Point of View
The birds woke me, before I was ready
But I opened my eyes to stand steady
First thing I did, was look out the window
Although the sky was gray, there was a glow
An orange strip of sunlight, in a sunrise show
Revealing beauty, in what would seem a dim day
Hope has proven that it can find a way
To lift our spirits on any given day
So upon wakening, go ahead take a look
There will be beauty to steady all that shook
And when you seem to have that doubt,
Remember, the point of view is what it's about
