The Sky Cracked Open

"The Sky Cracked Open"

One day
the Sky cracked open
the yolk of life
shined through

Splinters shifted
blooded angel quills
flew amongst the
black spots in the iris

20/20 vision
wild joy ensued
imbued clearly
rapturous ambiguity

Don’t look back

this read
coded in the
chivalric Quixote
ridden on a donkey's back

it’s all fried

Prophetic
suspended
in control
of nothing

ah dreams
soft pillows
lots lost
pillars of salt

stasis
genesis

"For still the vision
awaits its appointed time;
it hastens to the end -
it will not lie.
If it seems slow,
wait for it;
it will surely come;
it will not delay."

“It's not that you should never
love something so much
that it can control you.
It's that you need to love
something that much
so you can never
be controlled.
It's not a weakness.
It's your best strength.”

Slips the Blue Satine

“Slips the Blue Satine”

Desire bites
a sonnet ripped
where the voice projects
through glossy cherry bit lips
down a telephone line
wrapped around long legs

speaking soft words
welcoming you in like a quilled whip

Freedom bites
a too serious sonnet smiles
then progresses to apply
velveteen kisses where the lips
tie a loose noose of words like pearls
around the sound conduit

curbing the mind
whispering to soft curves,

a roadmap
written across body
eyelids, flushed naked cheeks
neck down to hips
where the key turns
poetry speaks

blood drawn
the heart has teeth
Gaga’s gone
all evolutionary
too much of too much
she denudes the blue Satine easily

divesting all hopelessness of
the hounds barking
their haranguing hangdog habits
superlatives exaggerated
hyperbolical expressions of praise
blessed again in the wasted chronicles of time

her hand’s firmly fixed
around the gear stick

stilettos accelerate sharp
instructions from the driver’s seat
switching gears up
behind the fortune wheel
treasure sits
“pull your head back in”, she says

“the Lotus Eaters
at Loon Junction
are on the prowl,
they’ll tear you to bits”.
"humour me," he says,
"let me off my leash".

Tamam Shud

“Tamam Shud”

Handsome comes
as handsome goes

forgotten
not missed

lies waiting
intestate

a code
undeciphered

Mystery in the end -
far more interesting

answers calling
something whispers:

"Death -
open gate ...

Come in"

"Police found a book nearby
from which,
the piece of paper was torn -
the works of a 12th century poet -
and on the inside cover
found some sort of code,
and a local telephone number."

5. Tamam Shud / translate.

"In Persian "tamam" is a noun that simply means "the end" and it can also be used in the sense when something is finished or completed. The "shud" bit on the end is an auxiliary verb that puts it into the past tense, so "tamam shud" means "ended" or "finished".

Broken windows give no reflection
graffiti for those who can read

concrete streets are polluted rivers
passing shoes leave bodies in need

disillusion is a crumbled sidewalk
stretching to an intersection of who cares

empty eyes follow shadows that wander
stolen clothes from the morgue to wear

hope is a night's survival passing
when sounds of gunfire are heard

silence comes from gang handshakes
pigeons and crows the only bird

A bell that rings in the distance
the church the preacher will rob

players and pimps with tin cups
approach the stampeding mob

a moat of suburbs surround
gates to the castle are locked

guards at ramparts bleed blue
guns are always cocked

a cry only heard by those crying
in a dirty world of make believe

tomorrow finds another broken window
a rock by a child that can't leave

Premium Member Her Sin

Squatting next to a garbage bin,
she dons a fake smile that doesn't fit.
And though track marks tattoo her skin,
her addiction won't let her quit.

Abused by pimps and those she serves,
each encounter has left its mark.
And a cheap dress hugs girly curves,
as she shivers there in the dark.

Forced into a life of disgrace,
she feels she hasn't a single friend.
And her hair hides her haggard face,
trapped in the land of let's pretend.

Whispering sly, suggestive words,
she advertises sex for sale.
And propositions jocks and nerds,
feeling frightened, hungry, and frail.

Lewd proposals, oft crude and stark,
are overheard above the din.
And she sells herself in the dark,
praying God understands her sin.

Tell Me

Can it truly be
That the existence of you and me
Will be as if it never were
With no him and with no her?

Tell me.

Can it truly be
That the formation of a family
Will be a thing of naught,
An entity that time forgot?

Tell me.

Can it truly be
That our sacrifices to live free
Will count for little worthwhile,
Except for pimps primping in their guile.

Tell me.

Can it truly be
That universes without end
Are the happenstances of luck and chance
An invitation to join a celestial dance.

Tell me.

Can it truly be
That Mother’s scored back and hands
Were hardly signs of ceaseless labor
Only barely more than rendering us a favor.

Tell me.

Can it truly be
That the growing number of empty chairs
Symbolize nothing that need give pause,
Many of their occupants were rife with flaws.

Tell me.

Can it truly be
That when dreamless sleep owns mine and me
The toil and the striving and the loving we knew
Won’t matter as much as a robin’s fall call
Mind not that in earnest we gave life our all.

Tell me.

Premium Member The Streets

The words that follow are not so grand
Because of The Streets on our countries land
By day they are light, lived and free
As night fades they change you'll see

Community spirit grows and sprouts
As the evening draws, neighbourhoods ooze doubts
The person you seen hours before
Is not the person you will come to adore

Gangs pimps in a darkened craze
Can't stand the light in a living way
They need the shadows to hide their souls
To capture the innocent in their putrid folds

Prostituted girls, our sisters and nieces
Become use able pieces
Nephews and sons, given guns
Do a deed and become one

The slime that rule, cowards are they
Hire big boys to do their say
Taken in, by dollars and booze
Where once they were someone
What respect they lose

Why should the neighbourhood
Not be able to roam
In daylight or night
After all it's their home

The scum all around
Should disperse and flee
Out of The Streets
Of our towns and cities

If it's ever a road you have to go down
We should have the right to clear our town
Vigilante or law, what ever to be
Its our right
For The Streets to be free

Pulp

Pretty soon, night will fall upon the city,
And lives of crime animate spasmodically
As Gene Pitney croons “A Town Without Pity”
And the clubs and the gin joints open methodically.

Hepcat jazzmen smoke reefers, shoot junk,
The pimps clean their nails with switchblades laconically,
Fedoras pulled low as they mind-jive to funk,
And the neon lights crackle and buzz electronically,

Breast enhanced blondes catch the eyes of their johns,
Pouting and winking, the sale of depravity,
For a price any vice can be practiced upon
The surface of flesh, any crevice or cavity.

Cops pound the beat twirling nightsticks around,
Turning blind eyes for a bribe taken willingly,
Failure to pay brings the world crashing down,
“It just ain’t your day,” the cops whisper chillingly.

Wiseguys hold court in an old pizzeria,
Smoking and drinking and eating the scenery
Their empire of family governed through fear,
The rule of the gun and Sicilian ancestry.

Corporate needles pierce veins of the damned,
Chalk drawings map lines around death’s ideology
Cigarettes sparked and the siren howls slammed
Through the meanest of streets of pulp fiction mythology.

In the world of the scribe, this pulp writer hack
May exaggerate slightly for sake of the narrative,
Yet film noir seems grey when reality’s black,
At the end of the day everything is comparative.

Things ain't that good

where is the Brotherhood
I know that your policies your politics are not anything like the Republic
It's all about understood not bet your ways
are not to be subjected not caught running away
ain't going to help me no
Things ain't that good
keeping it to yourself just won't work out yo
we all know that shoveling once a day won't get rid of the snow oh no
things ain't that good
what we need brother is National Brotherhood I know
 that things ain't that good
it's not quite what it should
and seems to be in the ghetto
things ain't that good
and they're not going to get any better
I know that things ain't that good for you or me brother
tell me people why all the wars
pimps out on the corners of the streets at night
 why all the whores
I know at your policies are not and that you rather not be subjected or caught running away ain't going to help none of us
know keeping it to yourself just won't work out no

that things ain't that good
Deep depression

Things ain't that good

I know that for you and

New York City - Midtown

No Mickey, Minnie, or Goofy- no Jimmy The Cricket
The spirit of Sodom is Gomorrah...what I see is plain "Wicked"

Neon lit buildings and business bright nights...
A terse description of 8th Ave - I see somethings not right

Jailbait pimps fishing for girlish age bodies
Port of Authority freaks craving school boy young hotties

A bunco, a scam - the cards of "Monte" are three...
White kids from Jersey seeking fake/fresh Ids

Cabbies waiting for fares/get their plates/it's too late
Little courtesy or English and overpriced rates

Electronic stores, you have restaurants; a myriad of stands
                                        that vend snacks

You can have a wad roll of money, yet still looked at if Black

The Homeless Are Human, it's the truth not conjecture
It seems to keep them sans housing gives Midtown its texture

Fleabag hotels are great bargains/I've heard there's four legged pests
You've paid your money - there's danger, but you still can't have guests

Mounted units, Blue grunts to keep the rich ones protected
The last Toe Tag said "No One", why wasn't that crime detected?

A Vagrant says that he's hungry to everyone that he greets
You can't see the flame touch the Pyrex/it's the crack that he eats

On the trains I see animals, sometimes you'd think a new species
Most of those stations need cleaning....in my sight Human Feces

Poetiq visions/my heart troubled/ I had no choice but expound
It goes down daily in the Crab Apple/New York City....Midtown

Premium Member Sin City

Sin City is where I long to be.
With all, it's frivolous activity.
Vegas is the place to be!

The wild excitement in the air
I know the hot scorching sun is a bear.
But still, there's excitement everywhere.

Back down the alleyways.
Truly lies hidden mysteries
Backstreet lovers'

Or even worse.
Someone's taken it.
And left you uncovered.

But apart from the ally-ways
And the pimps and drug dealers.
The worn-out and left behind hopeless.

Sin City is where I long to be.
With all, its bright lights
Vegas is the place to be.

The Best Creation Is Female

What kind of woman are you

Allowing men to mentally control you

To only be seen as a pleasure component

From most men your body is their land or playground for sin

I say land because your body bares tasty fruit men love to eat

No man should use the woman to mistreat or beat

If anything a man should walk a woman in the right direction in the street

Or into a home as his Empress

However many men would rather a good woman settle just as his mistress

I know its not your intent

For a man to play with your mental

Remember your body is made to be fertile

Worth investing in physiologically

But you allow your mind to be controlled psychologically encouraged by players & pimps

Woman should teach girls to see the real woman outside & conscious personality within

It's hard to understand a woman's excuse for stripping

Using a phrase "it's for college"

Not thinking men visualize showing your female body for dollars is just one of your problems

We enjoy to treat

But since your beautiful you should demand respect

It doesn't matter what level your living through an intellect

A females beauty has three phases

First its heard through the mouth

Then exemplifies through the personality

Lastly from the bright radiance of your smile & skin

That shines by the sun as a reflects from the face

Always know that your self esteem can always be replaced

With self assurance not insecurity

Know your the center of a mans universe

Planets circulate around you

If its not true then stay hidden I guarantee men & our world would not know what to do
