin, all the little scars and marks, a constellation – it is my map…

…To the heavens…

I have found my way home, in tiny steps, interwoven with yours, playfully chasing a dream…together.

Like children, with the whole day to play.

Our breaths lock together, like the ebb and flow, like the ocean tides rising up and down pounding on the shore,

You sink into me like a wave, full of force and fury….

I am your desert beach, your island, yours to wander, to know, to wrap yourself in the warm bounty of,

To taste and savor.

And at times, to reckon with… The tempest within.

A torrential downpour of kisses is forecast for now though…

A long misty, sexy afternoon of daydreams.

Fantasies. Longings…Cravings…

Sink your teeth into my white flesh. Gently… I can smell your scent, on the breeze.

It is my honey. Sugar. Powder. Dust. Delight. Full. You.

Stars that fall gently on my skin and stick there for a night of dancing...

I want you to have them…
