Best Richer Poems
Next time you venture out and it's pouring down with rain
Spare a thought for the less fortunate before you complain
Be grateful that you can see and feel its natural beauty
Those who are sight impaired will never see what you see.
Listening to loud claps of thunder that boom in the sky
Hearing sweet music or your newborn's first cry
Those with hearing impairment will never hear those sounds
Or the soothing sounds of nature that everywhere abounds.
We take for granted a walk in the woods or a stroll on a beach
But for the less able these things are way out of their reach
Or cycling along a country lane that many of us can do
Disability for many means they're not mobile like you.
Life often throws up problems and things don't go our way
But there are many others who face huge problems every day
Many overcome their disabilities and are a great inspiration
So, look on the bright side when faced with a difficult situation
So, if you can offer help to someone do so if you can
Make someone's day be it a child, woman, or man.
It has often been said that your well-being is your wealth
You are richer than you know if you've got excellent health.
So many crooks like old Madoff
From trusting folks they get paid off
The economy fell
Yet their pockets still swell
and as for me, I am laid off
They know all the loop holes for the IRS
Elaborate parties, tuxedoes and women in their 5,000 dollar dresses
A cardboard box, another statistic for the homeless
A corporate exec did a downsize today
The car repossessed, the house taken away
Sometimes reality is a person's real life movie of horror
The rich get richer, the poor get poorer
Some have never known to go to sleep without a meal
Our government turns a blind eye does not want to see what's real
America's rich worried about the homeless overseas
The poor get spitted in their faces by those wealthy celebrities
A billionaire wouldn't even foot the taxes for the cars she gave away
Never forget where you came from, you may have to return there someday
All the rich have a gold key to the IRS's back door
They know all the loop holes for the IRS
Elaborate parties, tuxedoes and women in their 5,000 dollar dresses
A cardboard box, another statistic for the homeless
A corporate exec did a downsize today
The car repossessed, the house taken away
Sometimes reality is a person's real life movie of horror
The rich get richer, the poor get poorer
Some have never known to go to sleep without a meal
Our government turns a blind eye does not want to see what's real
America's rich worried about the homeless overseas
The poor get spitted in their faces by those wealthy celebrities
Richer than rich!

Has football gone completely mad!
A sport of all now to be had!
Boys and girls play it today.
I wonder, is it for the pay?
Talk is now, if one does go.
To China, that’s overseas, you know.
If here you have made your name.
There you would be one of fame.
I mean a million pounds every week!
No doubt one will work, so to speak.
But kicking an air filled ball.
Ain’t worth one million pounds at all!
Still, if I was offered a payment so.
Off I would blinking go.
I’d write a verse every day!
Rest of the time I’d count me pay.

Labour of hate
Turn on the heating
It’s getting cold
Why do we shiver?
Just because we’re old
It’s Kier’s labour, who wants us all to die
Said he liked pensioners just another lie
Another lie
Angels are calling
Is this the end
We are elderly
No family or friends
Can’t pay for heating or any of our bills
While Rayner’s cheating, fingering the tills
In the tills.
Reeves bills are paid for
But she’s a millionaire
Rayner is raving
She doesn’t care
Release the sausages, where is his brain
Paying a photographer, Rayner’s so vain
Is so vain
Take all our money
With inheritance tax
Charlie didn’t pay his
He can now relax
Rich becoming richer, Starmer leads the pack
Free clothes and glasses stabbed us in the back
In the back.

And
wealth
is nought but
a doorway opened
by the few; for some it
leads to life and happy ever
afters, for most it paves the path
to sorrow, regret and acceptance that
their lives cannot be truly measured by the
number of zeroes in ones account, but by the pluses
The dazzling sun outside on the rise
The doctor through his teeth lies
Cause of death, a newly crowned virus
Making fools of the best of us
They know little; we know a little less
Whatever got us into this fine mess?
A dysfunctional health system gone awry
Our people, in the sun, to fry
The ruling class to the rescue quick
To broker deals for the sick
They came out richer and how
After milking dry, the donor cow
Schools closed, small enterprises too
The official crisis response we rue
The epidemic out of control rages
Midst our plunging wages
Greener
cobalt skies, sun
and redbird songs we missed
when flowers are back, so fragrant
and dreamy butterflies waft in splendor
in budding days of renewal.
Emerging beautiful
awaited long,
Greener

Who would not desire coffers of gold,
Own sapphires and diamonds to wear on a ring.
Have emeralds and rubies and lustrous white pearls
For the pleasure of owning beautiful things.
But gemstones and gold mean nothing to me
For that which I treasure dims all the above,
Richer am I, than any man living
For who could be richer, than he who has love.
I heard a worried smelly coppering
Once I said engaged and nickeling
The Richer poor get richer
Unrest- unrest- unrest
The rich get richer the poor stay poor
Nothing left
All's been spent
Only this
And a reservation
Hush
What a gold rush
Do you like silver cadets
It's a rich get richer the poor stay poor
They're stood a guided gold plated stand
By brought such sorrow
To richer poor gets richer
Tohat preventative preventative cushion
I felt compelled to sniff the elements
I threw my silver spoon upon the floor
The surplus standbys storing
I crave the proactive precious plus gold rush
Set I think of kil
Death shall bring assets
Which I whom discovered the reserve
The richer gets richer the poor stays poor

A lass thus dressed half-brash with gown that touched
The edges of my seeing eye ablush.
This richer wine of green, bedeviled beast —
Yes, all her fault unraveled tongue, my speech.
An inch of time opened the myriad
Of seasons...the best of solar systems —
The creaking door alarming with her eyes.
Divine, this emerald city. I’m lost
Between her thighs (she knows not yet). Those eyes!
Oh lovely catlike eyes - the crescent gems
Beguile this slave. Her gown with chains of green.
Hark all! Look away men...her curls do hiss.
Like a seaman at siren’s call, there’s fear —
But no recall of land nor maiden’s face.
The ghostlike mist of Northern lights, her hem.
I’m stitched just right, a ratchet gear of knees.

Crystal meth, crank and speed.
Making drug pushers rich.
Drugs no one needs.
But some do.
Now.
They have to have it.
Caffeine pills and high energy drinks are bad enough
Getting hooked on crystal meth, crank or speed,
Making drug pushers rich,
And making families sad.
Drugs that ruin people.
Taking away their potential.
Why don’t we legalize them?
So we can wean the addicted off, and
Drug pushers will have to move somewhere else to get rich?
What is long adds more
and large portion of huge slice
to its measurement.

They don’t care
If I can
Get out
Or not
I’m poor
But I’m
Not any
More
Now I’m
Jail rich
