Kissing Lips

Kisses kisses, Christmas wishes…

Underneath the mistletoe,

Kiss me high, kiss me low;

Read my lips with your fingertips…

Dip me in wine as we combine,

Show me yours, I’ll show you mine…

In the back seat of Santa’s sleigh,

Let’s enjoy the festive foreplay.

Premium Member Panders at the Zoo

The Panders have come to the Washington Zoo.
They’ve got much to say, but near none of it’s true.
Those cute little panderers, both black and white,
make appeals to the left and concede to the right.
They’ll give you down payments and not tax your tips.
Like the Bush lied to Moses and said, “Read my lips!”
They can’t help their lies or the oaths they are takin’,
Such a cute little orange one, and the cuddly Jamaican.
The border, evictions, and the free car loans of course;
I could go on for stanzas, not to beat a dead horse.
“The end of democracy!” if you don’t vote;
they’ll promise a shirt while they’re taking your coat.
Yes, the Panders have come to the Washington Zoo,
tossing nuts through the bars to me and to you.

My Most Unfortunate Job Selling Lsd

I’m excited, I got a job
I now work for Bob Bob’s Gob Shop
They asked me to stand outside and sell
These white packets, of what I cannot tell

But I was shifting the goods a hundred an hour
I felt alive excited and empowered
Mothers and fathers were buying off me
And giving their kids, who named the stuff LSD

I didn’t hear it clearly at first,
Until I was arrested and that’s when I feared the worst
The police took me to their van
God only knows I tried to run and then… Man,

I got the tasered,
And did a twenty-five second bad imitation of Bob Marley crossed with Jo Fraser
They called me a dope peddler
An addict enforcing meddler

The cops tasered me again and beat me up
Then left me laying in a pile, yelping like a helpless pup
Then took me to a room with a table that had a pile of white powder,
And three inch black sticks they called hash, my mouth went sour.

They questioned me further demanding who was my supplier
As they kept me dancing at the end of the taser wire
I screamed Bob and Bob of the Gob Shop
They stopped and said this must be their under cover job

Just then the chief of police walked in
He looked at me with that we gotcha grin
He took a bit of the white powder and put it on the tip of his tongue
Then with s surprised look as if he got stung

The chief of police quickly picked me up dusted me off and apologised
He said “Don’t worry sir, I’ll punish these guys”
One policemen said “But sir his a drug dealler, selling LSD?”
“How could you be willing to set him free”

The Chief shouted “YES THIS IS LSD, NOW READ MY LIPS”
“LIQUORICE SHERBET DIPS”

Well as a consolation, I got a house and a car out of them,
Never went back to that job again.

Wherever I Stand It Will Be My Holy Land

Wherever I stand,
It will be my holy land!
Wherever I stand,
It will be my holy land,
Listen to what I say,
And read my lips Friend!
The world has dramatically changed,
And became difficult to re-fix or amend!
The world of double B, Bush and Blair,
The just, the right became wrong and unfair,
But who would question it now or care?
This reminds of the first boar,
Their entire war machine,
And camel's **** and sand,
For what?
For a Bedouin, who can neither read?
Nor understand,
The ethos of civilised manners,
Of what was once the Arabian nights' land?
Now, if you are referring to tyranny,
I can feed you with a torrent of tyrants,
In the age of globalised plenty,
These are many here and there starting from you,
From where it all began,
From where you are now dictating and
From where you right now stand!
Uncle Sam made a partnership pact with Arabian Sheikhs,
And suddenly these unholy duos call each other ally and friend!
If you are after a might destruction,
Here you have Iraq, Libya,
And now Syria and Yemen,
Difficult to re-fix, or to amend,
And Afghanistan long before them,
Suffered, fell down to its knees and
Sunk into the bloody sand!
My brothers are not biological anymore,
My brothers are not genuine like before,
My true brothers are now those who stand
By me, firm and denounce, protest,
And shout hands in hand!
For peace, justice solidarity that may blend,
Into one world motto and convey the message
The mighty message, to the tribesmen,
The villager, the perceived enemy
And the friend!

Premium Member Valentine Codes For You

Can you read my lips?
My Sweet, keep it simple, still.

Can you read my arms?
To hold you, I’m going six feet under the ground.

Can you read my mind?
My girl- title is a lot for you,now the train is gone.

Can you read my hand?
So much for you are my tiniest finger, pointer and thumb.

Can you read and feel my heart?
From E to Y, for you it jumps and pumps.

Can you hear and feel me?
Satellite isn’t ahead of my fervor mental telepathy.

Can you really hear me?
If everything in me is mute on this Valentines Day?

If I’m mute and you’re blind,
Touch me, feel all my codes and you’ll find.

Sweetheart, have a Very Happy Valentines
I’m all yours today ‘til the end of time.

Political Quirks

Political Quirks
Political Quirks
why must we vote for
Political Jerks,

They say what you want
just for your vote,
can't we throw the lot of them
into a mote,

Political Quirks
Political Quirks
watch them on T.V.
with their political smirks,

Read my lips,or
let's be perfectly clear
some of their ideals
are perfectly *****,

Political Quirks
Political Quirks
don't use public restrooms
where a politico lurks

Happy Birthday Elvis
on the date of his death
they tell Political lies
with every draw of their breath

political Quirks
Political Quirks
the state of our Union
by Political Quirks!

Kiss

Read my lips.
With your lips.
They’re saying kiss,
Kiss me.
In the rain,
In the back of my car.
Read my lips that are saying,
Don’t break my heart.

It's a New Birthday

Another day calls for happy presence
Of all hearts on earth united by birth
Ticking off the alarm clock notice the card
It reads Joyous wishes…Happy Birthday
Smiles my eyes and read my lips
Taking a plunge into reminiscences
Of the birthdays when I was small
Added on the years and landed college
Friends and gatherings …pomp and show
Treat, treat noises all over the corridor
Nice feeler even when growing old
And now this phase of being “Big Girl”
Responsibilities along with some fun
Happy Birthday dear calls up my Mother
Being grown up takes far from parents
Move all on your own…go on, go on…
And…
Birthday showers afresh blessing again
From the home side and friends far gone.
Better half walks in with a flower
Rejoicing with the birthday song
Every birthday has its own charm
Even when growing old feeler calls
Still the pleasure blooming in heart
Phone rings cheering Happy Birthday
Journey of life reflects back in one take
Old memories do hit the road
Cakes, balloons and birthday cap
A day out with loved ones
Makes birthday…a happy one
This Birthday a more special indeed
Its first time with the partner for life
Feels like living not just survive
Birth-day gaining a new meaning
A surprise party and blissful time
Happy birthday…handed the gift …
of pure Love and more Life

If individually good enough to become a US president, what could they accomplish as collective and unified minds?
Are they not a treasure house of history, wisdom, and experience?
***********************************************************
*Mr. Carter(1976-80) He was a successful peanut farmer, and a Governor. Now, a brief condensed version of his 4 year presidency: Change the heart; Being born again; Tell no lies; Surprised at The Soviet Union for invading Afghanistan; Fought hard for peace in the Middle East and won the Noble Peace Prize, but lost the Peace; Iran: Could not bring the hostages home.

Away from the Oval Office, are they being utilized for the cause of peace?

Premium Member Playground Politics-Writer's Notes

playground politics

we zap and zip
read my lips
we hide and seek
from teacher's peek
on swings
we wing
on slides
we cried
marbles play
swords we flay
should i repeat
another beat
marbles play
swords we flay
never mind
what we find
king of the hill
jack and jill
story told
she was very bold
jill rode jack
on his back
right over there
under the stairs
we peered
like deer
we all hushed
behind a bush
it was all an act
that was a fact
two bunnies
rubbing tummies
that was it
don't have a fit
we are kids
yes we did
run the playground
round and round
dodge a ball
hide behind a wall
scrape a knees
fall on a bee
hide behind fatty
flirt with patty
hide a corner
there's a loner
hop scotch here
volleyball there
shoot some hoops
assemble troops
we are kids
yes we did
run the playground
round and round
yet get this
gee whiz
stars and stripes borne
teachers scorn
now they come out
to shout
their eyes
and voices chastise
what fools
no praying, too
we cuss
and fuss
we play
our way
yet they dread
if we bow our heads
is this
not preposterous
all i know politics seed
its ugly face bred

3/26/17-No rose again Note-Cyndi wrote in her critique (and I laugh at her) that it is demeaning to describe a child as fatty. Please. Can someone direct her and maybe the judges, too, to playground politics, anti bullying and the world that some of these kids face. It's called reality.Yes, they face this kind of ridicule everyday. It is sad. Yet would it be better to write a bunch of brown nose crap just to be politically correct? No. I just write what I see and feel, more of the pulse. No facade. And especially no artificiality that some here like to swim in.

Premium Member Bloviatin' Politicians

It ain't no wonder that in this nation consternation and confusion reigns!
From wily politicos from the prez on down we hear the same old refrains!
"I'll see that you git a new sewer system in town if you'll elect me, please!"
"Read my lips! I'll never raise yer taxes! I'll simply call 'em fees!"

Congress poured billions into the coffers of Chrysler and General Motors.
Never mind that they went agin the will of millions of American voters!
Behind closed doors Harry and Nancy managed to ravage medical care!
'Tis just a couple of examples of "change" that's left the treasury bare!

The prez can't manage things at home yet he sticks his nose in matters overseas.
Hey! You weren't elected President of the World so stick to domestics please!
Now he's meddlin' in state affairs tellin' 'em how to budget since they're broke.
Seems he has trouble balancin' the federal budget sans blowin' lots of smoke!

'Tis well known that politicians seem to have a congenital proclivity,
For spewin' with fork'ed tongue inane babble with audaciious creativity!
The nuances that they spin and the strange postures that they assume,
Leaves little doubt that poor Mister Webster lies a-spinnin' in his tomb!

Some gullible souls are charmed by what some politicians postulate.
Please spare me, Lord! I grow weary of hearin' them scoundrels bloviate!
Alas, they remind me of a catfish - they're all mouth with very little brains!
It ain't no wonder that in this nation consternation and confusion reigns!

A Letter To Love

May be I will meet you someday somewhere
you will fail to recognize my smile
I do not have to reply
Coj I know you will reply to me first
I will be waiting by that broken bench
You know I am peaceful
I don’t talk much
I speak when my pen speaks
You must have read my lips
I am journeying still
Recollecting words….
Words very common to one’s heart
I expect you will read these lines..
From……your dearest…..

Read the room and wind your scrawny neck in, Mr Putin
Mark my words, the West are gonna stick their size ten boot in
No-one here has fallen for your good-for-nothing plan
So pop your pacifier in and get back in your pram

Heed the world, the Bulldog and the mighty Uncle Sam
We’ve seen through your bravado, it’s all arrogance and sham
You brag about your weaponry to stifle our rebukes
But you won’t get your way by simply mentioning your nukes

For that's some twisted logic just to get what you desire
When if you blow the place apart and set its bones on fire
The only prize that you will win, as far as I can see
Is a massive crater where your hopes once used to be

There’s bullets with your name on, any one could leave you dead
Should a sniper plant one in the middle of your head
Perhaps a comrade soon will smear your door knob in the night
But read my lips you cretin, it ain’t gonna be Marmite

There is another option that you could attempt of course
Which is whipping off your shirt and then cavorting on a horse
You tried that once before and looked a proper numpty then
I have to say you’re looking like a numpty once again

Heart of Sod

I’m bleeding from the outside in
like a cup I’m filled to the brim
but I’m not bleeding blood, I’m bleeding gasoline
just so I can light a fire inside of me
my eyes are closed, I’m breathing heavily
lost inside, I’m paralyzed, am I ready
read my lips these will be my last words
they’ll be tattooed on your heart as third degree burns
leave the room, make sure you lock the door
I don’t want you to see me like this anymore
turn the heat up and walk away
write down every last word you've heard me say
“he who is drowned, is not bothered by the rain.”
Bellowed the last lamb the wolf hath slain
“The lamb, the hero.” the wolf cried to god
and etched the lamb’s final words into a heart of sod
