The Two Kings

Democracy,
from birth til death,
two kings were crowned,
of polar opposite;

Crowned of each their own.

One to heal.
One to destroy.

One with love.
One with hate.

One to unify.
and one to separate;

...and with contrasting vision,
from the past to the future.

To either save the world
or enslave it.

The two kings will never meet;
...but their ideals will war forever.

notes: By two kings, I mean Martin Luther King Jr. and Peter King. One who sought
to unite the human species and to bring peace to the world, And one who seeks to
instill fear and racism to divide it.

Two opposites as far as east and west, Michael! This is so profound. Always a fan, Annalise
