Best Occasion Poems
I want to be
your special occasion
To see you smile
like you’re on vacation
That in a cool sorta way
I’m your happy activation
I want to know
you see and hear me
That there’s nowhere else
you’d rather be
I want to be invigorated
full inside not empty
I want to be
your ocean and sun
temporarily extraordinary
your truly special one
The perfect cup of tea
you won’t share with anyone
I want to be
that special book you can’t close
the one that make you tingle
from head to toes
To be in a picture together
doing some silly pose
I wish and want to be
the first joyful thought of your day
That I can be a glorious song
to which you sway
Yes, to be your special occasion
that is better than okay!
For you my sweet love
are my special occasion
When I see you smile
I’m on vacation
In the coolest best way
you are my happy activation
I am thankful for my sweetie
Thanks for being my special one.
Singular and thus finite
begins the spiral's spinning plight
of eminent foretold collision
love commences in a vision
Unbeknownst before the time
an effigy that burns the mind
now filters clear, emotions raw,
the present image striking awe
Eyes and hair on perfect face
with pouted mouth, the heart doth race
into the thoughts, how to proceed?
laggardly? ...with godly speed?
Clumsily one gathers poise
do thine drums work? there is no noise
at the point, this cosmic stead
a vocal soul must forge ahead
Words abashed but striking through
perceived by them, return to you
is that a chorus sounding there?
without belief just simper stare
Lives become one single strand
as two entangle by the hand
joy begins to warmly swell
for fate's occasion, two hearts fell
A beautiful time, the slightest breeze
We yearn to be more than lost
Your charm so delightful, alluring
Warm to my every thought
The beauty of life's song
Sings so sweet in our minds
On occasion our souls will play
Among the ruins within our hearts
Delighted in everyday life
Intimately peaceful with every breath
In Jerusalem's Holy Temple
the High Priest entered
the Holy-of-Holies once a year
on that Holiest of Days, Yom Kippur
From the top of his exotic, oriental turban
dressed for the occasion was he
Dazzling gems on a breastplate of gold
bells ringing from his cloak for you and me...
...to know when he'd entered to beseech of the Lord
forgiveness and pardon for every Jew's sins
Uttering the Name of the Ineffable One ~
a most solemn proposition
And though dressed for the occasion was he
how humbling to stand, as if naked, in front of God Who
had custom-stitched every inch of his garments ~
commanded him on Yom Kippur what he should do
Night breaking up for the sun to fall,
Its colorwise veil disperse on her snagged back—
By morning, she lays her black cup down
For she is the will of light.
Its colorwise veil disperse on her snagged back,
Dark worthy of van Gogh or Kinkade;
For she is the will of light—
The night becomes daybreak.
Dark worthy of van Gogh or Kinkade;
By morning, she lays her black cup down;
The night becomes daybreak—
Night breaking up for the sun to fall.

In my chair, atop an old phone book,
I sat as proud as can be.
My first time at the grownup table,
surrounded by company.
I lifted the edge of the table cloth,
and felt the smooth wood beneath.
Solid maple, hand oil rubbed,
I counted eight chairs underneath.
Earlier that day, I heard Gram exclaim,
"It's time to stretch that table."
So, off Grandpa went to the attic,
while Gram toiled over pots and kettles.
Then I watched as Grandpa and Mom,
pulled the table sections out of their sleeves.
You knew it was a special occasion,
when Grandpa put in the table leaves.

They seem confetti
falling on a long parade
to welcome Autumn
Monday will be a momentous occasion
Going back to meet old friends
To where we spent eight glorious years
True friends right to the end
Well how fortunate can two people be
To have lived in this happy place
Where everyone knows you and says hello
With a happy smile on their face
A happy place called Utopia comes to mind
Which may seem a bit over the top
Down home coziness is a good description
It expresses this emotion nonstop
Circumstances forced us to leave our friends
An extremely sad time in our lives
To renew the bonds if for only a short while
Old friendships will be revived

SPOKEN BROKEN WITH MY HEART MIND STAYED ON GOD ON ALL OCCASIONS
Lord I need you I need the more of you
I need to place you more to be in the center of my life
My every fiber my every being needs to be physical and spiritual in alignment
See I need the more of you in my life
I don't need to be whole in my way
I don't need to be whole as Humanity says
I need to be broken remote is remade with my eyes stayed on you
SPOKEN BROKEN WITH MY HEART MIND STAYED ON GOD ON ALL OCCASION
I need to be broken, broken in you as broken pieces Sacrificed I need to be remolded, reshaping be remade in you
Lord O'God place me on the potter's wheel
I need the present of you first without God I am nothing
You giving me life I have a yearning I have a thirst
As the presence of God tends to my yield
Broken me Lord fill me use me
Without you I'm nothing I want to be like a thirsty dear Panting for Your water
I want to be an instrument for you to help through you save your sons and your daughters O'Father
SPOKEN BROKEN WITH MY HEART MIND STAYED ON GOD ON ALL OCCASION
I need to be broken shattered in pieces corruptured separated from everything not liking to you
Remolded reshapen fill up in you
So full illuminated all they see Humanity when they look at me all they see is just you
I need to be splintered and crushed lit set apart from Anything not like you be focused set viewed
I stayed my mind on you
Ruptured and torn to be reborn rebirth
Bible verse lead to Jesus, thinking of only you first
I am broken to be remade structurally shape- remade
In the likeness of You for what I do
God I'm nothing without you
Father remade me I'm a chosen one
Who can say I am not definitively Your child a Child of God
Got my mind, heart, soul and eyes on My Father God
Shabar sacrifice breaking in peace I'm broken in God

Grace under pressure
Unflappable class
Overtones of elegance
Strength of brass.
Tending splendid gardens
Where laughter and fun
Sprout as if native
In the warmth of her sun.
Incensed by thoughtless actions
Yet steady in her mood
Mixing sweet persuasion
With wisdom for food.
A Virgo mom’s a blessing
For one raised in her nest
So just today this Taurus says
That Virgo is the best!
Was having gala time with friends in Niece's marriage function
Spirited friends thought of having bhang* for fun of rarity
Greedy of mild floater effect, scary of hangover, finally gave in for fun
Toast raised with glass of 'bhang', few more and began party
Intoxicated, Laughing Monster seized me, laughed with insanity
Friends tried all to normalise laughing tantrum
But monstrous laugh only gained momentum
Panic mounted, as I was summoned by Panditji*for marriage ritual
As a maternal unclr, had to perform customary ritual with bride-groom
Stuck with intoxicated laugh, but serious was ritual, embarrassed one and all
Gained normalcy post ceremony, cursed self, all fired, pity having no room
Pledged never to indulge in bhang, took a life-time vow soon
Marriage album without my ritual snap, still condemns me
Memory of laughing devil, on happy a occasion still saddens me
..................................................................................................................................
PS (*) :
a) Bhang - Indian hemp, a milk concoction, having potential of ***** intoxication
& narcotic effect. Intoxication high results in mad indulgence of repetitive action
for many hours. The action, one is engaged in at the beginning time of knock-out
state perpetuates for many hours e.g if one was laughing... he will continue to
laugh for many hours....
b) Panditji – Priest performing marriage ritual

Grapes
sunbathing and ripened in the sun
hanging on the vine
barrels of well-balanced and harmonious wines
the older it becomes, the more refine
pour into long stemmed glasses
to capture the perfect amount of aroma
a sniff
a sip
a swirl around the taste buds
an expert judge of fine wine
drink slowly and enjoy
while dining ,
while reading,
while writing,
or romantic moods
no blushing
drinking wine
its fine

She received flowers today
from her husband the radio Dee Jay,
they had their first dispute last night
cruel words spoken in this mis-matched fight.
Yet all is forgiven he didn’t mean it at all
the flowers he sent her, the bunch was not small.
She received flowers today
it was not her birthday or anniversary,
last night he threw her down the stairs
before commencing to throttle her.
She awoke sore and bruised
but knew he was sorry because—
She received flowers today
it was not mother’s day or a special day,
the nurse in charge put them in a vase
sorry for his wife who slipped against the wall.
Her eyes remained closed while the respirator pulsated
but the nurse knew he love her because—
She received a bouquet today
all her favourite colours of red pink and blue,
along with the wreath placed on her coffin
it was the day of her funeral.
Last week he finally killed her
but the wake knew he loved her because--!

The votes of the folk of The Vize
Be all Tory, well there's a surprise
The hills are all blue
With a loud tally hoo
What's to do? I don't know but one tries
