~~~Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite~~~
An all round performer was Mr William Kite
He trained and rode horses, but also walked the rope tight
He worked for Pablo Fanqué the Wells Circus owner in 1842
But his work gave inspiration for John Lennon to do.
Mr William Kite would never have dreamed.
That his skills as a performer would inspire a song theme
As he performed on his head, while balancing on a rope
A trumpet in his mouth, and he played a damn fine note.
When he was with John Sanger, who was equestrian minded
William appeared for a spectacular night, the poster has reminded
The celebrated horse called Zanthus was even there
With Mr William Kite to perform - boy what a pair
This poster impressed John Lennon so...
It inspired him to write about William and the show
Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite, the poster does show
Inspired quite a few lyrics as all Beatles fans will know.
What they may not know - but I am impressed
There is a man called David with whom I am blessed
He is the great great grandson of William by whom Lennon was inspired
But better than that David is my half brother it has so transpired.
The Beatles Album Cover is "Sergeant Peppers Lonely Heartclub" which potrays the poster of Mr Kite
Destiny 3( 1st May 1977 ) : )
If gloom descends; Capsicum appends:
Removing dooms in plumes of red lumens.
Biological conversion from stagnation to movement.
Shaman, brother, lover, friend.
Bold holistic resolute.
Unequivocally coalesced in this; a magnificent fruit.
Hot
peppers
burn swiftly
but, when eaten
every day they will
prevent the pain
of heartburn.
they are
friends.
I was walking in India's jungle (Dehra Dun)
At the Himalayan foothills, alone
Ten thousand years before Christ was born
I spied a plant, barely a meter tall
Graced with red and green fruit: "May I?"
I prayed to the gods before taking or tasting
Both were pungent; tears jumped to my eyes
But I felt elated. With permission, took five
To the village shaman, brahmin, Tulsi Das Ji
After a few days, he told me "CAPSICUM!"
We had discovered the anti-depressant, Chilli
I thanked the gods I had not died in my science
Of looking, abetting, praying, tasting, seeking
Tulsi Das would make self-healing with food
After growing more plants from the red seeds:
He (and I) had discovered Masala, hot pepper spice
For you and me. No, thanks, no royalties required
Nine thousand years ago, a mother was desperate
Chatal Huyuk, was her village, in Turkey of today
She walked through fields and veld, scouring all
With eyes and prayers, asking Creator gods to help
Find something to feed her children. She heard Him
(She did not know it was YAH, the great I Am)
She found herself in a field of grass, rich in amber grain
She was wise to have already used barley, with stones
To make flour and bread. But This was WHEAT - better bread
Was ahead for all, everywhere, for she too asked no patent
She, a mother, in sacrifice gave the world bread
Heralding Jesus, BREAD OF HEAVEN, the manna in wilderness
The Body in the Communion, to feed us inside and out. Praises!
Medium stuffed bell peppers
All full of good eats
Like wild rice dotted with corn
Tomato paste and
Onion smothered in
Hot Swiss cheese
Superb!
My jalapeno peppers
Taste buds on fire
I reach in the jar for more
Jodie Foster is frying peppers and eggs ~ it is late and her legs
ache as she scrambles the yokes, sautés jalapenos.
Today a jerk again compared her to the movie star ~a life she
never wanted keeps invading her reality, even though she was
born earlier, people consider her the fraud; the fake, the
`knock-off.'
Not for the first time she imagines changing her name, but always
there is a fear of not being compared to anything at all.
There is a loud noise upstairs. She freezes, she recalls
the movie -`Panic Room.' She runs to her downstairs closet,
bolting the door behind her. Footsteps descend - it is Jodie Foster
in her role as Agent Starling. Jodie has a gun and is seeking
her rapist from a previous movie.
Scripts are merging. The Jodi who cooks peppers and eggs
understands why she has always avoided cliffhangers - suspense
thrillers. She cries softly in the dark as she clutches
a Dollar Store spatula, a utensil that will never work
as well as a real branded weapon.
Watch
Said Father
To me and my brother
As my sister
And mother
folded clothes and
did other chores
for sisters mothers
Watch said Mother
As father dug his fingers
into the pre plowed ground
Planting pole beans, peppers,
And tomato plants with flowers
Water
Said Father
That the plants may live
And give us meals
In the future
Watch
said Father
and learn
24 Dr Peppers
One day I started running and my legs fell off.
I was in the army, and I had to clean the floor with a toothbrush.
It started raining sideways.
Then a bullet jumped up and bit me that day.
Jenny threw her shoe at her old house.
I guess she ran out of rocks.
I was with Jenny, and I became the minute man.
That’s all I’m going to say about that.
I had 24 Dr. Peppers, and I had to pee.
My mom made some strange noises because she cared about my school grades.
Me and Jenny are like peas and carrots.
Jenny played a guitar naked, and I saw her butt.
For a while I owned a shrimp boat.
When I first met Lieutenant Dan, he was holding a roll of toilet paper.
I like playing ping pong in the spring.
One day I gave Lieutenant Dan some ice cream.
Jenny, is he smart like me?
No Forest. He is dumb as a coconut tree.
You never know what you're going to get in a box of chocolates.
All just put my hands in my pocket.
Me and Lt. Dan are best friends.
I like dancing to Sweet Home Alabama.
I can’t forget about Bu Bu.
Another friend of mine who likes shrimp gumbo.
Me Lt. Dan and Bu Bu are the three amigos.
Jenny will always be my hero.
I love you
aint no doubt about it
I'll stand on the
roof to shout it
I love you...
I wanna know
I just got to know
I'm I a fool
to let my feelings show
I need to know
do you love me
I gotta know
I need to know
dificult to start
guess thats my fault
try to keep it
interesting
don't know that much
alotta blah and
such and such
but I guess it'll all get better
aint much to talk about
let's just talk about
us together
I guess I should have
shout my mouth
since I didn't know
what I was talking about
I did enjoy our time together
wanna do it again
this time
I'll be your man
we can do it all
spend our time
loving one another
let's do it right
thats outta sight
your smile us together
