twigs quiver wild thyme scent life’s decline
robins’ my heart ebbing
songs leaps tide
emotions autumn leaves ode to joy
morning windswept starry
dew dreams night

the sparkling water
flows with the light of the stars
shining from the top
the finch at feeder
It's a house that looks like home
they are comfortable
there's a tint of green
emanating from the field
empty but peaceful
many shades of blue
layer the mountains around
beauty multiplies
the sun has risen
gratitude has been shining
it's a choice to see

still lake mirrors sky
dragonflies stitch quiet light
reeds hum in soft breeze
cleaving the black rock
the proud tree blocks wayfarers ---
wild shrubs hail the show
?
speeding naughty yacht
tears white skirts of green waters ---
questioning her course
?
silver waterfalls
like an Indian widow ---
on a shadow walk
?
rays of morning sun
play hide and seek with blossoms ---
breeze busy with trees
?
though not autumn time
ferocious maple leaves fall ---
wind escapes from blames

Naked willow boughs
Nature has staged occasions
Blue Bells wait in fields
August 6, 2010
dancing swords
ocean skin rising
shadows lurking below
Tall, whispering trees
Yellowing leaves spiraling
In the morning wind
Someday, I will be
Hopeful and happy like you -
A gay, buzzing bee
rainbow circle sky
blues greens yellows orange
a dew prism light
red rose redolence
lilies scent countryside dew
springtime perfume cue
rose mums tulips blooms
valley violets veronicas hues
lilies lilacs soothe
fireflies in flight
bioluminescence bright
a seasonal light
bug process honey
pollen flyers yearn nectar
flowers turned sweet fruits
bees labor party
pears peaches pineapples
flower foods eaten
aquarium seas
whales snappers sharks dolphins
ride wave vehicles
sky ring of fire
huge star blocked by a pea
the moon eclipse sun
whimsical weasel
waterfall weathered willow
wilderness walk watch
winged ballerina
arthropod in flight
orange wings with eyes
leaf cutter cuts leaf
squirrels store nuts in tree huts
humankind does same
A wasp struggles
Flapping its wings;
Anthills are nearby.
Golden rays of sun
Amidst echoes of birdsong
Shine on fresh green grass
Pretty pink flowers
Covering the tree branches
Spring's cherry blossoms
Sweet smelling nectar
Lingering in the cool breeze
Buzzing all around
ephemeral art –
deceived by apricity
brittle icicles
---------------------
* apricity = the warmth of the sun in winter
One man sees beauty,
Lonely are roads not traveled,
breathe silent forest.
Here natures best friend,
who enjoys simplicity,
lives more than charmed life.
Night drawing closer,
Take one last look at beauty,
Take mental image.

change is too nature
shedding its worn, battered skin
to present Newness....
