Reflecting Ripples

I stand alone a barking tree, where silent sorrows of ripples flee,
No one hears my calamity, wearing weeps of my raped reality…
Branches droop to ice-cold ground, solitudes surface of their drowned,
Abysmal anguish of leaves have browned, lacrimal echoes of their sound.

Randomized reflections of rivers flow, suffering scourges in their woe,
Ripples raging in their row, creating cabalistic contrasts as they grow…
The forest dense as to populate, the seeds of seduction must copulate,
All is dormant until the eyes dilate, weeping willows that magistrate.

I accept my life near the lamenting lake, weathering wounds as I wake,
The wood whispers as to ache, secluded shadows share the snake…
Wandering waters that ripples bring, vines that struggle in their swing,
Alone in my salvaged spring, where sparrows segregate in their sing.

O flowers

O flowers, your soul is so beautiful,
I would like to know you all,
You populate so many vast gardens,
Your silences are filled with treasures,
O flowers, I cannot name all of you,
Neither compare you,
Petunias, Magnolias, orchids,
You undo my chains with a single attraction,
O benevolent angels, you offend no one,
A rose alone in a blue vase
Change the life of a painter, or the fate of the world,
O flowers, how to end my life without loving you?
O flowers, how would my poem end
If you didn’t exist?

Premium Member Pile On--Let's Blame America

America, trillions in debt
gives to many nations!
Alas, what for, we are seen
as a selfish nation?

Homeless populate the streets
of LA.(thanks to governor Newsom)!
Yet don't you get it, we have
no extra money to pay.

No hidden vaccines do we store.
But all nations yelling...
We are not a vaccine store!

I have no idea why we ever
helped our allies?
They do, to this day, forever
despise us

I would not come on an international
site.
Insulting any nation, as though what
they had, was my right.

We are on the road to becoming
Venezuela, two.
People waltz in here, like
we owe them a living, too.

Besieged with Covid at our
borders.
Thousands for a free monthly
check plus medications, such
hoarders.

There are people legally, wanting
to move here.
Overrun by gangs, the Cartels,
who have no fear.

I grew up in Chicago, quite
international.
Relatives, legally arrived when
LAW was still fashionable.

But we are expected to take all in,
as if we are a bottomless money pit.
Don't you understand, we've
surpassed our money limits?

Stop lying and saying we are
hoarding vaccines.
You are listening to the Cancel Culture
station, in itself, worse than the disease!

We are all essentially African. That's where humanity first took birth.
Some then left Africa to populate every land mass on planet earth.
Those of us who remained in equatorial Africa kept our very dark protective skin.
It served as a natural sun block,
preventing harmful ultra violet rays from contaminating our bodies from within.
As we migrated closer to the poles we began to slowly depigmentize.
It was an evolutionary trade off, one might call evolutionarily wise.
The rays of the sun when closer to the poles
are not as harsh as in sub tropical Africa and the pole's climate is cold.
Where as in Africa we walked naked with our protective dark skin,
The poles were colder. We wore clothing over our slowly depigmentizing skin.
Depigmentizing all the quicker because of very little exposure to the sun at all.
Because we differ in skin color doesn't mean anything good or bad at all.
We were and still are all the same human specie, unlike our cousins, the extinct Neanderthal.
We are all *****sapiens. We are all the one and only Human Race.
In a nutshell, that says it all.
To All Hate Groups Out There and hate individuals too.
Be forewarned. Be aware. Your over due extinction is about to come true.
I speak for all with knowledge who have truly evolved too,
"We All Welcome The Extinction Of All The Ignorance Created By All Of You."
You should all welcome it too, so that all of you can truly, for the common good,
intellectually evolve too.

~ A Poem on the Parsha* ~

         'In the Sinai Desert'

  A wilderness - barren, desolate
    that snakes and scorpions populate

  Flat, sand-swept, open to all
who yearn to hear Eternity's call

There God led His new nation
Spoke to three million, atop a mountain gradation

On Horeb, the lowliest of them
    face-to-face ~ Moses and Jerusalem

*'Parsha' is Hebrew for (loosely) 'portion.' Every Sabbath
a portion of the Five Books of Moses is read in the
synagogue. In a year's time, all five books are completed,
and the grand occasion is celebrated at the last holiday
of the Fall Harvest Season, 'Simchas Torah.' (lit., 'Rejoic-
ing with the Law.'). This Sabbath, the portion read is titled
'In the Desert,' from the Book of Numbers 1:1 - 4:20.

Yesterday

It never seems to end
as you lose another friend
when death comes grimly reaping
and he leaves the mourners weeping

How terrible the day
when someone fades away
and they join with those at last
who populate your past

So once again you start
with a broken mind and heart
as one more soul along the way
stays behind with yesterday

     i wish for tremendous colors
hues that makes us cry

i wish to appear invisible beneath redwoods
i wish to vanish below their verdant foliage
and hear the sparrows populate the forest with song
as we release a mutual sigh

i wish to feel the wind touch my lips
and the moon quake with weakened pulse
as the flaming campfire of dusk dies out
and our spirits brave goodbye

Premium Member A Tribute To Mothers

Created by God to give birth,
and to populate mother earth.
Though sin made the process painful,
to the task you have been faithful.

The children you bear may cause pain,
As Eve experienced with her Cain.
He chose to become a rebel,
and to kill his brother Abel.

You do not perfection possess,
this your children do confess.
But you possess rare qualities
and have many abilities.

After months of great discomfort,
you endure the pain of childbirth.
Then comes the nurture and caring,
and the years of burden-bearing.

Mom your roles are great in number,
causing you to resist slumber.
Before daylight, you start to stir,
And many days are but a blur.

God made you and gave you the skill,
and the heart his will to fulfill.
He gave you the job to mother,
and teach us to love each other.

Join with me, say thanks to mothers,
who are always helping others.
Be they well, sick, alive, or dead,
Never let their memory fade.
Say thanks to God each day for them,
Keep them forever in your head.

Sonnet For a Corona Virus

A dark and unseen presence in our midst
Spreads fear and caution stifling our striving
Would sole and loving God choose to enlist
Such agency to threaten our surviving?

In infinite diversity of forms
That populate the universe we know
Creations come with each new day that dawns
Chance: minor deities vie to bestow

Might one small god be swelling now with pride
His blessed child with given name: a crown
Has spread its realm extending far and wide
Domain where now the sun does ne’er go down

But kingdoms come and go as dew on grass
Men and viruses prevail but then shall pass

Premium Member Why Doves Cry

Doves cry when the earth is being disturbed
When there's conflicts and war they are perturbed
For doves are the dear Lord's symbols of peace
They bring olive branches to help wars cease.

Doves also represent the joy of love
The golden gift from heaven up above
They coo-coo-coo to attract their life mate
Then build a nest for them to populate.

Doves sing their song to tell you that they're near
A song that's soothing and moving to hear
Their musicality is a calm balm
Alike listening to a holy psalm.

Stay as innocent as doves Jesus said
Never let evil thoughts enter your head
Doves appear when one has a troubled mind
On angelic wings, bringing love sublimed.

Patience Endures

PATIENCE ENDURES!

The world and the people and the individuals that come together to populate universal thinking.
Society-at-large development is seen.
How come then everything seems to be slowing down extremely?

What is patience?

The entity and the government and the bureaucrats that make economy to provide industry and growth.
Topical to socialism.
Therefore, the theme becomes exploitation.

What is a virtue?

Capitalizing upon what is known.
Establishing a mundane focus to define new norms manifests those of God.
Seriatim to generations to come.
Thus, a frustrated point and transgression is always a rule of thumb.

Patience tantamount.

Perception inculcates the thoughts while
Asinine perpetrates conflicting insight
That is unfulfilling to what is right.
Is justice true to life formed…
Either to what is right or what is wrong? Does
Nondiscriminatory discriminates intelligence decorum
Cause virtuousness statue law which is
Efficacious to the frustrated point?

Why patience?

A Jungle World

Slowly and silently she moves
Waiting for the right moment before she swoops
Her fangs built to shorten the lives of fools
Who in a moment their lives they lose

The glance from her will make you go pale
For few are alive to tell the tale
Just a swipe and to eternity will your soul sail
Her strikes has never and will never fail

The naive prey unsuspecting is feasting
Unaware that not far from him death lurks...nesting
The prey breathes its last never suspecting
Its carcass in a barren land...forever resting

Who are these helpless preys?...
Who suffering fill all their days
Who are those who lose their lives in these God forsaken place?
Who are those who find themselves caught up in life's maze?

They are the poverty stricken serfs!
Who die daily in mass
While the rich populate like stubborn grass
For them...Hope is far away as the stars!

But we must breathe in the air of freedom even if it's our last
We must build a utopia for our generation very fast
We must raise the flag of freedom on the ship's mast
And build a future that would forever last!!!

To Acclimate Academia - Social Theological Studies

TO ACCLIMATE ACADEMIA - SOCIAL THEOLOGICAL STUDIES

Once God confused the languages, humanity processed out to form religion.
Yet, creation had given us our own separate places
WHEREFORE, the Berlin Wall was placed to confront differences in opinion.
Was one nation negated?
History has shown us that man is his own dilemma, woman is his triumph, and child is his neglect when he is not about the future but only the past.

Do we speak on what’s wrong?
Or, do we stand by until all hope is gone?
Was the walk just a facade?
Did this solve any problems?
As the universe, we diversify.
But in a world that is structure around immigration, informed by origin and enslavement, diversification is divergently challenge through discrimination and hate crimes.

Opposing a wrongful world to define the mundane is when humankind abominates from the atrocities described.
Reforming a rightful mind brings a positivist unity that has never been in our lives.
Unanimity, concordance, and harmony discreet.
Our political leaders are not embracing antiquity...
Instead, they relic the identity.

Will it end?
The revelation that is not shown.
Is this a threat to human life formed?
Inner body is the secret chamber.
In the body will it remain?

To put before requires us to apply one thing to another.
Individuals populate as people.
One person left out can cause a crucifixion where pain is the affliction.
In that suffering is so great, abhorrence is by fate,
Social theologically I write to depart insight from hindsight.
Through not so freely gave because a mind is to decipher to become a sage

Positing my thoughts for others to decrypt is fine and dandy.
Of course, it is.
Gen that consigns philosophers to seek the truth, insofar as the Tarot reader sees from the spread of cards.
As a result, the world has become the universe.

A Day In Kampala

A flight of birds
Flaunt their enormous wings
Spying the light blue skies,
Of a city protected by trees
Whose sheer leaves
Dance with the January breeze
That hovers over
A people of different origins

A chrysalis unborn,
Wrapped tightly with love
Soon to flourish into a butterfly
This city is,
Of men and women
That toil in light and darkness
In strife for success

Thousand cyclists dot the downtown alley
Where potholes wait still,
Like crocs in a shallow river,
Preying a stray leg,
Or a taxi from a valley of hundreds
That,
From atop their harbor
Evokes in me
The feel of a king facing his people

Twilight sluggishly descends
Upon a tired city,
Ushering in the night lights
That glow of cedar upon the girls of the night,
The streets are quiet yet lively,
With music, liquor stores,
and casinos,
Stray dogs and vagabonds Populate the night,
Clearing the streets of the day's trash

I could still wake,
Oblivious of the morning sun,
Dazed from last night
And still know I'm in this lovely city
That bares untold stories
Of men that fostered it's blossom.

                                Isaac.O
