Light Verse
Her beauty draped, a silhouette divine,
The most beautiful woman, her grace defined.
Eyes like constellations, deep and profound,
Wisdom their gaze, a universe found.
Golden tresses cascade, a waterfall of light,
Soft as whispers, in the moonlit night.
Her skin, a canvas, where stories are told,
A tapestry of warmth, in hues untold.
A symphony of laughter, a melody sweet,
Intellect sparkles, in every thought she greets.
Her words, like poetry, dance in the air,
A reflection of brilliance, beyond compare.
Graceful as a swan, she moves with ease,
A dance of intellect, a gentle breeze.
Her smile, a sunrise, breaking the dawn,
In her presence, a symphony of sound.
The most beautiful woman, a blend so rare,
Physical allure, and intellect, so rare.
In her existence, a masterpiece is spun,
For she is the art, the moon and the sun,
Aunt Shirle Moore .

POETICALLY MIME
The vast ash-leaden clouds are in tears again...
The soggy tears like boxing fists - casting bruise
and blues below. Unlike yesterday where they
mirror gentle caress to branchlets and blossoms
smiling in gratitude as they are showered free,
the dust and dirt slithered to them were cleansed
swept by the warm - cold kisses of heaven's cry.
Condescending, blooming sunnier hues of greens,
standing poised and aplomb amidst, respiring anew!
Rainy days chant tunes of melancholy at times
particularly to those who are lost. Alone. Afar.
However, it has to happen for it is nature's rhyme.
Let it be as heaven's cry a bosom of poetic mime.

If I could sell away some baggage
Tears and fears would be first to list
My hubbies lackadaisacal attitude
My sore joints and perfectionist tendencies
My son's messiness and lack of sage
Clutter and papers need not exist
Inheritance clutter has in'eptitude
Weighing heavy on my thoughts

Well said, my poetically challenged friend...
Your insight is deep and telling of your sage,
Even if I can not understand your poetic wage,
Tell us more of your triumphs and travels,
And don't leave out the blotter and gavels,
For it is your frailty which entices,
The calling of the soul,
And unlocking of the mind...
For when we read of your glorious battle,
And become the fodder of which you prattle,
Remember that these are the days,
We relished the great dreams you gave,
Soon you will be left to your own devices,
Karma so apropos,
Balancing over time...
Then with great pride I will be able to say,
That I once met a poet untamed,
A free verse poet like you who has belched,
With nonconforming musings, true and heartfelt,
Oh what great cost the poets price is,
Always watching yet always alone,
All to capture truth sublime,
Again well said, my poetically challenged friend!

Personification
In the yonder realms of cloud nine, at the edge of my blue sky, lies a castle in the air, where my feet never touch the ground. Ideally situated off the beaten path, where if you have the notion, to swim the deep blue or surf the pipe dream, no one will say you’re a mental fig or figmental but have a fantastic legendary day. Flying above it all looking down, the only thing shadowy is the ground, where people are walking looking down, as they theoretically eat your pie in the sky. The flaky crust where their ideas rust Only if they see it again will they trust But I have this recurring dream And I don’t have to prove a seam while I am wrapped in the silver lining and they’re sitting in the dirt whining

Free verse
what some call insane, i call mental creativity
while some stay normal, i chose to plead insanity
to be normal is confinement of the mind
to be insane is true freedom of the mind
my insanity can be shown in many ways
by various actions or words on a page
my words alone can show you mental freedom
as i let u into my mind, the real insane asylum
my creativity goes beyond human sight
my words cut deeper than a thief in the night
my poetry leaves people sick in the brain
so most would call me poetically insane
