take a frosted walk
clad tip to heel in baked pumps
cupcakes for your feet
Summer set the dewy grass
Through my castle I pass
The sweet scent of the flowers
Bare feet dancing in the showers

When A Fourth Line Helps It To Rhyme! Poetry Contest

2nd place in the contest
I gather up all of my courage
My gaze drifts to the evening sky
All that space there between
Alien visitation must be a lie
The sun and moon still shine for us
Eventually they burn out and die
Everywhere a sea of murkiness
With little spots of distant light
No comfort in their glowing beacons
They lack warmth beyond their sight
All the wisdom in every book
Can’t make sense out of a starry night
We may someday sprint off this rock
Conquer every planet to the last
Our population my even explode
An empire that will be unsurpassed
The only thing worse than a prison too small
Is a prison that is too vast
Dedicated to the Messiah.....He knows why
Gazing from afar, amid still frame silence...
Watching her making way unto the parks bench
Blue skies taking a drag from my cigarette; sketching
Divinities staircase within my mind; transcending this Autumn's
Canvas but a silhouette her bridals path winding, through a breath..
Reaching out her gentle hand whileas a white dove, the symbol of love
Descends from it's perch atop porcelain clouds to drink, from this her tears
Pangful spheres risen from a crystal heart; cast aside yesteryears cherub wings...
She awaits endless dreams; to awaken from this valley of broken things; her beauty.
Today we are here to unite two stars
And bring them together
And so they come together
Now
And together they will be
As all the stars are together
In the sky forever
Though stars themselves can die out
The timing is not within even our grasp
And through the dust, and the chaos, and the loss
A spark is lit
A new light forms to shine
Stars grow strong
Yet even they
Are sometimes weak
Which is why we see them sit together in the nighttime sky
Because they are surrounded by dark
They twinkle together
And cast light, love, a helping hand
Upon each other
When alone one might be snuffed out
Which is why we bring these two together
And in doing so
Cast that light, love, helping hand
Ignite the spark that begins a new star
Today we are here to unite two stars
And bring them together
And so they come together
Now
And together they will be
As all the stars are together
In the sky forever.

In a devastating crash, your life comes rushing in,
The pain is all around, and you don't like where you live.
You see your all alone, least that's the way it seems,
your realities up-side down and you wake up in a scream.
Just turn your head, you'll see your friends all by your side.
Just look ahead, you'll find the peace that lives inside.
The road is long, keep pressing on,He'll make you strong.
Always by your side.
Sometimes the pain is deep,we just break down and cry,
we don't like what we see,and we have no strength to try,
to pull ourselves out,of holes we've fallen into,
we wallow in the doubt and we don't know what to do.
Just turn your head, you'll see your friends all by your side.
Just look ahead, you'll find the peace that lives inside.
The road is long, keep pressing on,He'll make you strong.
Always by your side.
Sweetheart, have you ever thought about how beautiful our relationship is?
I wonder if it is possible for couples to be like us
So open to each other
Having nothing to hide
Honest
No fear but only respect for each other
Accepting unconditionally
Loving without a break
Anger that vanishes in a kiss, sometimes in just a touch
Expressing love even when there is no understanding
Trust to the core
Enjoying the togetherness
Encouraging the uniqueness
Desiring to live long together
So playful
So naughty
So cute
So loving
So caring
So romantic
Never I
Always US.
Maybe it's because of the path our relationship had taken
Genuine affection drew us to each other
We respected each other
Friendship took over and made our bond stronger
We loved each other's company,
Had no expectations from each other
Our respect and friendship paved way to trust
Trust made us share our secrets, our real selves
By sharing, we exchanged our hearts, our lives
And our love
And God blessed and approved our love
Because He had made us for each other.
Our love is a mixture of all relationships... which makes us so unique.
Darling, we are so beautiful!

The flower’s image before me
stares
So overwhelmed by the splendor
my fingers become
agitated
restless
frantic
and what spills
sears mine slip
stunning sky blue decorate
the sylphs eyes
clustered blond tresses ornament
her soft Caucasian flesh
to her hips
leading this soul’s gaze to those
naked distended lips
The poet pining for this
petite nubile miss
Devine bride in white
floating down rose petaled aisle
fountains of pleasure

Contest Haiku- I love u
Sponsored by James Edward Lee Sr.
It begins with prayer
as I kneel
in my morning shower,
first thanking God
for all the blessings
He has given to me,
then I start
listing those
dear to me.
I think of you,
how much I love you,
and your needs,
I ask for strength and healing,
ask for forgiveness
if I have done anything
to hurt you
and tell God
how I need you.
It’s then that
the tears start to flow
as I let Him know
how very important
you are to me,
why I feel helpless many times
and am unable to help you.
As I try to speak,
my tears are coming down
like the water
in the shower,
soon I can’t even
see or speak.
All I am now
is a crying man,
wanting God to help me,
to help you, to heal you,
to show me how
to be your strong Knight,
instead of someone
just full of tears.
Even if He allows us to stay together
sometime in the future,
I know at times
I will be nothing
but a crying man.
Crying tears of Joy
when you are here,
crying tears of Woe
when you are not.
As you have been here recently
I am doing both right now
and love you too much
to ever stop completely.
My Lady Susan,
this Knight is forever yours
and will never leave your side…
may God continue
to have mercy on us both.

A warm, white noise water rush of comfort

Concerning the News
of a Blue Whale’s Death
For thousands of years,
came melodious song.
Across myriad miles,
none other so strong.
Oh, Iceland, Oh Iceland,
you’ve murdered the choir.
Blue now is red;
go wade in the mire.
Teach all your sons
why water is mute.
How you ended it all
by learning to shoot.
Evanescent the pleasure,
you’ve sated your tongue.
Absent all need,
rather it should be dung.
This is my anguish—
unspeakable sorrow,
see hope abandoned—
farewell to tomorrow.
FOREST SHOWER
From the steaming highway
Stopped for a light
looking through
A giant peering in
woodland so thick
and deep in thought
No thunder nor lightning
the mood is mild
Promenade
but a moment’s estimate
Thirsty forest trees with half-wet stature
hug in the dark forest glade
So quietly drenched the scene the freshness
a million tiny eyes within
without
The chatter whether angry or happy shelter
Drops from high above mingle symphonic
in the mist
Pristine
as it might have looked those past thousands
Serenely innocent
Perhaps a meadow
with sharp hooves plashing puddles
Happening on roses wild
a few
A stream trickled down from distant height
so marvelously clean unobtrusive
Oh to go down on both knees
drink from white hands
Wild flowers unknown uncultivated
a treasure of weeds
All is wed in perfect loneliness
An ancient hunter’s blood recalled
To run
To cool the feet
To bathe body and spirit
Just to walk through such weeping nature?
Oh no!
Sacrilege!
Invasion!
No!
Leave I must while the freshness the aroma lasts
A final glance
A shiver
Eyes fixed for a second
Stealing memory most dear
Seeping storing in soul’s special place
