Prove It Rock Star - the 6th Street Series - Part 4

2:45 am

I set my case in the corner, empty the picks from my pocket
and kick off my shoes, it was a great night
She tosses her purse on the couch, blows me a kiss
and heads to the kitchen, I love watching her

I can hear her humming that song, our song
A few candles lit, she returns with a couple of beers, some lemon and salt
Plops down on the couch next to me with a giggle
Puts her feet up on the coffee table

A swallow of beer, knowing I’d rather swallow her
Leaning over I kiss her, soft and warm
She climbs over my lap, straddling me
Kissing more passionate, more intense

She pulls off my Kurt Cobain T and caresses my chest
Her moist lips find my neck, it becomes hot in here
I remove her shirt over her up stretched arms,
set it aside and hold her close

Her skin feels so good on mine
as our lips once more collide in passion’s desires
My mouth traces the outline of her beautiful body,
she grips my head and guides me

Flickering candle light dances, creating twin rhythmic shadows
I grab a lemon slice, dripping its tart juice on her flesh
It tastes so good, her skin becomes my lemonade
as her love adds just the right amount of sugar

“That’s for the beer dummy,” she laughs
but she doesn’t stop me, why would she
Her hands on my shoulders, she leans back
and her soft moans are now my music, her body my stage

Biting my ear she whispers, “Rock me, rock star,”
She knows I like that, even though I’m not, she makes me feel that way
I stand, lifting her with me, her legs wrap my waist, kissing,
arms tightly about my neck, and carry her to the bed

Sirens blare outside the window, normal for this hour in the city,
as we fall atop the gold comforter, collapsing as one
I gaze into her gorgeous eyes, still sparkling even in the darkness
“I love you Baby” I say, she smiles that enchanting smile and sighs…

”Prove it rock star, play me”

Please check out parts 1, 2 and 3 if you get a chance
The 6th Street I am talking about is in Austin Texas. It is the center of the musical world in that city. You can find any kind of music you like being played live in any of a number of different clubs on this street
There are 4 parts to this series if you care to see them. Actually there are 5, but # 5 would probably be a bit much for this site.

You Have To Prove

Someone once told me that my dreams wouldn’t come true
And for some reason I believed them too
So I just stopped trying
And ended up all alone in the dark crying
There was no ignoring the pain I felt inside
But I didn’t show it because of my pride
But in spite of everything else
I decided to start all over myself
I accomplished so many things it was unbelievable
So now the word on the block is “Aaron made it, that’s impossible”
But that’s where you wrong
I’m standing on my own two feet and I ain’t gonna fall
I’m that helping hand that’ll answer anyone’s call
All of my achievements are adding chapters to my book
So before you fix your mouth to say she’s failed take another look
I’ve grown up to be what I wanted to be
And not some black person they see as charity
So the next time someone says your dreams wont come true
Just think of it as being a point you have to prove

Premium Member Life Lesson: Tale of Two Cities - When Villains Prove Heroes

A barrister tottering through alleys of London,
  Alcohol-shamed when espied;
Slinking home at four in the morning,
To a pillow of tears never dried.

Sidney Carton's the wretch whom others denounce,
  He groans at his puffy, ruined face in the mirror;
Daring not to yearn for dreams long abandoned,
  Departed down whiskey-dulled rivers.

Still from eye's corner notes he the resemblance
  To erstwhile hero, Charles Darnay:
That dashing Frenchman who's captured the heart
Of the woman for whom Carton secretly prays.

So, milking that resemblance for all it is worth,
Carton offers up his life, brutish and mean,
Inserting his own head, instead of Darnay's,
'Neath the knife of 'Madame Guillotine.'

When sure of morality down here on Earth,
  We suddenly uncover confusion,
Villains prove heroes and heroes mere villains:
  Is Certainty but an Illusion?

He believed the flat earth theory
no way the earth was round,
he'd read all of the arguments
and thought they all were sound.
Moon landing? Fabrication,
flag rippled, and no dust,
if you think Man had landed there,
believe it if you must.
He believed that his wife loved him,
no need for proof or test,
he believed that his wife loved him
and wondered why she left.

Prove and Learn

I have heard eternal fires burn
With notes of lessons yet to learn,
And bathed in Basho’s lyric streams
Of Summer, Winter, Fall and Spring

I have climbed the lichen cliffs unseen
And heard that tranquil rhythmic theme
While watching herds of elk below
And never thought to draw my bow

For there in Father’s well-laid score
Was harmony displayed, and more.
It was here I heard the fires burn
It was here I came to prove and learn

How Can I Prove My Love To You?

My heart is striving,
My dreams are
bright,
I am so you loving,
You are my light.
Everything seems
empty
Without your sight,
You give strength
to me
And make my way
to fly.
***
How can I prove
my love to you?
What have I to do
more?
How can I make
you to be sure
That my heart for
you is open door?
***
I can show you
the brightest star,
It is called by your
name,
And when we be
so far apart,
It will show me
your mild flame.
This,means my love
to you,
And no borders will
stop me,
Every day begins
anew,
Just my love is
fairy deep.
***
How can I prove
my love to you?
What have I to do
more?
How can I make
you to be sure
That my heart for
you is open door?

Do Statistics Prove Anything?

It’s like this you see
9 0ut of 10 cat owners
like a little kitty (apparently I'm not allowed to use p y - how droll)
4out of 5 dog owners
like a bit of ruff
but only 4 out of 8 horse riders
like to mount a filly
50% of everything is only
half of what’s available
and 100% of most things is
far too much to handle
remember though with just 1 other
you can’t be in the minority
Q.E.D.

How frustrating that single words are censored. Not words like kill, maim, stab,
torture, abuse, death, hate though. Once again, violence triumphs over mild
innuendo

Tausug Bravery: What More To Prove

There is nothing to prove
in terms of bravery of the Tauusg.
The Tausug has been proven brave.
What more to prove?
It is our desire to still take the step
of the original cause for independence
To prove our bravery
to shout in any wall in the facebook
will not bring Tausug anywhere.
So Let Us All Save Peace,
Insha Allah it will bring the Tausug somewhere.

Just To Prove You Wrong

Out there is a goal no one else can see.
Only one person wants it, and that is me.
It seems so far away and so very distant.
I can reach it, but only if I am persistent.

Putting everything on hold, leaving life on a shelf.
There is only one thing in my way and that is myself.
When everything else is out of control and spinning,
most would say this is the end, I say its a new beginning.

I know some people out there say its a goal I can't achieve.
Obviously they don't know me, so I'll let them go on being naive.
Yes, there are times when I want to give up, the road is hard and long.
I will conquer my obstacles and fears, if for nothing else just to prove you wrong.

To Prove Human

To prove human
Just a greeting could suffice,
To exhibit solicitude,
Especially when we meet first time,
And none of us is courteous.

To show humanity,
There need be charity,amity,
And not animosity.
For amongst us,
Supremacy and pomposity,
Seem to create a rift.

To whosoever; formal or not,
From East or West,
richly bestowed or unfortunate,
Generosity reigns extant and supreme.

Premium Member Nothing Left To Prove

Maybe I missed my window to the heart.
Maybe I just never finish what I start.
Maybe I walked away just a little too soon.
Howled one too many times at the falling moon.
Maybe all I ever needed.
Was what I had all along.
But I sure couldn’t see it.
Blinded by the fog.
Of my own conceit.
Maybe I just never really knew.
Where I was going.
But this one thing I know.
I’ve got nothing left to prove.
.
And I've been young.
But now I'm getting old.
Been down one too many.
Lonely empty roads alone.
I've seen it all.
Or at least that's what I'm told.
Piece by piece.
Auctioning the soul.
I guess it's true.
I’ve got nothing left to prove.
.
Ain't it funny how one mans sunset.
Is another man's dawn.
One man's king.
Is another man's pawn.
They tried to sell you the rights.
But you still got it all wrong.
But until you taste the bitter.
 Of nothing left to lose.
You'll never taste the freedom.
Called nothing left to prove.

Philosophy G700d - I Kant Prove God

Immanuel Kant, changed the spelling of his name from Emmanuel to "Immanuel" to accord with its Hebrew meaning: "God is with us." So, this quintessential Enlightenment thinker - and Thomas Jefferson a little after him - could not talk about God easily. Kant & Jefferson did not "know" God or prove Him in the ways we gain empirical knowledge through the senses. But Kant is no John Locke, locked into sensual data, unable to taste intuitions that beckon agape love, morality, dignity, desires to have children, longevity, and most essentially, for Kant, what remains the "holy in human rationality." By the way, imagine J. J. Rousseau ("Emile" author) called marriage "holy"! Do not quickly label enlightenment thinkers the way seminary or college tend to do!

So Kant did what is best and wisest with God. He said that Morality was crucial for religion, not vice versa, that God was helpful for morality, yet God could not be known empirically, so Kant chose to focus on reason and Human rationality as part of the image of God in human beings (Genesis 1-3, esp. 1:26-27). That is why his contributions to Moral Philosophy confounds so many - we cannot use anyone and anything as means to our ends; the highest and holiest thing we can do is build a corpus of universality in morality. Or more simply, do unto others as you would have done unto you: Do NOT elevate your desire or maxims unless you want it universally in all circumstances. I KANT see how Immanuel - who was eloquently grateful to his harness-maker dad and Pietist-leaning mom, is hated by Evangelicals at the Academy in general. Of course, there are exceptions (other than I? LOL!)

No Need In a Prove

No need in a prove,
Your word is everything
I need to know and whatever else.
Your heart is true
The purest I've ever seen
So blessed to hear what your silence tells.

Your luring smile,
That fire in your eyes,
Inflaming pictures of a magic dance..
When rains a while
I'm taking off disguise,
Make up and clothes of the circumstance.

The kiss can start
A fantasy of flight.
We'll never stop believing what we feel.
The faith is art
Of keeping thoughts apart
From raising heart when ruling heaven realm.

The power of
The unexpected gift
That can wake up when put asleep prudence
Devoured all,
And no prove I need
Your sight and word are prove and evidence.

The gift is mine.
And what you have is yours,
Cannot affect the vibes you've influenced.
That's how a lie
Made powerless to hurt.
I will decide the end since it commenced.

Prove To You

I want to live within your mind just to know what your thinking
anchor to your wisdom when my rationality is sinking.

I want to be embedded in your knowledge, know everything you've ever known
be so deep in your trust that you reveal things you've never shown.

I want to dive into your memory & swim in your thoughts
see everything you've ever seen, learn everything you've been taught.

I want to intertwine with your emotions feel everything that your feel.
I want my care to resonate so strong that its very presence heals.

I want to fathom your faith, convert to your beliefs.
Calm your inner chaos and magnify your peace.

I want to speak directly to your heart until my voice rings in your ears.
Want u to feel me with u even when i'm not near.

I want to hide in your desires and manifest within your dreams
show you things about myself that have seldom been seen.

I want you to lose yourself every time your with me,
be happy when i'm there and miss me before i leave.

I want to be your certainty,a part of your truth.
I want to show and prove how much i love you
