When things get rough
Music takes me away
Whether, notes fall with tears
Or melodies relax me,
I am released from all
That overwhelms me
The music carries me,
When burdens are too heavy
The songs peel away layers of pain
I travel to the place, music takes me
As I listen, the pain lessens
My heart a little lighter
My mind a little clearer
My soul filled with air
In this life I breathe
I can move on with strength
To do what I must do
I look back on my footprints
Impressions of musical notes
Are left shining on my path in life
For every step, music led my way
For every breathe I took,
With each tune I heard
For every tear I cried that healed me
I am alive, with every song to be heard

Music is an undying
art of soul ~
an abstract eden, where,
euphonious unicorns
glide in strawberry sonatas,
amplifying rhapsody in
ballads of flight,
when fuchsia feathers
tease those
jingling breezes,
infusing breaths
in every lifeless aroma;
where I can soar
beyond the
brushstrokes
of symphonies that
planktons sing to me,
in the requiems of
forsaken pearls,
crooning with
silenced shimmers
beneath wavy blues.

Maybe,
I'm a songwriter
without words,
and my electric fingers
trace the tunes
of serene strings,
when guitars weave
a sonorous guilt
midst ruby runes
of regrets.
I wish to keep
swinging in a
cosmic cadence,
where celestial notes
choreograph
themselves in the
moonwalking
mellifluence of
lunar legacies.

I gossip with
neon nightingales,
laced with neutrinos
and compel them
to chant those
healing incantations
of love and glory,
like the forlorn
princess - Rapunzel,
desiring to feel
the glow of
familiar lanterns,
winged with
hazy syncs of
unsung yesteryears.

I wonder if,
I'm not meant
to compose
crystal canticles
in a Disney duet,
for, I believe,
I'm a soul searcher
in the flesh of
a soloist, concocting
an elixir of my
existence through
cinnamon anthems
of mystical
moonrises, as
they softly unfold,
a million
unheard tempos,
within tranquil
memoirs.

I'm the 'maiden of music'
resting as a floret on
every sepal,
yearning to become
a unique acapella
of nature,
where empathy
has an ethereal
dialect of
nurturing spirits
and tinkles
of magical waterfalls
whisper in
gentle lachrymose lulls
of our ambrosial Mother.

When the harmony
of my voice,
kisses those
ivory keys of
the heart-shaped
piano, they
echo a tipsy secret
in my sunset skin,
making me
believe ~
"I'm everywhere
in the essence,
yet nowhere
to be found...",
like the sweet
scents of
hummingbirds,
smiling behind
that first dusky star.

      "In each husky hallelujah
                of ribboned halts and replays,
           life is a song ~
                    where every lyric,
                phrases an ember of end,
      and when passionate heartbeats
                       shall knit sombre medleys,
I will hum in the last 'chef-d'oeuvre'... "

Music is my therapy,

             and yet, confusion rewinds,

                       in my mind,

           dynamic notes of melancholy.

           But when ebony keys electrify,

          harmony bids darkness goodbye.

Halloween Night – A Musical Video

Step Ever so light
(Step Ever so light)
Into this treacherous night
(Into this treacherous night)
Creatures that abandon the day
Come out to play
(Creatures that abandon the day)
Come out to play)

Step Ever so light ~ Step ever so light

Hear those Chill winds howl
(Hear those Chill winds howl)
To the hoot of an owl
(To the hoot of an owl)
The pale moon flickers
(The pale moon flickers)
On black cats and bats,
(On black cats and bats)
While shadows dance softly
On old crooked hats.
There is corruption at play
In this treacherous night
Step Ever so light, Ever so light
(There is corruption at play
In this treacherous night
Step Ever so light ~ Ever so light)

Into the Halloween night
That blatantly steals your soul,
With shadows creeping
darkness takes control.
To play ball they crawl
In the moon’s eerie thrall.
The Universal teachings
For they fail to recall

Into the Halloween night
That steals your soul,
With shadows creeping
darkness takes control.
To play ball they crawl
In the moon’s eerie thrall.
The Universal teachings
They fail to recall

Step Ever so light ~ Ever so light ~ Ever so light.
Oh ~ Oh ~ Oh ~ Oh

Step Ever so light
It’ll steal your soul,
With shadows creeping
darkness takes control.
To play ball they crawl
In the moon’s eerie thrall,
The Universal teachings
For they fail to recall
Step Ever so light ~ Ever so light ~ Ever so light.
Oh ~ Oh ~ Oh ~ Oh

A Musical Love

Clothes all wrinkled on the floor...
A pathway of roses to my door...
Like a sweet wine tasting, we sip...
Tasting each others love on our lips...
The radio is off but there are musical sounds...
Our voices harmonize as our bodies lie down...
As our toes curl in passion we melt into the sheets...
The temperatures outside are cool but in the bedroom
it is all about the heat...

Just One Last Night - The Last Goodbye - A Musical Multi-media duet

Just One Last Night – The Last Goodbye - A Musical Mini-Movie Duet

Sometimes, love lingers long after the last goodbye. We think we’re letting go—but in truth, we’re holding on.
Not just to memories, but to the soul that once stayed beside us.
The Ballad and mini-movie is about love and loss, about the quiet ache that never quite fades.
It asks:
Can love become a tether?
When all it ever wanted was to be free?
“Just One Last Night” explores that space between presence and release—
Where devotion becomes a quiet chain, and one heart’s longing might keep another from crossing into the light.

Note: The poem below qualifies the Lyrics of the Ballad in the movie which are not included here so as not to give away the story.

Tip: best listened to with headphones.

A flame in the dark I lit
blind to the shadow it cast
Love, a thread spun of moonlight,
I thought forever would last

I built a shrine from memories
not caring I’d sealed his soul.
Lingering on ~ his reluctant spirit
Between enduring torn.

The path ahead for me was dim
The fault all mine – he couldn’t soar
Reluctantly, with laboured breath,
I released and let my true love go

I lost his Soul with poignant grace
With soulful sorrow upon my face.

I invite you to click on and watch my video now to appreciate the impact of this poem.

If the video and lyrics touches you in any way please share on your social media or to friends, It could give solace to or bring just one person from that deep dark place and the production has done it's job. Thank you. Hugs xoxoxo

Musical Torment - the Infamous Masterpieces

Torturing me with touches
I feel the sting of hardened and lasting lust
Touches not of mortal fingers,
But Halloween-haloed strings composed by musicians of mystery
Pressing upon my back--yes! A searing, yet melodi-errotic strike
All upon me, yet far from me...

Leave me not in the judgement of my own scrambling feelings
Rest not away as I hold my hands out in the dark
Deathly dances are visions heaven-bound for the duo--
Yet for the solo- a blank, useless measure...

The pulsing silence of amateur-stitched love rattles me
Making rhythms giggle in my mind
Intervals of idiocy tormenting all reason
Truly an agonizing, but for others--minor--prison
Is the smile that helped design those strings
Those strings that pluck upon my spine
Controlling me in a dark place stuck between tunes and time

Why are your hands so cold when you play those piano keys?
Why are your lungs so eroded with the pride that taints the songs you sing?
Why have the rhythms gone awry, and why does your apathetic dissonance thrive?

And tell me… through it all…
As you compose the rise and fall…
Why is all this destruction you created so vibrantly alive?

A Musical Affair

Curvaceous body,
His bow caresses her strings:
Ode to Joy...begins.
·
Musical romance,
Passionate sighs grace the air:
Fervent notes ascend.
·
Music fills the room,
She’s addicted to his bow:
The violin plays.
·
Heated melodies,
Of a musical affair:
Between bow and strings.

Musical Epiphany

The sound rushing into my ears,
Flowing into my every vein,
Feel every cell vibrating,
In unison.
That feeling of ecstasy,
The rush, catches my breath,
Musical melody.
As I close my eyes,
And let it wash over me,
It cleanses, purifies,
All the anger, hurt
That lay buried deep inside.
The tunes reverberate,
Through my very soul.
It's hard to imagine,
So much joy,
From a few notes on a page.
But it makes me dance,
To tunes that only..
I hear.

Be Still, My Child

(From the musical "On Eagles' Wings." This is the lullaby for Passover night.)

Mother 1:
Be still, my child, go to sleep
The night is dark, but dreams are sweet
My child, take rest from fear and dread
And relish all your dreams instead

Though life is harsh, your dreams can be
As sweet as the world used to be
Be not afraid of any harm
I have you safely in my arms

Mother 2:
Be still, my child, rest your head
You have no need to fear or dread
The One Who has made known His power
Is watching over you this hour

He’s stretching out His mighty arm
To spare your life from Egypt’s harm
He watches over you this night
That you may see the morning light

His promise surely will come true
Tonight He’s passing over you

Musical Ownership

Plucking at the metal strings
Thumping vibration pulsing the air
Tuba all classy and dancing with bass
Suddenly silence, the palette bone bare

The voice of the infinite instrument
settles the band and elates
You're singing and smiling and lifting the sky
while the keys all turn toward you and burn, concentrate

The piano is weighted by words
and is stretched to it's lengths by your thoughts
Trills and crescendos rise up to the rafters
and are swept up by currents and caught

Softly the background emerges
All of the instruments humming in time
Flooding the stage and the audience skin
and right at this moment I know you are mine

Mine to dream dreams to and smile
Mine to tuck into my heart
A flood of vibration to linger and last
This music which touched me and tore me apart...

Musical Chairs

There is only one thing that you can control in this world
As It's to whom that we sing that our soul will be unfurled
You are completely powerless over all that you do control
But it will really become a mess the day you lose your soul

Just a heartbeat away standing on the other side of the door
Lord teach us to pray so that this fact we will no longer ignore
Just like a musical chair one day your song will no longer play
Becoming completely aware of exactly where you chose to lay

In just a second or even less everything could be taken away
It's only the Lord who does bless don't take lightly what I say
Even written down for all to see as the endless clues abound
What you couldn't afford, given free, oh how sweet the sound

The only thing that you can control that nothing can take away
Is who you're praising in your soul each morning, night and day
Now that music is playing but we all know that its going to end
On my mind it's been weighing and this message I had to send

John 16:33
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace.
 In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart;
I have overcome the world.”

With pegs and pins in a bucket that’s full,
She hangs her music to dry,
Where it hums a tune majestically soft,
And it hums it up to the sky,

And the Lento and Largo sways in the breeze,
The Staccato hangs with the blues,
And the Accent hangs on the opposite side,
Hangs with its bright dancing shoes,

Every day she hangs her music to dry,
With a beautiful song in her mind,
Every day she hangs each note in the air,
Up on her musical line.
