Premium Member All roads lead to you
Like a mad man
without a plan,
slightly insane,
dancing in the rain,
pixilated dreams
like shallow streams,
leave me bemused,
restless, but amused,
but my soul is tried
from those bullets fired,
when loved ones depart,
leaves holes in my heart,
as guns aren't coded,
when locked and loaded.
Those memory lanes,
flying paper planes,
despite grey storms,
we had strong...

Premium Member Rough Roads To Roam
The flames of the furnace (well-travelled by wind
slowly glazing the rags of gray women chagrined
at the sight of a hair fleeing tresses now thinned)
sometimes billow like waves flooding naves through the night,
when the lightning peeks in where the tension hangs tight
while the lanterns, alarmed,...

Dirt Roads
Dirt Roads

Hello ole friend, I’ve visited you before.
What can you tell me, what news is in store?
You read like a book, imprinted and deep.
I know there are secrets, you like to keep.

Let’s see what’s gone by, and traveled your way.
Unusual footprints or tracks I might...

"The Unlit Flame at Blue Feather’s Cross Roads"

Words these days are seldom Red
like drops of lifeless blood falling cold on a hot frying pan,
sentences are scattered, stuck in Go Nowhereland,
semi-solid, immovable coagulating gelatinous, turning dark incorrigible

They are watched silently by pale ghost squadrons
of Life’s fleeing...

All Roads Lead To Rome
All Roads lead to Rome

There is a well known saying
That all roads lead to Rome
But I don't take it literally
Because my road leads me home...

Only one road leads to heaven
Though many roads lead to hell
That’s a fact I can’t hold back
It’s also one I know real well

When it comes to taking roads
Know that I have taken my share
At the end of the ones that lead to hell
I learned there...

Premium Member The Roads Not Taken
Regrets on the roads not taken.
Wondering what would have happened,
What could have happened,
If I just gave love one more chance.
Would my heart be whole or,
Still as empty and broken,
As it is now.
The one and only to ever feel,
Died in my arms and that,
Is also where...

Cross Roads
Again it’s another of those episodes
I hate being in the passenger seat
Now we’re back at those cross roads
It’s like we always render on repeat

So where do we now go from here?
Motor stalling, can’t we move forward
It feels like we’re again in reverse gear
You’re struggling and...

All roads lead home

How can that be true?

When there is no home

And there is no you

All roads lead nowhere!...

~ the Narrow Roads Discerning ~
~ At last! ~ At last! As
a sweet rejoinder to Him my
soul cried out aloud, at last, as I
marveled in the benignity of my
Lord. For imparting to me, the
liberal blessing of my life ...
and for giving me His
eternal...

Premium Member Snowflakes
Snowflakes float
Whimsically on the wind
	Drift
		Soar
			Fall
	Gentle merging of
		Terrestrial elements
Seeking
	Cosmic order of
		Patterned perfection
Children frolic with Frosty
	Making snowmen and
		Snow angels
Snowflakes melt
	Swept aside by
Busy wipers on
	Sliding cars on
		Slippery roads
With dizzy drivers
	Seeking stars and
		Sparkling moonbeams
On lonely roads
	In lonely lives
		Where snowflakes fall...

Premium Member Come and Gone
Once and never again
Once and to the end
Come and gone...
When my feet traveled on
Down a newfound road

Carrying me along
Hitching and hiking
The busy highways
Rushing and fast paced
Straight and narrow
With nothing to see
It was more about
The destination then
And not the...

Return to me oh fickle son
while your mother weeps

search on for call of the Jay
though elusive Cardinal sleeps

the roads took me back
to voiced memory fair

though flesh substance lack
red ribbons of flowing hair

I a begger have not an ounce
for those unwitting palms

yet rule of law denounce
except...
