Seduce me in Black and White
You reach toward my face
and touch my lips
Tracing the slightly raised pink curve of them
gently - lightly - before
the urge to kiss me seizes the opportunity
Surrealistic sensations immortalize
as our lips seek and lock
Interchange of strange, new emotions
flow as our tongues entwine
Sun having a siesta under his canopy of clouds sends
sombre golden light slanting through the old colonial blinds
Enough for me to see ~
I want to see ~
Caressing fingers don’t stop as kisses linger
moving in seductive circular motion
Circling - tracing - moulding
twin peaks to unashamed pertness
Tantalising ripples course my body
Like the soft waving flutter of butterflies winged kisses
creating sensuous ripple upon ripple
Of pure undulating pulsating
I want to see ~
Fingers urgently move now to my navel
circling, tracing, tinkling
Like a pianist on his keys
of black and white
Are they really only two colours?
Why then do they lilt a rainbow of colours to my ears?
On my fevered skin caressing fingers script my Rhapsody
The slow whirring beat of the ancient ceiling fan
picks up a harmonic note
of a solitary flute
Wanting to add to the sultry scene
It lends its own mysterious charm
A tantalising urge to arch
I want to feel ~
Impatient now for them to move further
Fiery Desire entices curious fingers to touch
dew that cumulates dusk to dawn on my awakening rose
Exciting, enticing emotions
The aromatic rapture floats me to you
a tortuously slow feeling to satiate
Propels bodies to engage
I want to feel ~ I want to feel ~ I want to feel you
A frog croaks discordantly outdoors
Snapping me out of my reverie
Startling me out of my romantic fantasy
Eyes fall back on monochrome words of my book
I long to dwell in this erotic moment
Weaving the music into a mesmerising crescendo
However
The old wooden blades of the ceiling fan
resume back to the rhythmic measured clickity clack
The spell now broken
I reach for my phone to call my lover
He awaits my call …

Living Truth
Ancient guides of venerated truth
Stumble through numb spiritual graveyards
Where truth casts its shadow in chiseled words,
A signature of affection,
On moss bathed alabaster stones that once
Gleamed in treasures of veracity,
Autographed insights of the ancient sages
Screams out the litany of wisdom
Then begs, like balm, the insomniac unconscious heart
To intone a resurrection,
A living trove of living verbs in action
Breaking from the bondage of a chrysalis redecorated
With raw promises to shake off stagnation,
Relight the lantern star of the eternal spring’s veracity
Springing into actions that rise from stone inertia
Insight’s revelation releases a new song of songs
Truth that lives anew –
That propels the quest of new a-ha’s
That plants new reasons for renewed actions
In the waiting heart embraced.

i stood looking outside
listening to the rain
with its long slender fingers
tap a tune against my window
squeegees in hand
i could see
the troops of drops
clean the air
for a clearer view
while on their descent
people
some walking
holding their umbrellas
others running
attempting to escape
the cruel barrage of
knocks to their heads
there are a few children
in their rainy day gear
locked and loaded
steady and ready
attacking the puddles
with a fierce offensive
crushing any and all puddles
dare question their authority
jumping and diminishing
the enemy ruthlessly
the children's joy
propels me to thoughts
of the gift ahead
a rainbow large
or maybe a double arc
fully colored vibrant
interrupted
my kettle
whistles
me over
meticulously
i proceed to prepare
my rainy day cocoa
in my neighborhood
it's a law
rain?
hot cocoa
cocoa in hand
i return to my show
the trees are soaked
the rain unrelenting
the plants forced
to bend under the
weight of heavy rain
all the tiny flyers
seek shelter
while birds
bomb dive
for their landing
worms however
are in their
full glory
out for their
unscheduled shower
later aliens
with lamps
shinning from
their foreheads
will gather
to pluck
worms
from the earth
poor worms
my daughters
will be glad
never having
liked crawlies
of any kind
i suppose
they would think
poor aliens
the rain now
is descending violently
apparently in cahoots
with the wind
but still no
thunder or lightning
this must be their
week off
a paid vacation
i gather
my cocoa only
warm and almost
finished
i decide to
bid the rain
a good night
i head
upstairs
for my
daily shower

February 4 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Leviticus 11-13
Key Verse – Leviticus 11:44 For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy…
FAITH IN GOD WHO SANCTIFIES US
God sanctifies us from sin-leprosy
By His mercy healing our plague’s persistency…
We thank Him for the power of His clemency
That transforms us by faith along His love’s fervency.
God sanctifies us from flesh-filthiness
By His holiness melting our lustfulness…
We thank Him for the brightness of His righteousness
That radiates around us by faith midst worldliness.
God sanctifies us from pride-inflammation
By His meekness smiting our arrogant reaction…
We thank Him for the clarity of His instruction
That propels us by faith toward growth’s function.
God sanctifies us from vice-defilement
By His purification vanquishing our addiction impairment…
We thank Him for His grace of restoration-replenishment
That upholds us by faith against evil allurement.
God sanctifies us from trespass-infirmity
By His forgiveness correcting our iniquity…
We thank Him for His pardon of acquitting quality
That makes us by faith to enjoy eternal life’s security.
God sanctifies us from command-disobedience
By His discipline conquering our rebellion-resurgence…
We thank Him for His Word of steadfast diligence
That enables us by faith to win against carnal expedience.
God sanctifies us from transgression-pest
By His purity cleansing our errors to the fullest…
We thank Him for His kindness of compassionate zest
That blesses us while we do by faith our utmost best.

Another Gold
Far from profit’s crass allure,
At a place somewhat obscure,
A poet sweeps his shepherd’s lyre;
He sings of gold, of heaven’s fire.
No. not of gold that Midas stores
Behind fast-bolted treasury doors
But of gold, that, eve and dawn,
Touches sheaves of ripened corn.
More emeralds than all wealth can gain
Has to these eyes the verdant plain.
Without the mind all precious stones
Have lesser worth than dead men’s bones.
The original prompt for the last poem was one I wrote on being requested to resign from a computer company.
Far from profit’s crass allure
At a place somewhat obscure,
Gordon preaches now Cobol.
Fortran and, I believe, Algol,
Unto flocks of Gaelic birds,
Black-faced sheep and long-haired herds.
In Acton’s fleshpots, in his den,
The spotlight first is beamed on Ken.
Beware the luscious woman’s wiles
Or you’ll forget your disks and files.
It would clearly be a sin
To make no mention of dear Lin.
May married bliss attend thy way
And commensurate be thy pay.
Sandra’s performance sets the pace
Robin’s too a similar case.
His hunting prowess earns him fame
In matters that concern big game.
Flower power propels this happy throng
Which means that little can go wrong
As long as Rose your leader be.
May rays of fortune shine on thee
On yon high Olympic mountain
Where Gord and Mary have been scouting.
There beneath the royal wall
Our Ted flogs bangles on his stall.
My ditty now has reached its span
Remember me, the also-ran.

I love the way her quiet hands always seem
to rouse a feeling of intensity deep inside.
How strong the sensation can be when against my body.
I love the how heartening they are
when I feel so misplaced.
And how infantile they feel even though calloused
Greatly through her trying life.
I love the way her eyes gaze at me.
The way they bypass sheepish smiles and timid looks
And see what I really wish for her to see.
I love how a single look ignites a feeling in me that boils
my soul and melts away the layers
like chocolate in the sun.
I love the way her fair lips sneak across her teeth.
The way they coil in to this ideal smile
that always seems to cause the same outcome in me.
I love when she just barely tastes them while she’s thinking and
how they burn when she tenderly places them on my remains.
I admire how they can say so much with out moving
and with a simple flick can entice so much commotion at once.
I love it when I hear thump-thump
and how it propels her passion for this existence.
I love how no one person gets the same version of her,
and how it always makes every day unique.
I can even love the childish way it makes her mature
which always appears to make her cry.
I love the way I don’t feel good enough for her some times,
but she always tells me Im perfect.
I love how she makes me cry cause it never bittersweet
and always ends in a smile.
I love how angry she makes me and how she just blows it off
in a joke that we both laugh at later.
In the end I promised you this.
Its not done its not perfect but its for you.
Its my heart. Its everything I love about you,
Its my promise to always fall in love with you every day
And love you always.

I look up high and low outside my window
While the whole wide world seems fast asleep
I think I hear sweet tears that angels weep
As breaks the far horizon with solar glow
I wander closer to my window pane
Look out and latch on to serenity
Peacefully I ponder vast infinity
While forsaking all dull thoughts mundane
Dawn's majestic celestial pageantry
Casts vibrations and dimensions apart
Bridging from the depths within my heart
Unruffled silences that whisper harmony
In the wee hours that launch the crack of dawn
A peek at heaven propels my spirit free
To roam the vast expanse of universe carefree
And release the inspiration my dream spawns

Why, does it seem perplexing as to why I feel so content
So satisfied, so elated, so complete
Does it seem out of the box
To be all alone
And still, to smile at all times?
Pray,
It is merely because my lover is there
Not only in my heart
But everywhere
Yes, he is the breath that propels me forth
He is the winds that caress the furs of furry animals
He is the tides that tingle the shores
He is sun's warmth that bring flowers to blossom
He is the very cause of life on Earth
He is the force that sustains Earth
He is everywhere
And at the same time
He is right here in my heart!
Pray, I feel him, I sense him
I know he watches over me
I know he smiles when I do
And cries when I am laden with misery
I know he feels the same yearning that I do
And wishes that there were no skies between us
No oceans, no trail of starlight
No dark matter
No profuse mystery
No veil, blinding the vision of one and each!
Why, for him I have chosen to be in love with life
For him I have accepted my existence
For him I have changed for the better!
Yes, my lover is right here in my heart
And at the same time
My lover fills up the whole essence of life on Earth!
As for me, I shall water the creepers of my love
So that it blooms into a majestic flower
Such a one, which shall be such a magnificent sight
That the whole world shall feel immersed in bliss
Merely by glancing at it!

Shall I liken you to a corpse bouquet?
You are certainly ripe and more fetid.
The fond zephyrs of May waft your decay
Up the addled noses of us wretched
Hordes famished for flesh, lurching on the moor,
And me amongst them clawing to your scent
Putrix beyond the spitty chum’s allure
Propels me well beyond routine ferment
To you, though Fate’s sickle blade shall flail
My congealed member’s once firm resolve,
And fire inflames us just shy of the pale,
Our passion will continue to devolve.
Ever, shall she be my prime cadaver,
O to undie again, and to have her!

God I thank for His love midst grace bounty
along mercy of sweet serenity…
His bestowed existence-breath’s verity
daily propels blest productivity…
His gift of life throughout eternity
assures me wondrous redemption surety…
His granted trust-propped faith-gripped faculty
brings forgiveness when confessed as guilty…
His endowed jubilation’s purity
cheers my soul, vanquishing anxiety…
His steadfast truth and precepts’ certainty
proves the Scriptures’ immutability…
His promises bracing security
guard me against skeptic doubt’s vanity…
His wisdom of guidance tenacity
gears toward stewardship capacity…
His power in worshipful praise beauty
enables service opportunity…
His presence ensuring peaceful safety
upholds my prayer to the Almighty.
1Timothy 1:12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.

Ingrained in human nature of guilt source
Fear exposes my need for divine force
God props me with, “Fear not… I am thy shield…”
So I triumphantly trust His best course.
Instilled for betterment in every heart
Fear drives me toward reverential start
Assured by “The fear of the LORD is clean..."
Thus from His guidance, I should not depart.
Imparted with desire for righteous goal
Fear propels soul to seek advancement pole
Amidst Christ’s “Fear not, for I am with thee…”
For the fulfillment of entrusted role.
Inflicting as worry, despair and doubt
Fear pulls my grip toward vanity clout
I pray, "...Unite my heart to fear thy name..."
Enabling my service of blissful shout.
*Luke 8:50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only…

Alone with My Friends
Palpable loneliness propels me to recline upon the deck,
Amid the trees.
The trees, my friends, who speak in “breeze” and
Keep me company.
Mr. Ash, you know is, too, alone and brittle of his kind;
He tells me “Thank you for caring when am slow in the spring.”
Mrs. Deep Green Elm frames my face and calls me by name;
She lost her companion to a violent wind and will never be the same.
Umbrellas of your leafing warmth are cuddling me,
Though you daily must face the elements, you sing;
You always spread your protective branches around and over me,
Your own joy seeing sprigs looking down upon your saplings.
All the while you know you’ll be called to fall some coming day.
As will I.
But until that day comes ‘neath a new hot Texas sky,
You will take the place of those now gone to me
And shade me lovingly with your arms.

leaving the hot sands
of comfort wading into
the salty unknown
diving headlong into
its coldness that shocks
my body I rise to breathe
while the waters burn
my eyes its profound
stength nudges me as,
a mother does her children
huge churning waves crash
closer, growing in size until it
seems a beast, slicing
into the bubbly turquoise colors
One sweep of my arms propels me,
Into this turbulent force tossing
me about in the
churning fury as my lungs
burn for air, disoriented
I finally break the surface,
sweet air cooling the
fire in my lungs glancing
towards the sands yet the
seductive ocean beckons
to me free from the
comfort craving the unknown
heartbeat races from
excitement as those
waves win, like a mermaid,
I dive into the seductive saltiness
swimming towards the sunset
Leaving the comforting
sands behind

The day my life commenced … wondrously great
Propels each endeavour as good success
Surely designed and authored by the Lord
Who grants grace, sufficiently abundant
Toward grand fulfillment, never worthless.
First among those days is my blissful birth
As parents’ love-fruit who bloomed in their care
Following such are triumphant moments
Marked with milestones, carved and etched in my heart
Worth thanking God for with joyous praises.
My second birth is best of all the days
Divinely miraculous, since Christ-wrought
Quickening my spirit from being slain
Healing with forgiveness my sin-sick soul
Assuring me gift of eternal life.
The rest, I label as marvelous days
Though stained with failures and frustration woes
Others are notable, leaving me scars
But reigning are significant days’ bliss
Spent through faith-function for Saviour’s glory.
My days* to me are Almighty’s presents
Precious against selfishness’ futile greed
Cherished treasures for glad earnest sharing
While consumed devoid of any regret…
Such is my prayer midst human weakness.
*Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
