Premium Member Giggles and Dust Rise

Cool raindrops kiss my cheeks
A warm breeze rises within me
As I recall the moments
Which linger in my heart forever

The pulsating sphere of light and dark
Polar opposite lovers in the circle of life
Encompassing magnificent visceral nuances
Infinite shades of gray, slate, and steel
With mauve interludes
An elegant intimate tapestry
Complete with tears of joy and pain
Sharing love and grief

Gazing upwards I join my brothers and sisters
On jagged bare branches
As cool wind rustles our feathers
The white hawks, eagles, vultures, and their tribes
The birds of prey who gather
Sharing tales of their journeys through time

We all stare out
Our senses prickling with anticipation
A silence hovers
A shared glimpse
A collective inhale
Our ears and hearts awaken

Virgin raindrops fall on thirsty ferns
Their limey tendrils outstretched
Quenched in gratitude

A low rumble
Footsteps below
A clearing in the forest
Created by children gathering
Giggles and dust rise
Excited young mouths
Speaking in pantomime
Gesturing with kind intentions
Young creatures of the world kingdom
Unconcerned with language barriers
Sharing evolving consciousness

A wink of an eye
Hands on chest - feeling our heartbeats
Laughter emanating from within little bellies
Spinning freely in circles
Arms outstretched wide, heart open and exposed
Vulnerable in delight and anticipation

A low cello vibrates nearby
A gentle breeze rustles leaves
Which float in the air embracing light rays
Mesmerizing all
Pine boughs perform shadow puppet dances
On cascading rock walls nearby

Elders lean contently against tree trunks
Smiles slowly emerging as silent tears flow
A young child skips over
Tenderly grabbing her grandfather’s arm
Opening his hand, she plants a wet kiss
On his age-stained palm
Then gazes up at his toothy grin
Before returning to the gathering

Wild beasts arrive and quiet
Kneeling by water’s edge
To drink and watch

Hands clasp
A sharing ensues
A vibration rises
As souls gather
Radiating light and hope to all

Anti-Christ Anthem

You're wearing the cap with the crooked cross emblem,
hoisting your neo-Nazi flag high
You dream of a revived Fourth Reich kingdom,
hoping that you see it before you die
"Hate your neighbor" is your rallying call,
it's the opposite of what Jesus Christ said to us all
Blacks
Jews
Muslims
Hindus
You hate them all equally the same
Refugees
Homosexuals
Homeless
Foreign nationals
You hate them all, no matter what their name
"Love thy enemy" is what Jesus Christ said,
you're the polar opposite, you want them all dead
Mark yourself an antichrist
Always wished you were at the crucifixion,
you would've nailed in the spikes
Consider yourself a true Confederate to the cause,
proud of teaching your children how to hate when they're small
Kill them dead,
kill them all,
That's the drunken song you sing
in your "Members only" beer hall
It's the Anti-Christ anthem,
it's pure ancient antebellum
You love to sing your favorite rebel rousing song,
you love to hear it being played all day long
Kill them all,
kill them dead
It's the bloodlust song always playing in your head
It's the Anti-Christ anthem,
it's pure ancient antebellum
Bring back the bygone days of butchery and bedlam
Whenever you hear the Anti-Christ anthem,
you pledge your soul to be a disciple of Satan

An Acrostic Poem of Michael

My life is a journey not yet complete as
I live with wide eyes’ open towards adventures that
Come to me daily through this wondrous epic called life while
Having the opportunity to live two polar opposite life styles in one life time I
Am able to recognize the miracle of God’s hand as he guides me with Gentle nudges
Even as I’m convinced he has left me hanging I soon realize his ever subtle presence
Love is the answer to my questions of what God is through suffering the past...

 I now know PEACE.

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

Offended

Offended
is ignorance
a lack of understanding
silence
is not for everyone

humans speak
and do things
different than you
or your faction
true
or untrue
or stretch truth

what's the worry?
stressing
over someone else's beliefs
takes you away
from your own routine

offended
is a waste of energy
needed for nothing
causing dangerous sparks
within one's mind
one's heart
one's soul
becomes contaminated
with preoccupations

vengeance breeds furious
often unexpected actions
of ill-will occur
or changes for the worse
creep
in the shadows of good
growing
taking over
"spiritual kudzoo"
none could tame

extinguish your dealings
with petty rage
of another imperfect being's mouth
cancer vanishes easier
with early detection
MOVE ON!
or at least learn
from your polar opposite

Av and His Nefertiti

I will chase you till death
and never let up.
A love that is destined to grow
everlasting!
A promise I intend to keep,
to never see you weep
because of me!
To be each others strength
and never tear each other down.
I will support you through tribulation,
not only when times are good!
Through frustration I am dedicated
Forever yours!
We will fight,
and times not see eye to eye!
I may leave to cool down
but come back to embrace
and kiss you good night!

I have been through many,
none have touched me like you.
I have tried and failed,
left alone feeling blue!
I can see it when you look at me,
feel it in your touch.
I see in your disposition
that you love me so much.
You are my polar opposite
but our chemistry is sound.
I now know I have found my soul-mate
this love knows no bounds!

The Polar Opposite of Myself

I go to bed too late and get up way too early,
I can't stand to sleep I fail at it very miserably.
I don't enjoy a cup of coffee with a donut on the side,
when I see my reflection I want to run and hide.

I enjoy the nightlife walking around downtown,
I am very at ease with strangers all around.
I enjoy doing laundry every single day,
“Yay there are dishes!”, in thanksgiving I pray.

I get annoyed when there's dust on the furniture,
I dislike siting and catching up on my literature.
I love grocery shopping anytime anywhere,
but cooking dinner I just don't seem to care.

My family can stress me out past my limit,
“I can't believe they won't leave! I am so intricate!”
The dog hair is spread all through out the house,
and yes I love our little guest a cute little mouse....

~See, the truth is that I am the polar opposite,~
I live a simple life, quiet and moderate.

I go to bed too early and wake up way too late,
sleep is my best friend, I'm sure many can relate.
My cup of coffee is a blessing with a chocolate donut,
looking in the mirror I don't mind seeing close up.

Going out late with drinking and dancing in the bars,
makes me sick to my stomach, I'd rather go to the park.
I literally pray every night for the laundry to go away,
I wish I could burn the dishes every single day.

The dust can pile up I could really care less,
grocery shopping is usually done by my hubby Nicholas.
Without my stacks of books I need to read daily,
dinner every night on the kitchen table is reality.

Without my family I would not be able to live,
for they are my number one priority all I want is to give.
The dog hair can be vacuumed that's really no big deal,
so what, maybe that little mouse isn't even real.

See, the truth is that is really who I am,
I live a simple life...I'm an easy going madame.

Coffin Trash

Instigating violence instead of defusing a situation. Shoot me in the face and get a month's paid vacation. Celebrating death down there at the station. The ones you've killed will watch you as you sleep.

Mouth breathers and cop callers. Black and white, no grey area. Toxic rainbows in tech-n-color sever childhood skies. It's obvious. Terrified, they kept their heads down. Maybe it'll all go away as long as they work their jobs, follow routine, and a few times a week they pray. Damn your eyes for knowing the truth and sitting Idly by, as you've foreseen the outcome in visions and secretly knew the reasons why. That the smoke and mirrors clear and shatter. Hearing the true tone in between the clatter. Watching the news in all hues of blood splatter. But still you've got the audacity to say you've an idea of what's the matter?

They'll come for us all in the end.
If Cancer doesn't kill you then some other marketing tools step in. Religions neuter progress.
Faith a hollow promise.
Your shepherd had the forked tongue all along.
Trained, conditioned, and corrupted to the bone.
Eyes still fixed on your betraying cell phone.
Tracked and tagged, docile and fed. No more questions echoing in your atrophying head. You've been duped onto the killing floor. Muscle breaks down just a little bit more. Consume. Comply. Stop resisting. They've plastic boxes for us all. Holes pre-dug in which we fall. Love, a vestigial emotion growing ever weary.
The wisest trees, will shake their roots clean.
We don't talk about the bodies and where there're buried.

A self fulfilling prophecy that has come to fruition. Rich frat boys, I've an aching suspicion. The human ant farm upon a corporation's shelf. Swallow jagged lies from the rotting prophet's mouth. The Godly are screaming as profits are headed south. "Please invite someone to church today".

Knocking on heaven's door with a bloody clinched fist is the goddamn polar opposite of Christ's teachings, lest there's something I've missed.
They've plastic boxes for us all. Holes pre-dug in which we fall. The weakened flock shall devour themselves.
Just a human art farm upon corporation shelves.

Polar Opposites

Guided by the very hand of God you right
The wrongs in perfect dramatic prologue
Written carefully no emotional sight
Do you want it, yes, no? Frowning frog
Kiss your imaginary prince
Imaginary your life's sense.
I dread the dark in your tensed up smile dear;
Kills the essence awhile and angrily sit
A spell till it passes and stills quiet here
Like a windless plain so deemed unfit
Dark widow, unbalanced life
Take my hand take this knife

Bleed for another, to stop within
Hell you feel your undying sin!

But you are not harmed, it is written!
Ever so clearly if you would have just listened!
Lo' the angels tears ask for clarity
Here it is, another chance for it;
Mental polity begs a polar opposite
So politely I beg your pardon's light
I kiss your cheek and send you off
To pull hell further down, chide its scoff;
Heaven kisses angels

The Two Kings

Democracy,
from birth til death,
two kings were crowned,
of polar opposite;

Crowned of each their own.

One to heal.
One to destroy.

One with love.
One with hate.

One to unify.
and one to separate;

...and with contrasting vision,
from the past to the future.

To either save the world
or enslave it.

The two kings will never meet;
...but their ideals will war forever.

notes: By two kings, I mean Martin Luther King Jr. and Peter King. One who sought
to unite the human species and to bring peace to the world, And one who seeks to
instill fear and racism to divide it.

You Dirty Rat

If infinity has no end, then where did it all begin?
Opinions were given by...
Theories pondered and the proof has been under Investigation by...
The private eye that was named:

Pessimistically closed for business;

A Complete Change In My Life

My life has taken a U-turn.
Everything I expected turned the polar opposite way.
Nothing I ever expected to stay the same was the same.
It is a mystery why nothing completely went away.
To the complete opposite I learned

My Changer

My Changer

If I was an inventor
A genius at anything
I'd invent a changer
With a switch in the center.

Then if things should
be fine tuned or updated
Just flick the switch
to make it all good..

Taking something totally new.
the polar opposite of before.
Like someone that acts first
would plan what to do

Then if it could stop any
bad weather before it hits
I could prevent destruction
Since there are far too many

The Unlikely Friendship of Chalk and Cheese

Chalk was bold, pale skinned, and big boned.
A soft souled, porous, sedentary teen.
Bulky, he made a big initial impression,
but seemed to lack in true substance.
And thus, was a temporary friend,
often relied on to help others with work,
but then discarded without a second thought.
Good thing Chalk brushed off comments with ease.

Cheese was very much an acquired taste,
with hooped earlobes and a waxy complexion,
quite rugged, yet packed full of character.
He wore a baggy beanie like a protective rind,
and from a glance, he could give you nightmares.
But behind his hard exterior, was a soft nature.
Easily influenced, he was often seen in a smoky hue,
chewing salty, sour snacks outside of class.

These two were really chalk and cheese,
yet their soft nature made them good friends.
Chalk helped Cheese get a grip and find his true flavour,
and Cheese was a rock for Chalk's sense of self.
Together, they were anything but, chalk and cheese,
yet never had they been more Chalk and Cheese.

Rant X

I want to write what I'm feeling inside as writer blocks denies.
Mix emotions in a bottle got me polar opposite
in limbo.
What a Surprise...
What a Surprise myself is trying ain't showing the truest feelings that lies.
