Snowflakes

Snowflakes float Whimsically on the wind Drift Soar Fall Gentle merging of Terrestrial elements Seeking Cosmic order of Patterned perfection Children frolic with Frosty Making snowmen and Snow angels Snowflakes melt Swept aside by Busy wipers on Sliding cars on Slippery roads With dizzy drivers Seeking stars and Sparkling moonbeams On lonely roads In lonely lives Where snowflakes fall

Thanks, Bobby. You're ahead of the game. I didn't write my first poem until I was 17. Keep at it. Mel

Mel, this is lovely; even though we are trying to dig ourselves out of a foot and a half of snow over ice, it still makes me happy. Lovely lovely lovely!
