The light in your eyes Hit the prism of my soul And scattered into a spectrum Of a million colors A slow vibration And then a similar wave of energy Passed between us As our fingers touch I am transformed And we travel to other places The taste of your lips Channels instant connection And I don't want to leave this place Your luminescence streams Through your fingers and toes And through the ends of your hair The continual glow keeps me warm As I take you in my arms You make me feel infinite Like I could live on forever I tremble in my subtle weakness But you are there to comfort me You shelter me with your love And I protect you under my wings You make me all that I am No one else could make me feel this way
