Manoa Rejoices

Children growing up
in outstretched valley arms:
Misty skies, I cry

My song of praise ascends:

"The Lord kills and brings to life;
he brings down to Sheol
and raises up . . . he lifts
the needy from the ash heap . . .

but the wicked shall be cut off
in darkness . . . against them
he will thunder in heaven . . .
There is none holy like the Lord . . .
my strength is exalted in him."

I will carry Samuel's coat to Shiloh,
stitches of love spell joy;
my heart dances with delight.
My son grows in stature,
his service is unto the Lord.

My tormentor's tongue is stilled,
she eats defeat day after day.
Her downcast eyes look
past my sons and daughters.

The Lord has opened my womb.

I Samuel, Chapter 2, RSV

The Gaza of Africa Rejoices In Ruins

I mourn for the Gaza of Africa stripped naked
Innocent women, children regret being alive
Cities, villages sit in ruins with broken bones
Vehicles sleep with broken backs, burnt bellies
But anger rages as the powers make statements

This offer of a city in ruins in the Horn of Africa
Extended by the hands of the kind-hearted
To the outsider it’s a myth being manufactured
Liars, conspirators, power addicts smile it away
But historians pen it down for immortality

Mogadishu is the modern Gaza of Africa
Transported from Mediterranean shores in a dream
Now lies with broken vertebral column at the Horn
Innocent souls that mourn each day pray for mercy
In the synagogues and mosques of their hearts

When will Gaza of Africa ever reap from mercy?
Who will be the savior of Gaza of Africa?
Which weapon will eliminate hate in Gaza land?
Bombs, AK 47 forces the Gaza to rejoice in ruins
Gaza, Gaza, Gaza why is peace so elusive?

The heart that hates and destroys the innocent
Fingers that are trigger happy in once joyful land
The powerful that see business in blood-shedding
May the guiding stars descend on their path
To direct them to the city the savoir will be born

Gaza of Africa may your tears germinate mercy×2

Mayhem mondern-day mayhem-
merely considering if but once the pious... .

Summer-rains threatening-
happy-day clouds-lume, plume-billow... .

Undivided-faith;
open-fledgling-boasts-of both, this...
having considered but-if only-once... .

Opportunity-embraces-grace,
grace... the-chance... .

Love;

rejoices... !

Oh-love, brotherhood,
God-man-grace,
they dance,
joy--it-sings... .

Enlightened hearts-defiled,
once-shame piercing, chaining, relentless,
endless-it seaming, eternity... !

Faith, hope enchanting,
delighting,

""hold-on child, "please... !""

Oh-yes-knowing,
peace-leads the-soul, to-open;
remain, in-the questing... !

God's devotion-abiding,
cleansing;
oh-love, the-brotherhood-of man;
grace, together-they-dance,
joy-singing,

chanting... yes,
for all-eternity... !

Oh-the Glory-the Glory... yes... !

God; His mercy... !

Heaven Rejoices

The kinda guy a girl
dreams about
It's within those
dreams I found you
One who will take
away all doubt
The only one who
would be true

You make my stars
twinkle up above
Making the angels
sing their song
Showing me a
perfect kinda love
Letting me feel
it's not wrong

The winds bow to
you my king
The breezes are
envious of your flow
This what we share
no normal thing
Undying love all I
want to ever show

The moon's beams
smile upon us
For he kept me
warm at night
He never liked my
life as it was
His beams cupped
my face each night

Now the heavens
rejoice at our paring
They made every
planet align right
That day made our
souls so caring
Perfection, that we
will hold so tight

Heaven Rejoices Over Us

How we live our lives really matters most,
For heaven’s gaze is fixed with deep concern.
Eternal issues rise - a sacred host -
And from our choices, timeless truths we learn.

It matters to all who stand dear and nearby,
Especially those who love and look to us.
We are charged to live godly, not just try,
With hearts full of obedience and trust.

In presence of all heaven, we constantly stand,
For He makes winds His messengers in flight,
And flames of fire His servants by command.
All heaven watches us, both day and night.

So let our light before all brilliantly shine,
That cosmos sees - and glorifies His Name.

Premium Member Jesus Rejoices Over All Who Repents

God has sent down to earth
His gospel message of salvation
through the person of Jesus His son
what a wonderful happy occasion

For God saw man had fallen
into sinfulness so very great
only Jesus could rescue him
from this hell-bound awful state

Jesus's call was for repentance
for man to turn away from sin
and turn back to God's glorious way
receiving grace forever to win

Jesus now lives in heaven
interceding for those of His elect
up there, there's so great rejoicing
when sinners are no longer in debt

What a smile on Jesus's face
when His power is on display
bringing redemption to His saved
who repent to find God's way

(Having written this when considering when would Jesus smile when here on earth, this is my evidence that he would.)

Many voices

I was delighted in reading many voices, Those voices were stated by various poets, Their poems made me and readers to rejoices,
Whether it might be a haiku, limerick or sonnets.
Daffodils,a lyric was written by Wordsworth, He highlighted the importance of nature for human, The sacrifice of young French soldier on the earth, illustrated by Browning as war was an act of inhuman.
John keats warned against the evil power of fondness
in his poem Labelle Belle Dame Sans Merci,a ballad, All the world's a stage was written by Shakespeare's sharpness, That the world was a stage, humans were the actors, he added.
We should fulfill our duties before our demise,
Conveyed by Frost in Stopping by woods on a snowy evening, Milton sought to justify the ways of God to men live in his Paradise Lost,an epic poem of grieving.
H.W.Longfellow's poem was A Psalm of Life, He dramatized the conflict between life and death, Whitman explored the individual self and the world life,
A Noiseless patient spider,a poem of longer breath.
Poetry served as a tool for societal transformation, The poets shaped a cultural identity through their art, They roused individual's awareness of the truth of a nation, We have to read their works and explore themes by heart.

Premium Member My Soul Rejoices In the Lord Everyday

(Swap Quatrain)

My heart everyday, in the Lord rejoices too
Because without Him, I wouldn't last a day
God wants all the time, to walk with me
In the Lord rejoices too, my heart everyday

Every morning when the sun glows, I open my eyes
And send all my praises to God above high
The Lord wipes all my tears away, yes, I know
I open my eyes, every morning when the sun glows

It doesn't matter to God and that's so, what in the past I've done
Jesus forgives me when I repent and then my sins are just gone
God is my loving Dad, and yes that in my heart I already know
What in the past I've done, it doesn't matter to God and that's so!
