Enhanced by peaceful solitude, in twilight, crimson crowned
She stood in tensile grace, unmoved. Enchantment in disguise
Lightly splashed by back light, where the tender grass had grown

A white tailed doe, was grazing there, aware and keen of eye
She perked up ears, alert for sound, yet, still she had not flown
Dare I break the silent calm, with breath or just a sigh?

Or take a step, in chance my foot might rustle twig or loam?
This stance of wills,...intense and poised. Would she dare to flee?
She perked up ears, alert for sound, yet still she had not flown

A monumental moment, as she stood before my eyes
First stabbed by startled fear, new trust came pouring down
There, in tensile grace she stood, enchantment in disguise

Caressed in beauty, and sun embraced, revealed for me alone
Dare I break the silent calm, with breath or just a sigh?
First stabbed by startled fear, new trust came pouring down

Eyes made of glass, as windows are, in which the iris tongue
We made no move...each one transfixed, no air in lungs to breathe
So inter-laced, with life force crossed, in universal one
Our spirits twined against the sky, beneath the copper trees

Premium Member Awakened From a Deep Sleep

In the sunshine on the living-room rug
Sparkles was asleep in the sun
How I longed to give her a hug
He ears perked up from her sleep
When she heard a Dove's sing
        Quickly she bounded
         To the glass door
          On the floor
           She sat
            Stared

Premium Member Randy Rudolph

`Twas Christmas Eve and in the air a chill
Rudolph had to stand down cos he felt ill
Santa started to panic
So he sent for a medic
Who in error gave Rudolph a blue pill.

He soon perked up and was raring to go
Santa was pleased and shouted ho ho ho
But then a surprise
Between the stags thighs
Rudolphs man thing was beginning to grow.

Surprised Santa just looked on in dismay
As Rudolph managed to break from the sleigh
A deer park he went
Picked up some doe's scent
And with every doe had his wicked way.

Premium Member Only Slade's Brain

Tim was the new judge in Deadwood Flat
Not really qualified, just a rancher at that
He first case was of the outlaw, Horace Slade
Caught red handed in a cattle raid

The jury took ten minutes to recommend the noose
Better than letting this rattlesnake loose.
Tim smoothed out his robe, asked Slade to speak
Slade perked up, though his future was bleak

"It was only my brain, my brain it was me.
Badly constructed, that's how I plea
My thoughts, my feelings, my crooked way
All preprogrammed in my DNA!

"You see Dad was a member of the cardshop mob
Mom always drunk, and moreover a slob
My twin set a cat on fire at the age of three
So, who could predict much hope for me?

Tim panicked, searched his dictionary
Couldn't find DNA, wished he was on the prairie
He had never heard that excuse before
But said to Slade, "proceed, tell us more"

Slade felt hope, and got on a roll
He said "ain't no such thing as a soul'
"I know the computer hasn't been invented yet
"But we're programmed, coded, our path in life set!

"I shot a man to watch him die
Then partied at the bar for an alibi
Not my fault, an MRI would have shown
My limbic system, quiet as a stone.

The jury murmured, Tim gave a sigh
What was a computer, or an MRI?
Slade's nonsense was going too far
Slade could have used a lesson in better P.R.

Tim said, "I hope what you say is not true
I like soul and spirit, the afterlife too.
But either way, some feelings I can't transcend
My brain wants your pointless existence to end!

They planned to hang Slade on the Alder tree
Justice would be served, jury did agree
Then Slade tried a ploy, to explain his crime
He yelled "I'm a traveler through time!"

"I come from the year 2024
DNA, MRI, computers and more
Got stuck in a time warp, had to survive
You'd do the same to stay alive"

They had to let Slade go, agreed he's insane
Tim didn't like to do it, it went against the grain
But Deadwood Flats couldn't hang a guy
Who believed in computers, DNA, and MRI!

Premium Member A Beach Within My Reach

I am a basset hound and I love to play
I can run and jump all day
I really love magic and tricks
I also love chocolate bics
Yummy! They are so good
I would eat a packet a day if I could
My name is Lady and here is a story all about me
I'm a funny looking dog you see:

Lady was home alone
All she had was her green plastic bone
Her owners had gone out for the day
And Lady really wanted to play
Miserable, she lay on the ground with her long floppy ears
With watery eyes, it seemed as though she was about to burst into tears
Suddenly she perked up when she heard a squeaking sound coming from the house
Lady became excited, she hoped it was a mouse
She barked out loud and ran towards the sound
Lady was such a clever basset hound
With her long nose, she sniffed out the little mouse in his hiding place
The whole morning turned into a playful ‘dog and mouse’ chase!
The mouse was too fast for her and escaped through a small crack in the wall
He was terrified of this funny looking dog who stood two feet tall
Exhausted, Lady flopped down in her basket to rest
She had tried her very, very best
She closed her eyes and had a long nap
And dreamt that she managed to squeeze through the scary dog flap
When Lady woke up, her throat felt dry
She needed a gallon of water to drink and she alone knew why!
The sun was shining and it was hot
She found her bowl and gulped down the lot
Lady looked at the new dog flap
She lifted up one of her paws and gave it a sharp tap
She took a chance and pushed herself through the gap
Relief flooded through her, she had made it out of the flap
Out in the sun
It was time for more fun
Lady headed to the beach
It wasn’t far, within her reach
Calm blue sea with the tiniest of waves
Grottos and amazing caves
Lady’s paw marks were all over the sand
She loved to play by the sea and on land
Cool air blew around her as she splashed around in the sea
What a great feeling it was to be free!
The aroma of food was all around
She was always hungry, this hilarious hound
An ice-cream van was parked nearby
Lady drooled and just stood by
A young couple spotted the little dog sitting down on her own
Her sad brown eyes caught their attention, they each bought her a cone
Lady wished that she could shout
She clenched both cones in her mouth
She licked off the chocolate ice-cream and wolfed down the rest

Premium Member Have a Great Weekend

A funny do is a funny don't
Don't believe me?
Say I tell you "do talk nonsense"
It means you make no sense
So don't
If I tell you "do cheer up"
You will be so perked up
So you don't do it any more
Lol believe me yet?
No?
If I tell you "do do it"
You are going to think I order you
So you don't do it
Psychology my friend
Ahh what do I know?
Hey nobody is going to feel down okay?
Because it is weekend
Starting right now
You can leave the work load behind
Don't take home with you
It can be alone for a few days
No point of having it impeded on your weekend
This time is yours
Still feeling down?
Just think somebody thinks you're wonderful
I wonder who
Me you fool
Anyhow try to have a cheery weekend
And I will talk to you later

Midnight Tolerance

A delusory pleasure bristled the solitary abator
And the dusky night rides down the sky
An ethereal beauty demoed with her au naturel demeanor
The solitary abator bumps with illusions, thus far realisms high.

Elated with red-hot mysticisms the abator closed his eyes
And mildly felt the zephyr over the mum wispy time
She reposed in her bareness beside his devout envies
The abator fluffed up ca-cacing his limbs to ease with spirit and bine.

An awaited soul perked up with flavour of lust and zeal
And the midnight silence prolonged to be livening with insidiousness
She abreast herself over his frvid spirit of unreal
The abator matte-up bosoming her with barmy tenderness.

The ravenous abator intimated himself in the same state of bareness
And the dark moonless night beamed with perfect ecstacy and elan
She ooohed legalizing the demon-ridden enduringness
The abator held himself with an abrupt spasmodic movement of his organ.

The wonky estrus abator coaxed himself with the pleasure of onanism
And the gentle breeze was felt to soothe the pragmatism
Slowly her au naturel beauty faded, idling the eroticism
Bequeathing the abator's midnight oneirism.

Vicars

There once were two elderly vicars
Who had unreliable tickers
But they perked up no end
When they saw a lass bend
And got a good view of her knickers

The Lone Ranger Gets Punned

The Lone Ranger and Tonto strode into saloon
To get out of the sun and heat of the noon

They stood at the bar; their thirst the beer quenching
When through the doors came a cowboy crashing

He asked in a puff ‘Whose white horse is outside?
He’s down on his back and it looks like he’s died”
“That sure sounds like Silver”, Tonto replied

The three rushed outside to find horse belly up
The Lone Ranger poured water in mouth from tin cup

Poor Silver just lay there and sighed with a wheeze
“Could you run round in circles and stir up a breeze”?
Said the Ranger to Tonto and pleaded with “Please”?

Silver perked up when the draft round him rose
“Looks like his death was mis-diagnosed”

The Lone Ranger returned to finish his beer
As a cowboy burst in wearing old dusty gear
Inquiring about horse his intent was too clear
“What’s wrong with him now”? not wanting to hear

The cowboy spoke up and said “Nothing” with cunning
“But I think you left your Injun running”

Seasonal Sensational Love

 Seasonal sensational Love

These lovely eyes bracing the glimpse of Trees, Mountain,
And Rain in parallel, Falling in its pioneeringly expressive ways!!
Clutching my attention, Serene beauty stickered on my Heart,
Tantalizing with the rhythm of jazzy shake,
Rain pounded against my window!!

Ringing bells lighted the inner peace,
Mountains dwelled with the green nature band,
Paced off those lovely yards,
The garden green snippet filled my soul with the refreshed air!!

The sun rising across the bay,
            Inter tranquillity fluorescenced my soul.
Praising vociferously with the theme of attitude towards life,
Around the globe wanted to face the Life's fate.

Ruby red sun tinged through the west,
Water falling through the Cleavage of the mountains!!
Rainbow flashing against my eyes like a mist in heavenly arcade.
Thumping night life on the bustling island amazed me!!

The white cotton sky,
Plugged in with vivid spectrum in depth!!
Immersed in deep ruby eyes of her,
Neither the constraints of latitude and longitude,
Just bouncing the sunshine forever!!

Bracing with rose gold moon in its arms with the twilighting stars,
Perked up with full of energy!!
Rejuvenated with full joy,
The strength of spark instigated my feelings towards you!!

Harmonious accord establishing the ceasefire,
By showering rain to melt the temperature of boiling sun!!
Opening the switches of my heart,
                Stimulating the senses,
You will find desire of Love towards you!!

Melancholy rain, Cinerous sky,
               Blazing eyes, Peasant walkaway!!
Just can’t forget You Honey,
Life has quite often solaced my eyes,
Glow of cotton rubbing socket of vision throughout years!!

Your eyes,
               I love you baby!!
Your smile,
I like that way You come and cheers my heart blazing my soul!!
Baby just come in my life cleansing my broken heart,
               Baby you come back please!!
And then only you will find the peck on the cheek!!
               Staring in my direction,
You attracted me again, occupying the vacant space of my heart!!
Come again, please heal my heart!!

Premium Member Good Riddance

What good would it do to have everything
And you have nothing
You can never claim anything as your own
Because anything is owned by God
Your friends, your possessions, the people that you love
You don't have nothing
God determines it like that
When you don't have nothing
That is when you have everything
Am I talking in jumbles?
Why does God want it like that?
Why does He want you to jump a lot of hoops
Only to the end to leave everything
He is nuts!
That is all I can say
Kidding aside God
Forgive me but there is no logical reason
for what You say
for what You do
And I don't want to think of it
As You are going to do something else anyway
No one can figure it out, You out
And I gave up trying
I like things the way they are
You say - NOT
Okay I don't like the ways things are
You say.....what?
(My ears perked up listening to You)
He knows when I don't mean it
There is no way getting around You
I gave up
You got it God
Whatever You want
Whatever You say
I don't careeeeeeeeeeeeee
Lol
I do care
That is the problem! Lol

He Walks No More

He walks the moonlit moor,
With eyes all aglow,
Hunting down his next victim,
Bringing death unto us all.

His ears are perked up,
Listening to the sounds,
That fill the night sky,
From the bats to faint footsteps,
And horses neighing in the distance.

He makes his way through the woods,
Seeing the faint lights of the streetlamps,
Showering light upon a figure,
Huddled beneath it's glow.

He licks his lips,
Tasting the fresh blood that will soon,
Fill his slathering jaws,
The tender flesh tearing in his teeth,
The high shrill screams echoing into the night,
That will end in bitter silence.

Moving through the woods,
Keeping his eyes plastered to the figure,
Knowing if he looks away for a moment,
His victim may flee without a warning,
And thus he may be vulnerable to the hunter.

For aeons he's wandered the world,
From Japan to the Polynesian Islands,
And now the US is where he resides,
Feasting on the aristocratic flesh,
Of prominent families.

He stops at the edge,
Turning his head,
Looking for any that may stop him.
Nothing but the figure seems to haunt the night,
Beneath the fading streetlight.

Thrusting himself out, he runs,
Forcefully through the thickened night,
Towards the careless human,
Claws stretched out before him,
With blood-lust burning within his eyes.

Suddenly he stops and lunges,
Landing on top of the person,
And begins ripping at their throat,
Realizing there is no blood,
Is when he feels a sharp pain in his side,
And drops to the ground.

His yellow eyes look about,
And see a figure in the dark,
Smoke fills the air around it,
It's the hunter he fears,
He tries to scramble to his feet,
But is brought down by another piercing pain.

The figure moves closer,
A barrel of a gun comes sliding into the light,
Followed by the figure wearing dark clothes,
Walking slowly through the night,
Gun pointing down at the beast,
That lay wounded before him.

He musters up enough strength,
To lift his heavy body,
And tries to lunge,
Bang!!!
Is the last thing his ears register.

Ode To a Love I'Ve Long Dreampt Of

I was a broken down man with many problems to sort
You raised my head from the sand and stood me straight as a sword.
I turned to clay in your hands indeed I need to be formed
And all it took was the touch from a soul that is warm.

Then right away from that day that you stepped in my life
I started finding the strength that I had lacked for some time.
I've had a long war with hurt which I could barely sustain
But all the love that you give to me erases the pain.

So now savior baby, oh lovely one, I need you all of my days
I'll hold you tight, make sure all is right as we draw near and lock in loves embrace.

If ever again I feel down and out and begin to feel incoming blues
I'll simply glance up and be promptly perked up as my eyes retain a glimpse of you.

So my lovely lady with angelic flesh I need you all of my life.
I dream of a day in which I'll take you away and create you into a wife
But until that day I'm not ashamed to say I'm content just holding your hands.
You will be my everything and I'm forever your man.

So my classy woman with the goddess eyes I dreamed of you for many years
When you found me down with my head in the ground I knew I had nothing to fear.
Right away I knew it was the day my troubled life had finally reached it's end
With the ending of fear I began to see clear, it had to go, so true love could begin.
