Growing apart instead of growing together
Written By Dean Masciarelli

Growing apart instead
of growing together
With the one person that meant
everything and more to you
Is truly saddening
And it is difficult to weather
Especially when a gravitational
pull starts pulling at your spirits
Taking the two of you in
completely different directions
But unfortunately instead of
living with a partner
that you used to know so well
that you loved with every
ounce of your heart and soul
It's like living with a room mate
Because you have grown
apart from each other
And when you reach that point
When you are no longer able
to communicate with each other
It literally breaks your heart
And that’s when reality
hits you in the head
Because you know that
the relationship is dead
And you start living
two separate lives
And no matter how hurtful it can be
and how painful it is
you have to try and remain optimistic
So that you can stay focused
on each day as it comes
And that is the only
thing that you can do
Because it will take you some
time before you can
actually heal after it is all over
And that alone can truly be heartbreaking
Especially when you had hopes and dreams
that the relationship would last forever
May you meet new people who will expand your life.
Allow me to help lift your burdens when they feel heaviest.
Teach and share the meaning of caring unconditionally.
Let my words cause a smile, or laughter, once in awhile,
and somehow help you believe in things unseen,
by expanding your heart like never before,
so you remain optimistic in spite of it all.
My cogitations after learning about THE 27 CLUB*:
Confronted with secrets of existence
My soul strives to remain optimistic
As I resolve what seems enigmatic
Trusting God, anchored on faith’s persistence.
Here am I, seeking the Lord’s instruction
Cognizant that His way** is always best
Through the Holy Ghost’s blessed guiding zest
Expressed by the Scriptures’ revelation.
Midst survival-battle of puzzling bouts
My spirit finds sure victory in Christ
Vanquishing unbelief, wisdom-sufficed
While secured by His truth against doubts
Thankful for divine vision, glowing bright
My heart rests and basks in the Saviour’s love
Surmounting dilemmas with peace above
Sharing gift*** of life along heaven’s light.
*The 27 Club includes popular musicians, artists, actors, and other celebrities who died at age 27,[7] often as a result of drug and alcohol abuse or violent means such as homicide, suicide, or transportation-related accidents.
**John 14:6 of the King James Bible (Words in bold complete the assertion of Jesus Christ).
***Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Looking for love in any place possible,
But knowing where your limitations can lead.
You try to remain optimistic,
Hoping not for too much.
But all your hopes.
Settling can lead to nightmares,
And forcing love is not right either.
Some make it as if love is like a lottery ticket,
With the hopes that luck and hope will bring you to that girl.
I am not saying it to be insensitive,
Just experience.
There are many times many people wonder,
“Why cannot love come to me?”
I ask the same question,
I wish for a room could be filled for all the single people in the world.
And you could match them to the same specifications,
But until then, singles will wander the world.
Looking for someone to be connected with.
MORAL VALUES
You Require TRUTHFULNESS and HONESTY
No need to act strictly religious
Not to be rude but run on MODESTY.
And always stick to be RIGHTEOUS.
Have feelings for needy and the distressed.
Don’t be selfish trying to flinch or to funk.
Treat earnest with your COURAGE and KINDNESS.
Offer your LOVE and HELP ! Don’t let them sunk.
Act analytic being RATIONAL.
Never give up, remain OPTIMISTIC.
SELF -CONFIDENCE is your basic moral.
Don’t allow stagnancy, go DYNAMIC.
Respect Universal Moral Values.
Implement in your life : Patent’s views.

The 12 things you’ll teach your child
Contest by Matt Caliri
To vanish from this impious era i
mind less
conceivably recognised as a vain
guest
To the toiled years i duly reminisce
as futility proved my paramount
best
To this world i pleaded with a wail
upon my arrival on its terrain
To serve me right till my departure
but this it did did in miniature
To this world i pledged my
prospective days
but this it shattered in various ways
To my exertion i'll personally extol
if no being cites and applauds my
effort
To another realm
i'll get deposed unceremoniously
To what awaits me in the
subsequent world beyond
i remain optimistic
To the fatalists i now resign
as their belief obvioused in my
instance
To this notion i duly adhere
perhaps my irrelevancy would be
remedied at death
Seeking therapy for my self created problem,
Antidepressants to help deal with the pain of all that's ever happened,
Now no place to call home.
I think and think of what I've done wrong,
But did I really do anything wrong to get me where I am today?
Is being honest a crime so that I would be cast out of house and lives?
All the while suffering and despair cloud my mind,
I can't make a rational decision to save my life.
The one that I love does not love me anymore,
I do not know if I've really changed that much,
the perception of what I say and do has.
My future is uncertain and it's hard to think about anything else.
I desire to be loved and in my struggle return that love for which I hope one
person will have for me.
How long till I can feel this?
Hoping any decision I make will not be scrutinized due to opinion.
Wishing that all this pain and suffering of being separated from my wife and child
will cease.
This paradox unfortunately is reality.
Created not just by myself but also by the one I love.
Event horizon to a singularity sucking all life and thoughts from what I am.
What can I do to end this turmoil?
So much life and beauty in this world.
So much death and destruction in this world.
Craving to be content and happy at the same time seems to be so far fetched at
this point in my life.
Yet I must do what I can to remain optimistic.
Oh sun, oh moon, oh stars and mother earth I beg you to take me back to the
origin of all creation.
That I might become a drop of dew or a cloud in the sky or a snowflake.
Recycled, recirculated but never feeling dead inside. At least being these I never
cease to exist for all know who I am.
But now it seems, all that I've shared my life with, want to forget me.
And being forgotten is better than not existing at all.

Like a scene from "Star Trek"
our ships head off to Mars
We are moving
rapidly towards our goal
The mission may not succeed
However - we remain optimistic
Our ships move on the
wavelengths
set by the solar clock
Are you ready to begin
the journey?
Our eyes know when
they should be opened
If you wish you can
make it through the
day
Without
fear of dangerous asteroids
or equally dangerous
solar winds
which blow eternally
in the dark, black
VOID
Hester P Goldman was a loving woman, a friendly, good-looking, happy to please-you-woman.
The kind of woman you would take on vacation, and let sit in the car.
Having grown up in a loving home, she could not understand why a child would run away from their home.
The kind of woman you would like to read a book to.
Could not visualize how world has changed. She had stayed inside for years, had groceries delivered.
The kind of woman you never saw garden.
Hester P. Godman did not watch the news as it terrified her She refused to look at a newspaper.
The kind of woman who could remain optimistic.
She died in her sleep yesterday, peacefully, happily, not knowing how crazy America is now.
Not caring.
Not one whit.
Believing Eisenhower was still president.

You're in a rush
To take us all in a flush
Without taking a break
That's your take
To wipe us
All just because you're a virus
Since you appear
I live in fear
Now I'm quarantined
To be screened
And if I'm not infected
I'm definitely affected
A pandemic
Once an epidemic
The economy is still
But not according to our will
A contagious infection
Asking for God's intervention
For as long as I live I remain optimistic
Though nowhere to hide I won't be pessimistic
But wait for a vaccine because I know
it's not far from tomorrow
Remember that you are loved. You are worthy. You are not alone. Take care and stay safe.
Memories from 2020:
There are many people struggling with the seemingly hopeless situation that they are in. The pandemic has just piled on the pressure to existing challenges.
There's so much focus on trying to remain optimistic and the shame of not being grateful enough just to be alive. Especially as many people are worse off. Ultimately, however, we each have a choice. And living a life of quality is certainly preferable to merely existing.
I've employed the words uttered by Christ on the cross before He died. It is the juxtaposition of His worthy death against our unworthiness. In dying, may salvation be found for all.
I do hope that anyone who is struggling is able to get the help and support they need, and that someone or something will give them hope for a better tomorrow.
Take care and best wishes.
It is finished

I have died in stages.
Despite everything, I have tried to cling to hope that this existence will cease to be painful and bleak.
My fingernails are bleeding.
I've been holding on too long.
I let go and the last stage is set.
I am free now.
The shell echoes its last gasp of sorrow
and is quiet for good.
The angels take away my soul.
It is finished. At last the pain is gone.

Fluffy bunnies with feet so cold.
The winter ice is chilling your soles.
Beautiful to admire, but a difficult time
You look for things to nibble on.
You have internal instinct things will get better
Spring will arrive with daffodils and tulips.
You hold out for this time, keeping yourself optimistic.
Trying to enjoy the gorgeous landscape of nothingness.
May the miracles keep coming

Life is challenging
For millions of us
Some days we wonder
If we're going to make it through
But there's this miracle
That happens for each soul
When the sun rises again
Every single morning
Even when we feel
We have zero control
We can remain optimistic
We can focus on faith and hope
So, take it one moment at a time
Take it second by second
You might feel overwhelmed
But in each experience is a blessing
As you work through the confusion
As you conquer every new obstacle
The insurmountable is overcome
Your self-confidence keeps growing
And this little flame of hope
This little light of joy
This spark of inspiration
Creates a synergy and awe
Your soul feels calmer and stronger
Your well-being is restored
You're empowered to be your best self
And you know you're ready for more
You deserve so much love and happiness
You deserve to feel that life is great
May the miracles keep coming
May you find your true path and elation

Throughout the adventures of creation,
We've seen diversion and parity abound.
Allowing rhyme and reason to co-exist peacefully,
While we all rummage through the lost and found.
The journey has lent itself to misunderstanding,
As structure and status confused many along the way.
Since the latticework for some would be hierarchal,
Mutual support among a team was seen to play.
Historically, we've seen foundational fractures,
As divergent fuels feed frustration and fear.
Because some views could see better or worse than,
Instead of simply different, evolving every year.
This road continues to wind and appear lengthy,
With few rest stops, both far and in between.
Allowing humanity a brief glimpse of the horizon,
Hopefully moving forward, to avoid the obscene.
Caution may be constant and persistent, though
The benefits are often shallow or extreme.
Yet my vision will remain optimistic, that we
Can be different, as well as, equal in this dream.
