Best Point Of View Poems

Point of View
Barefoot in a field of daisies

hair blowing in the breeze

smile beaming ear to ear

babbling brook streaming nearby

A picture, no words

A story, unheard

Sunrays shining down

from the cerulean morning sky

a parasol twirling in her hand

shading those beamish eyes

The cottage of stone hidden

in a bed of spruce...

Point of View

Hag in the mirror
Squinting at me
Waiting and watching
A young face to see.

She doesn’t know
Face that stares back
Never thought she’d see
That old hag in black.

But here they are
Alone the two
Seeing each one
From own point of view.

A Pencil's Point of View
We are a jelly jar full of pencils new in town.
From Europe we came heads up, points down.
No fancy names, we shared the same woodshed
and thanked Welches jelly for this practical bed.

Lead was a number four and fatter than all.
Trim number twos, we all...

Premium Member Point of View
The birds woke me, before I was ready
But I opened my eyes to stand steady
First thing I did, was look out the window
Although the sky was gray, there was a glow
An orange strip of sunlight, in a sunrise show
Revealing beauty, in what would seem a...

Transit System
The underside of a gutter guard
Moved for mowing...
Destination - 7 feet away from home.
Stan the snail hitches a ride.

Amusement Park Ride
Clinging to the garage...

Premium Member Poets Point of View-- Letter To Myself
Is it words so hard to comprehend,
     That the poem lover, loves?
That a dictionary must be at hand,
Just to find the wings of doves.
Do they long for words that seem to flow,

A Mermaid's Point of View
They pollute our waters, the land, the air
They pollute the planet without a care

They kill our friends from down below
As they swim up to say hello

They build weapons to kill each other
They don't respect each race or colour

They try to hunt us in every way
But...

Women
A point of view

They – flowers of diverse, exquisite, exotic, mysterious beauty –
are beauties that are meant to feed the eyes of man,
are beauties that are meant to stimulate the minds of man,
are beauties that are meant to set fires in the hearts of man,
are...

BASEBALL IS ENTERTAINMENT
I LOVE PUTTING ON A SHOW
I GIVE IT MY BEST WIND-UP
LET THAT BASEBALL GO

SOMETHING ABOUT A STRIKE-OUT
A FEELING THAT THINGS WENT WELL
UNLIKE THE HOMERUN PITCH
WHERE IT FEELS THEY RANG MY BELL

I CONSIDER IT A CHALLENGE...

Hovering high above the world in my flying saucer
Unbelievable scenes witnessed by my seventeen eyes
Mankind is hell bent on trying to destroy the world
Acts of violence against innocent people
Nuclear war threats and terrorism on a global scale
Is it any wonder we Martians don’t want to...

Horses Point of View
•	My cowboy has walked me to this horse eating pit-
•	I think I should dance and jig and throw quite a fit-
•	Gators and snakes and no bottom in sight-
•	If I put my hoof in it something will bite-
•	The ditch is wide and the water is green-
•	I’m...

A Man's Point of View
A Man's Point of View

Oh woman you exist
To feed my soul
And nourish my heart
With your full embrace

I savour the taste
Of your strawberry lips
And inhale the aroma
From your creamy skin

Oh woman you exist
To feed my eyes
And nourish my mind
With your pure wisdom

Without you my existence...

Premium Member Selfie Or Call Me Insensitive
You call me insensitive,
But I don't believe that's true;
Because, you see,
It's all about me.
It's not about you.

You say your opinion doesn’t matter,
That I’ve no respect for your point of view;
But I do if we agree,
Because it’s all about me.
It’s not about you.

You say I’ve no...
