Rebuild Anew

“Rebuild anew”, he says to me.
The one of stillness ‘neath the sea.
“Rise to the shore; as one we stand.
This hardened castle borne of sand
conceals your darkest memory.”

A lone wolf blows with certainty
to shatter hollow masonry.
Destruction steadied by still hand.
Rebuild anew.

I crave only tranquility.
Erase these tortures mindlessly.
My heart is still; my mind profound.
Upon the rock I claim this ground
to reinvent my destiny.
Rebuild anew.

Let's Rebuild Jamaica

Take me back to the days of old,
And rich legacy that worth more than gold.
It took an entire village to raise a child,
Where they were free to roam and be wild.
The rivers and streams were free of pollution,
And the white sand beaches were for the citizens of the nation.
Now our people have been denied access
And our island home has become a big mess.
Politicians hungry for power so they lie and cheat,
While poor Jamaicans suffer great defeat.
Cost of living on the rise as we bear the brunt of a cruel regime,
And there's a deafening silence despite the scream.
Crime has infested every nook and cranny,
And our safety lies in the hands of those who fuel tyranny.
Our nation is on the verge of being nonexistent,
And the voices of of people will echo the same sentiment.
Modern day heroes and heroines arise with power,
Let's unite and take back our country together.
Now is not the time to wallow in self pity,
But to join forces and rebuild our society.
A nation poised for greatness with our talents and creativity,
As we change our mindset and go forward with integrity.
We will not be a slave to our past but be resilient like our ancestors,
As we call our citizens to action to rebuild Jamaica.

Friendships Are Easy To End Hard To Rebuild

Friendship’s Are Easy to End…
 Hard To Rebuild!

When it comes to friendships,
many are quick to “end it.”
I seldom see very few that try to “rebuild it.”

A harsh word said. An angry thought spoken.
Can often cause many friendships
 to be broken!

Scripture says; “be quick to listen.” “Slow to speak.”
May we speak God’s grace each day of the week.

A broken friendship can cause feelings of anger.
And soon, our “ex-friend.” becomes a “stranger.”

God will not give you a trophy
 for those you’ve “un-friended.”
May you ask for his love to have your
 hearts “amended.”

Broken friendship can have
 many repercussions.
Often leading to gossip and
 back-biting discussions.

May we seek God’s forgiveness
 to come back together.
May his love be the glue that
 binds you forever!

Life is too short to end a friendship.
The person you left, could be going through a hardship!

May the peace and love of Christ bind us as one!
And bring a healing to every parent,
daughter and son!

Crush Rebuild

I think I have a crush because I
never felt such a rush,
Time and time I been let down, I
always found myself on the
rebound,
My life has been a living hell but
when I saw you my crush rebuild,
My life has changed drastically But
because of you I feel complete,
When you kiss my lips their so soft
and sweet, when you hold me I can’t
retreat,

I know we don’t know each other
that much but hey it’s just a crush;
I know there’s thing that are
blocking the way but believe in me
an the crush we change, I kind of
know the way you feel but time will
tell I just know it will,
I don’t know does that make me
sound cheap to have a crush on a
one way street, trying to
make this a two way thing,

I often close my eyes and image
that everything right but time flies
by and leave me paralyzed,
Thinking of this crush I have on you
hoping that someday I can make it
true I'm always come
back to the crush you made because
that’s the day my life was remade.

Rebuild

Demolish what you own.
Strive to achieve.
The seemingly impossible,
An instinct or intrigue.
Keep inhibitions aside.
Work for a need.
Ends justify means.
Afloat isn't a feat.

Rebuild the Fallen

Please!
Change me from the inside out
Please!
I feel my heart falling apart
I’m begging on my knees
I feel these demons controlling me

Day by day
I fall
Deeper and deeper
Night by night
I dig my own grave
And I cry out
God I need you now!

Thank God
I never get what I deserve
Thank God
We don’t get what we deserve
The scandal of grace
You died in our place
The power of the cross
You gave me what you lost
A love I could never earn
I was lost at every turn

Blinded by such
Perfect love
Taken back by
The glory above
How could someone love me
Like you do
I’ve been the scum of the earth
Since the moment of birth
Amongst the devil’s lies
You saw the potential inside

Thank God
I never get what I deserve
Thank God
We don’t get what we deserve
The scandal of grace
You died in our place
The power of the cross
You gave me what you lost
A love I could never earn
I was lost at every turn

I want to live for you
Forever
I want you to be
My every endeavor
Without you I’m nothing
I need to be something
Something more than this
Craving heaven’s bliss
You came to
Rebuild the Fallen
Even amongst the ones
Forgotten

Thank God
I never get what I deserve
Thank God
We don’t get what we deserve
The scandal of grace
You died in our place
The power of the cross
You gave me what you lost
A love I could never earn
I was lost at every turn

This Old House

In this house, I am swimming
  in a mud puddle, somedays
with my arms tight around you
       We backstroke
In my house there is dust
     settled overtop the daily cares
  swept aside in conversations
as we laugh with grit
In my house, old is being replaced
new life is felt with each layer
    hammered, drilled, cut, painted over
      awakening new with each day
In my house, I dreamed this
planned and prayed for years thus
and when the hand was given
I reached boldly forward....

Resilience

Yes, you have fallen.
It felt like a defeat.
In time, you realize
You still have the breath of life.
Calamity has no victory.
What felt like an enormous blow
Brought you to your knees.
Determination fills your bones,
Resilience, your soul.
Broken, but not shattered,
Injured, but surviving,
Gather every ounce of life you have,
Take a deep breath,
Say a silent prayer and
Proceed!

Your strength will be meager.”—Proverbs 24:10

Rebuild

Rebuild

what is the point in rebuilding
stalling the calling of the wild
condensations of nature
people in high stature
computers used in recognition
times change
frame the claim of pics
illicit meanings
feeding the fire
rotten attitude
discretion
lost ambition
wishing that someone would arrive in this place
frank Sinatra playing tunes from crooners
abused used
fallow merry hollow places
drips crypts
deciphers the fact
risen to rescission
rebuild and receive

Rebuild

Oh what a mighty wave
Rising above the horizon
It came down crashing into my life
And washed me clean

Rebuild With You

It's from the ground up, that we have to rebuild. Because our love is not dead but the trust has been killed. It's blood was spilled and it was laid to rest. So how do you rebuild, when no trust is left? I guess you have to start over, forgive and forget. Let go of the hurt, pain and regret. Because nobody's perfect and we all make mistakes. Some more than others, some bruise and some break. Some less than most. But I'll do what it takes. To start over a new, and wipe clean the slate. Because sometimes you're wounded. Sometimes you escape. But it's never too soon, to fix what you break. Its never too soon, but sometimes too late. So why take the chance when there's so much at stake? Why would you risk it or leave it to fate? It just doesn't make sense, it carries no weight. I don't understand, there's too much red tape. Boundaries were broken, in a promises wake. But it doesn't seem right, to hold onto guilt. Life is too short and we're born without stilts. So what once was even, begins to tilt. And falling apart, was all that we built. Tho your love for me was at full capacity, my love for you was all but absentee. And that for me, was my worst mistake. But never again, will I eat my cake. Never again, will i have it too. Because all that I want, is to rebuild with you.

Rebuild Your Border

My heart goes weary; shrinking,
I can't think right.
My thoughts float sinking,
It won't go filming delight.
When all we build for all,
Break into pieces and flew in dust.
We wish but it is time for rebirth!

The inner dinner of the believer,
Is a threat to standard.
The outer doubter of the sinner,
Is a blessing to substandard!
When all we build for all,
Break into pieces and flew in dust.
We wish but it is time for rebirth!

Washing all hearts should become our aim;
In all words, acts are more of success
Crying with kindled souls turned a wailing game;
In all acts, words are more of distress.
When all we build for all,
Break into pieces and flew in dust.
We wish but it is time for rebirth!

Comfort cleanse depression,
Without traces of GUISE.
StaIwart brings impression,
Beyond shadows of DYES.
When all we build for all,
Break into pieces and flew in dust.
We wish but it is time for rebirth!

Now, we will please His WAYS,
Despite all our natures.
Then, we won't remove His BAIZE,
No matter how hard to bear a nomenclature.
When all we build for all,
Break into pieces and flew in dust.
We shall at will go for rebirth!

Hallelujah! He nailed himself this  the cross;
For us, He endured the BEING loss.
Hosanna! He embraced all the wounds;
Not a single curse, His efforts are been crowned.
Yet, for us are his pains,
To make sure we are ordained.
Lest, we may not have the gains.

Unto all is a life and its style,
Be ye man or woman.
Unto all is choice and its cost,
Be ye strong or weak.
Yet, for us are His pains,
To make sure we are ordained.
Lest, we may not have the gains.

Don't be afraid of their smiles,
The enemies of great Aaron.
Rather, be joyous that they defrost,
Hence, doors of pretence freak.
Yet, for us are His pains,
To make sure we are ordained.
Lest, we may not have the gains.

He standout as the only One,
Pleading at the right hand of God
Despite our betrayals like Simeone,
He cares for all against every odd.
Happy to know you are willing...
Gracious you, should not lean on SELF.
Be open and call for His help killing...
Every hindrance knowledge binds on shelf.

As gentle as summer rain,

Your love refreshed me.

Time was spent, memories built, secrets shared;

Until one night we lost our grip on love’s translucent game.

As fragile as a crystal glass our new love shattered as it fell from our grasp.

Too soon we tried to touch it, hold it, claim it, as our own.

Too soon for it was much too new and better left alone.

You sorted pieces that were yours and I those that were mine;

Neither of us dared to touch the fragments left behind.

I watched you walk away with yours,

And there I sat with mine.

Tomorrow?

We might start anew to rebuild what we’ve lost.

For if we leave ourselves with only fragments of what might have been,

We’ll never taste the cool sweet wine

that would have filled the glass within.
