How thrilled was I, the strings in my heart trembled,

Premium Member A Note In the Wind Nw
Humming a soft tune, came down the wind.
With airy fingers, it tousled my hair.
Rubbing its cold cheeks on mine,
It tickled me and reeled round
Tugging at my skirt like a naughty kid,
And amorously lifting it up like a lover
Like soft tendrils, it coiled all...

Premium Member A Note In the Wind Nw
The note that's written tells the tale
of star-lit nights of yesterday
   that is no more
they have gone with the wind,
and appear now in ashen dreams
where memories cry, in an endless sky,
that stretches across time
filled with drifting faces I've kissed
in revealing...

Premium Member A Tender Note-Nw
a tender note at twilight.
two sugar plums in love.
wind chimes play a leitmotif,
as the candle flame softly sways.

hands touch, lips whisper
of happily-ever-afters,
whilst talking of adventure,
of marriage and children.

a tender note, a plot.
the invite was good,
but the flame died out.

the wedding chimes carry the note
and the...

Premium Member The Myrtle - Nw
The Myrtle sits
single, lonely
at the crossroads
adorned
with one hundred
cobalt bottles;
waiting.
Evening soon comes
and gentle winds
blow softly
that Aphrodite
sings
her sweet, enticing song.
Weak, evil spirits;
guileless souls,
will, helpless,
answer, her siren call.
Then trapped
Inside the bottle blue
'till dawn.
When morning sun will
seal their fate.

Premium Member A Note In the Wind - Nw
I walked one day, no cares in the world.
My mind was a slate needing written upon!
I walked and I walked.
Still no thought came to me.
Then a wind started blowing,
and soon I heard something -
long, lovely, and calming -
a note in the wind I followed..

It led...

Premium Member A Lyric In the Wind-Nw
From your blooming garden of yearning
The scent soared high in the spring wind
In which floated the fervent words of verse
You wrote with the rhyme of your heart.

The storm sweeping the somber sand of time
Rose from the clouded cauldron of strife
The squall carried away the...

A Note In the Wind - Nw
Together we stayed,
He took me in,
He embraced me,
A son of his troubled daughter,
She was saddled with life's changing faces,
She was cocooned by its tempest,
Cloaked into its midnight,
It was an unearthed love and a flowery relationship,
As time progressed our
 uncommon grounds began to unfold,
I was no...

Note Found In An Ancient Oak-Nw
I sat beneath the ancient oak in my back yard,
grieving and in sorrow at the age of twelve.
My best friend, Jessie, was moving far away.
I didn't think I'd ever see him again,
so, I wrote a note to tell him what was in my heart.
I...

The Letter To My Father-Nw
I wrote a letter to my father;
He didn't make it 'cause he couldn't.
It was my day of graduation,
How I wished he could be there.

"I got four distinctions and I was
Named the student of the year.
I made it to the top
And dad you made me who...

Premium Member A Note In the Wind-Nw
Though the west wind is, often, wild,
It blows, sometimes, miraculously mild.
It seemed I waited for such a tender time,
To my stubborn friend to send my rhyme;
A friendship that, once, divinely developed,
Why by fogs of misjudgments got enveloped?
Thick relationships, they say, once, get split,
Ozone-layers-like harmful...

A note to the wind
sent on the wings of hope's demise
she was the only person in my life

That laughter that once rang out
through the echoes of my mind
is now but a faint whisper,
of the...
