Upon my sunshine when yesterday rains
Dwelling in my present uninvited
Clueless of today's closing arguments,
The joy of tomorrow my new-dawn claims

No point whispering to lovelorn woes
When I can sweet-talk to portrait of love,
And paint my canvas in vibrant brush-strokes
Exactly as I wish to see you tomorrow

In the domain of yore, yesterdays rile,
Today's much better when I see your smile
But in your tomorrow is the mystical draw
Holding secret promise of heavenly awe

If the past takes back to a wintry storm
And all I recall is the shrouded form
I think of the way the seasons change
As the Spring of tomorrow shines your day

Yesterday's twilight warns dusk of today
Stars of the night don't come out every day
But hope is eternal and patience does pay
If I wait till tomorrow, I will have my say

When glorious daybreak smiles on my sky
Vanquishing doubts my dreams fly high
Not a hint of the known obstructs my view
As the allure of tomorrow I rejoice in you

In the domain of yore, yesterdays rile,
Today's much better when I see your smile
But in your tomorrow is the mystical draw
Holding secret promise of heavenly awe

Premium Member The Light and the Veil

The Lord is my salvation and my light,
the stronghold of my life, whom shall I fear?
Protecting when the foe attacks by night;
the prayers of his children he will hear.
O holy Lord, my sin has been a veil,
a waywardness that blinds my eyes to you;
a poisoned cloud I willingly inhale
that dulls the spirit and obstructs the view.
One thing I ask, Lord; this is what I seek:
to gaze upon the beauty of your face.
The dark is often strong and I am weak,
remove this veil that I may see your grace.
Yet now we walk by faith and not by sight
until we see, with brand new eyes, your light.

Premium Member Elegant Dance

Rhythmic pose arcs lifting elegant ambience
Graceful dance enshrines artful renascence
Visceral posture invites emotional response
Festive celebration of aesthetic renaissance.

Attired in red and blue of simple elegance
Glorious style augments swirling excellence
Left arm risen high points gracious eminence
Finger tips lift vivid attire in quiet eloquence.

Golden bangles adorn wrists flirting in stare
A lone yellow flower crowns her silky hair
Folded right arm obstructs in a defiant dare
Index finger hides grief, eyes closed in prayer.

Head turned right, arched with sculpted flair
Tense neck muscles manifest muted despair
Open fingers gesture a stealth grievous flare
Air of intellectual grandeur opulently glares.

Ponder why the painter didn't show her eyes
Discover invisible pain vibrant colors disguise
Beneath the splendor lies a hidden surprise
Cultural dance-music echoes her silent cries.

Premium Member Law and Order

So, it starts years ago, with protests in the streets
People allowed to lay on the road, block traffic
Then, start fires, attack police, as they’re told to stand down!
Criminals with 18+ offenses free to roam as they please
Thousands others were released from prisons by Obama
Illegal immigrants were allowed to surge into our country
All while violating laws, without consequence!

Now, we have a new president accused of obstruction
While Congresswoman Pelosi, obstructs congress
Withholding articles of impeachment, after the vote!
Hollywood actors and actresses are threatening our president
Even offering to accept money to assassinate him, take his head!
All of this without consequence!

We have the group ANTIFA attacking supporters at rallies
Assaulting people, spitting in their face, without consequence
Then, we have sanctuary cities protecting illegal immigrants
They don’t even allow ICE to do their job accordingly!
Instead, they release them onto our streets to be free,
With prior records of rape and murder!

Now, we have all these problems with Iran happening
But if you look back in time, Obama sent 1.7 billion dollars
He sent the money on pallets to Iran, funneled to terrorists!
All of this was without consequence, no accountability!
This is only touching upon part of what is happening
These are things happening in the United States!
We are losing law and order and without it we will fall!

Premium Member Follow Me

A cumulonimbus cloud enveloped my sky,
Threatening to rain down a torrent of pain.
An ocean of commotion swirled in my brain.
My attempts to bandage the wounds turned in vain.

I saw only the receding vistas of light,
And night prowling like a stealthy thief.
The past chilled my mind like hanging icicles,
And I felt so heavy with frozen grief.

I inched my way up like a tardy snail.
My life got riddled with contradictions.
I felt I was waylaid, lost, bruised, and beaten.
From every corner, I met only constrictions.

When irredeemably lost in the labyrinth of life,
I heard an inner voice assuring me,
“Don’t worry, your life is in my hands.
Nobody always gets his way! Follow me!

I will walk in front as your all-time guide.
I will mend your scars and heal your wound.
I will hold your hand when you totter.
If fallen, I will lift you up from the ground.”

In an instant, I felt my tethers getting broken,
And my soul embracing all that is dear.
From the cage I knew I was flying out.
I saw the sky beyond, lying blue and clear!

Now I am on a journey of redemption,
Determined to follow Him wherever He directs.
I tell myself- “Nothing is beyond retrieval.”
Feel freed of everything that obstructs.

5 Minutes In My Dream

Poem Title: 5 Minutes in my dream

My mind is a combination of many things
5 minutes in my mind you may see and understand many things
My mind beautifully made with no hands
Many thoughts that make up a lot of my being
Intellectual rich
My heart is lyrical, it’s amazingly beautiful
Empowered with so many biblical things
A life of extraordinary things
5 minutes 300 seconds to see my inner being
An uncommon human being with high self esteem
Who believe in accomplishing dreams
Visualizing so many optimistic things
So special, so brilliant
Talked about for many reasons
Can draw and write books about many things
5 minutes in my mind you’ll see how great is human
beings
Sharing artistic pieces of my dream
A vision I seen in many dreams
It was real like I already had what I seen
Passages come overflowing
Like a bible with a narrator
The word is my generator
Divided into a measure of time
“5 Minutes in my mind”
A trip to a gate of music and painting’s
Crayons and Music displaying my abilities
“5 Minutes in my mind”
A picture of several colors abstract designed
Obscurely hidden from one to understand, but easy to see
5 minutes within my intellect
Is rendering the greatest pictures you’ll ever see
Completely transparent entirely
My mind obstructs every detail about me

“5 Minute’s in my mind is like running through a maze it may take many days to figure out”

Separate Roads

Dusty clouds are isolation
Confusion obstructs my view
As I travel back roads in lonesome
Searching for the missing clues

Long ago we became separations
Worlds away by barbed-wire offences
I need to be back within your presence
To the much greener grass of our past oasis

Although, with every try you set up failure
You think I should be kept locked in contempt
Getting hung up upon the daily razors
But life without you I can never accept

Shut out, hours, months and years ago
Love is not dead yet, this I know...
I must get to you and the other side
For I saw, what the future holds...still you and I

The long divided road
For the shortest while I could bear
But, now the burden is an overload
As I travel back into the wilds of despair

But now, I see new horizons where boundaries blur
And my heart overflows with something long forgotten
Stretching out my arms to you once more
And through the wires I make attempts, more and more often

If there were nothing there and then my back I'd turn
To the broken road of pits and painless
But, mind cries carry on into yonder
Please, wife why won't you pull me through regardless

Of our frozen moments into complications
Where internal needing never dies
Praying for a miracle or a simple kind of elation
Of some love what's left, just to give us one more try

If you would dance with me in raindrops of every second chances
Waiting to fall from off your ever distant eyes
Like the Spring showers that cleanse away past sins
Washing in forgiveness, as you pull me through so once again... I could be standing at your side

Premium Member Stone Mountain

At the base of Stone Mountain in early spring, the view is overpowered by the height of the round rock. Gray cold granite exposed rock draws many visitors to view this unusual phenomenon.

 cold massive hugh stone
obstructs view for several miles
white narcissus bloom

Climbing onto the sky lift, we inch to the top. At the top of Stone Mountain, we can see for miles around. The beauty of spring is exhibited in the different shades of green on the trees' leaves. A sprinkling of white dots the forest as Dogwoods bloom.

Becoming Me

I must have woken up on the wrong side of the ground this morning...
As soon as i opened my eyes, they were brought back down, with yearning-
For a life remotely near what I, as a child, had dreamed for me.

Mistakenly greedy,
Or intentionally cheating,
The consequences of reality
Always come on like a beating.
Unwanted and needy,
A little broken and bleeding,
Its myself in a coffin- not even thirty-
That ive been seeing.

I dont mind the bleeding, and ive always been a bit broken,
But let's rid me of the beatings-
For my soul is quite swollen.
Being Too heavy to fly free,
Its spiritually unhealthy for me.
If i can just meet this goal-
Balance mind, body, and soul,
Then maybe I could transcend beyond the Sun;
Another dimension- or even "Heaven"- you call it what you want.

This lack of stability in my head
Maybe damage from my childhood,
Or this adult life I've lead.
Either way its a hindrance in life-
A mental void that obstructs the necessary path.
When i was younger I held a bigger man
Inside.
I find he's still alive and I'll make the steps to bring him back intact.

Romans 14:19 KJV "Let us, therefore, follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another."

The Symbiont Us

Opposing energies magnetize their clustered convictions,
Lastly, amassed intentions remain beyond comprehensions,
Presently, polarized detachments collapse in their face-off,
Ulterior effectiveness spotlights their futile parties,
Action demands prompt communication, trust begins to rise,
Credence anchors individual aspirations to form,
Insights gaining momentum furtherance sparks enthusiasm,
Welcoming yielded principles, sanctions relevant accord,
Restrict naught one's conclusions with a particular outlook,
Narrow points exert pressure amongst willing participants,
Obstructs equitable compromise shadowing a stalemate,
Broaden perspectives enables means for negotiation,
Opportunities will modify one's beholden opinions,
At all times, vast or modest, voice concerns without skepticism,
Participation amidst others will rally the reserved,
Cooperation inaugurate embraced invitations,
Unswervingly, uniting the collective wholeheartedly,
In hindsight, repetitious history craves inferred foresight:
Matured apple-eaters, riped-keepers of the lesser kingdoms,
Furthermore, equanimity midst all that encompasses,
And to that end, understanding, we are resolved, henceforward,
Our prospective generations', producing the greatest
Godsend as Earth's human symbionts ... what I (really) want.

The Daze of Malice

Your barque blocks the orb which steers my muse;
change course, you are an intrusion. Captain Wahn.

            Intimidation brands you a martyr,
mere threats have no place herein.
Alter your own path. Skipper Twain.

                           Seems a knot has you both anchored;
                           choking, challenging your journey.
Old grudges you have harbored will send you
back to your docks on a gurney. words from Urania.

Fate obstructs the view
when ships align with the moon.
Urania smiles.
Hidden underwater shelf
will cut short the daze of malice.

Eyes Can'T See

Eyes Can't See

The skies are crystal clear yet vision clouded,
A one sided mirror obstructs the view.
Grievances seem black and white,
Resolutions gray.

Tinted glasses perceive disappointment,
Denial, a one sided mirror.
Mistakes are clear-cut and vibrant,
Acceptance avoids responsibility.

Brown, Green, Blue, Hazel,
Tearful eyes inflamed with regret.
Frustration, anger, distress,
Truth is nothing but a blur.

Burnished Refelection

Stark space
could allow for ease
of breath,
but flooded glow washes
in unrest.

Wood burned mirror
rest in farthest
corner wedge.
Its trim scrolls
heavenward in facile
attempts.

Obsidian glass obstructs
true face.
Instead providing
an image voided
of narcissistic delight.

Birth of a River

BIRTH OF A RIVER (b)

Have the vision,
to climb the mountain top.
You have the strength,
to navigate life.
Through planes, valleys,
ravines and rugged path.

The treacherous slope,
of the mountain face.
Conquer the pinnacle.
Look below the planes,
ravines and valleys beneath.

And in awe behold,
the mysteries of life.
The journey has ended.
Your joy, triumphant,
over obstacles,
you have surpassed.

Journey has just begun.
You take the leap of faith.
Like the rivers conceived,
On the Mountain top.

Dew drops that gather ,
on the leaves;
kissed by the night.
Trickle to the ground,
they gather to rejoice,
your triumph over;
tribulations of life.

A million drops;
by ten million times.
Form trickles that entwine.
transform trickles to a rivulet.

At first they gently flow
The synergies embrace,
and entwine with hope.
Ecstasy of the journey,
Filled with exhilaration, ahead.

The bliss of freedom cannot,
 be described, by words alone.
Venting her fury on mother earth,
as she erodes her surface.
Scarring and bruising her vanity,
that will perpetually exist.

In her passion she dictates,
the course of her path.
Destroying all that;
obstructs her surge.
Creating a amazing;
work of art, the Canyon.

When all streams merge
and conjoin .
Dreams realized .
She finally becomes;
Paramount , a river in spate.

Making her mark in every move.
Destroying those in her path.
Till there is no respite,
she then bifurcates,
into tributaries at the delta,
calming herself of her spate.

Gently mingling with mother earth,
she carries a part of memoirs.
Journey finally ending.
She joins her beloved,
The Sea welcomes;
her with open arms.

From where she was conceived.
Natures cycle of life.
