                                  India -
                           An abode
                         Of rich culture
                            and tradition.
                                                Shaped by our ancestors -
                               the moulds of our past
                          Inspired by Freedom Fighters
martyred wishing for a free Nation
Led by leaders initiating missions to change the world,
India is progressing.. Reaching out towards her goal
                       Of being the country
she was always meant to be -
                       A haven of
                       Harmony and
                        Peace.
                        *
                        Jai
                       Hind

Shaping Sounds of Love

(Unrhymed Tercets followed by 9-line stanzas.
Co-written with someone close to my heart)

Morning Tulips opening petals shaping sounds
Dancing a slow ballade to your rising melody
With burning passion entering my desire

Warm drinking golden thoughts
Tasting one beautiful wine
A slender soft kiss dragging away clouds
The amazing beauty of it shines
Holding a soul through your eyes inside vision
Parting lips kiss gate opening honey
Crashing feelings in an ocean wave of emotions
Touching golden sunshine smiles
All over warmly lovingly the treasure in you

You fulfill me with all of you… skin on skin
Hands clasping hands, lips on lips, hips on hips
Rise and fall we come together as one united soul

In destiny it's a dream we're all seeking
Silk ivory pearl rainbow luster
Voices of two souls' duet floating in the mist
As the seashell opens gasping beautiful pearl
Treasure of the century as ones eyes moistly glisten
Drumbeats begin the echo of the bloods passion beat
Slowly planting a seed inside the chamber which holds love
Gasping sighs as one kiss intensifies the tempo
Desires plugged together melting hot inside you

COLLEGE STUDENTS SHAPING MY WINGS

"She did this" and "She tore my paper, I’m red mad!"
"Miss, tell her to quit copying my lines!"
Every nail of rampage was tolerable,
as bright awakenings made semesters less tough.

They joined clubs and played a sneaky gang war
all the crammed jigs my college students fulfilled
only to grin, "Did our exams fly high ?"
"Please, can we have a make-up work, right now?"

The weeks of campus sermons droned along,
Graduation came, in a flash, they were gone!
I remember how the bonfire days used to flame
our summer nights warmed... unbidden and long.

I watched them grow and warmly discovered,
the different shades of patience in my nine lives.
The boyfriends came and then they disappeared,
oh now what? Some became instant brides.

Another set arrived for academe's rites,
while new batches of rogues began to stir.
Again, party hopping rolled with dreams on flight
that's when my wonder sparked a renewed glow.

With folios of ideas marked,"Let's start".
Each one carrying gifts of awe so dear,
I tossed them all with glitters from my heart…
but, these groups flexed my wings to stretch wider

as a more untamed troop outsmarted the last!

Seams

trapped,
safeguarded,
each appendage
secured in amber,
some Jurassic specimen
created for your gaze

you regard me
with a quizzical eye,
comb your notes carefully
for collected data
on my anomalies

how to straighten this limb,
shape this abdomen,
bend this thorax
to fashion the perfect
exemplar of your
scientific prowess

no manufactured artifice
will satisfy you
you deftly maneuver
and rearrange,
cut and reassemble,
manipulating your scalpel
and forceps

until you have your prize,
flawless and complete,
but for the glue
leaking from the seams

Mistakes Help You Grow, Shaping Who You Are Once You'Ve Learnt

It eats me up inside.
Maybe you don't get it
maybe you're failing to accept
it,
But it's certain that it's hurting
and eating up my pride-
While guilt plays it part
While it all trembles before the
eyes soaked-
Reminiscent of your pain.
I can never win
Nor can I move forward
Paths are torn in two
And I want to believe you-
You say to me once more
When all I want is to hold and
prove I never loved
Like I now do
I never knew it was possible to
reveal  a side to you
And that vulnerability
when your tongue tied words
Mimic the naked truth-
assuring not only your heart
but your mind falls harder
While you slip away in some
sort of fantasy
One you can't imagine leaving
One that's meant to remain
steady
 Then the steadfast loyalty
suppresses any doubt
Even after doubt has been
proven time and time before
If only I loved you then as I do
now
I'd be a better person
Capable of genuine love.

Shaping Tomorrows

They are sinking
In the multiplication tables
While growing older
In a lack of emotional resources...
The differences
Are unnoticeable
In mirrors...
These
They are nailed
To loneliness.
The seasons
Are unnoticeable in their hearts...
The years
Rotting
In their eyes
To them...
The revolution
Is not the result
Of the last few minutes
In their alphabet
There is a path
To curses.

Premium Member Shaping the Shadow

As in dense mist I walk entranced in pace slow,
tracing your footprints my heart beats return,
out of sight I shape in me your ornate shadow.

When from the horizon northern winds blow,
chilled clouds spread dark shroud on the sun,
as in dense mist I walk entranced in pace slow.

I see you now saunter in my sunshine meadow,
adorning gems of my dream an angel you turn,
out of sight I shape in me your ornate shadow.

The spurt of your enticing fragrance I follow,
your elusive trail I won’t ever waver to yearn,
as in dense mist I walk entranced in pace slow.

The sunburst sky makes my craving mind glow,
in blazing passion stoked by your fervor I burn,
out of sight I shape in me your ornate shadow.

In dim twilight as I traverse life landscape fallow,
to live with the agony of the longing heart I learn.
As in dense mist I walk entranced in pace slow,
out of sight I shape in me your ornate shadow.

The Shaping Tools
                                                    By Dawne Zacharias

Who are you today?
Was Heavenly Father there with you?
What were His shaping tools?
The challenges you worked with day to day?
What were you given in life to learn from?
That you suffered but somehow pulled through
What did you decide about you?
That shaped who you are,
as you grew?
We have one life to live
Though perfect it may not have been
But the lessons learned have given you a grin.
You chose life to begin.

Shaping Sense

You
Are more
Important than
Weak words express.
If these simple lines convey anything,
Let it be that regardless of reason,
You complete me.
Dark with light,
Fire, air.
Whole.

Need For a Heart Connection, Shaping Up Our Nations- Comment On the Ukraine and Russia Conflict

What can we do,
    A distant few
Who stand for peace, not war.?

How do I stop fighting, violence, suffering and pain?

Emphasize love, connection, and cross-cultural affection.

    Look down from above,
         What will you see?

Our hearts are connected
     We're all being affected
On this small planet we inhabit together as one.

I denounce destruction
More- am a fan of construction

Creativity, not morbidity
A higher quality of life for all.

Cross national projects, volunteering overseas and cross-cultural community celebrations please!
How can we possibly shape each other's nations?

Meditate on peace,
Pulling up our sleeves to expose the elbow grease, plant trees, garden, play music, bowl- fill our time mindfully, fill our soul-

What can we do
       A distant few
Who are revved up to dream, create and help?

"A lot" I say
Self-reflection says we've got a heart connection, a beautiful bisection, that need not correction.

Premium Member I can build a new personality, like a sculptor shaping the clay of life

I can build a new personality, like a sculptor shaping the clay of life,
But I feel the gaze of who I once was, watching me from the shadow of memories,
I try to bury her, but my hands weaken when digging deep into the past,
And I cannot burn her, for the flames would leave scars on my fragile soul.
She clings to me like a ghost that refuses to leave, whispering all I want to forget,
So I carry her with me, an echo of my steps, a weight that does not dissipate,
Dragging her along on every journey, until she finds nowhere else to fly,
And she sinks deep into me, like a river flowing through the cracks of my new self.
I try to become something more, to embrace my future with open arms,
But she settles in my fissures, a silent resident in the heart of change,
And in this struggle between who I was and who I want to become, I dance on a thin line,
Trying to find balance between the shadow of the past and the light of the coming day.
Perhaps, in time, I will learn to accept her, to integrate her as part of me,
To build a strong foundation from fragments of the old and the new,
And thus, to bloom like a flower finding its roots in the soil of wholeness,
In a dance of transformation, an endless poem of my becoming.

Shaping the Earth

Nothing but darkness fills the air,
hiding shapes upon the sea.
Waves crash harshly
on the unsuspecting shore,
appearing suddenly out of the blackness,
ripping the sand savagely
from its resting place.
The wave carries it off to a foreign beach
and dumps it there,
until it is once again
thrown about by a wave.

Shaping You

My imagination shaping you
As the work of great god
And my artistic heart
Want to convert you in great art
Believe on me I am surprise
By the tale of your fairy eye
As like the seven wonder of the world
Your beauty work as earth surprise
I am not only a lover
My heart gone made by the view of your eye
Like the growth of emerging sun
Your appear gifted rise to the life
As the moon spread white light
Your white color bring light in the life
So show your appear and view true brightness
Remove darkness and feel real light

Premium Member Shaping Destiny

As darkness of night shrouds daylight,
we have benefit of hindsight;
moments of quiet reflection,
for our consciousness correction,
reviewed thus from the lens of love,
of who we embraced or did shove,
be it in thought, word or in deed,
seeds we planted, in time will breed,
for we’re empowered to create,
shaping our world, impure or chaste,
which we then live spherically,
shaping future magically.
