Roads

Only one road leads to heaven Though many roads lead to hell That’s a fact I can’t hold back It’s also one I know real well When it comes to taking roads Know that I have taken my share At the end of the ones that lead to hell I learned there is truly nothing there So if you’re searching for empty And you want to feel a lot of despair Jump on in swim through some sin Lose all those who ever did care But always remember the other road The one road that’s sunny and bright Hopes never lost just pay the cost And let your soul embrace the light

All those roads I know all too well, each one of them sent me on a road through hell...but, I have faith & hope I'm on the right road now. Great write Michael. Reminds me of the poem 'The Road Less Taken'

loved this poem and so heartwarming and true, except there is one road to hell. we may go through hell here on earth and their is lots of roads to go there. but the one and only hell there is only one road, refuse Jesus Christ when you die and it's hell you go. but i think you really knew that all ready.

The road less travel came to my mind as I read this piece. Narrow the path that leads to righteousness and broad is the road that leads to destruction. After reading your piece I am move by you and your words. This put me into the right frame of mind. Thanks for all your wonderful comments..they are well appreciated..it keeps me going...Chris

Michael, This poem caught at my heart..Ime looking down a couple of roads right now..hope I choose the right one. Your poem kind of reminds me of Robert Frost..and his road not taken. My hopes for you..endless sunny roads..with maybe a couple turnouts to keep you listening. BG
