Just To Prove You Wrong

Out there is a goal no one else can see. Only one person wants it, and that is me. It seems so far away and so very distant. I can reach it, but only if I am persistent. Putting everything on hold, leaving life on a shelf. There is only one thing in my way and that is myself. When everything else is out of control and spinning, most would say this is the end, I say its a new beginning. I know some people out there say its a goal I can't achieve. Obviously they don't know me, so I'll let them go on being naive. Yes, there are times when I want to give up, the road is hard and long. I will conquer my obstacles and fears, if for nothing else just to prove you wrong.
