Music is my therapy, and yet, confusion rewinds, in my mind, dynamic notes of melancholy. But when ebony keys electrify, harmony bids darkness goodbye.

It's sometimes so difficult to listen to a piece of music - classical, pop, jazz; orchestral; guitar work or ebony keys, or wind - and work out what it's doing to you. Thank you. It's good to read what people think, as here in this small poem.

Music can work wonders; it takes thoughts and feeling deeper, into the heart and soul. The base keys on the piano stir me, but the higher tempo music can really perk me up. I enjoyed reading your thoughts on Musical Healing, thanks for sharing! A poet friend in Texas, Bill

I think music is therapy for almost everyone.. how boring is life without background music? Nice arrangmeent of words.. I like the use of ebony to describe which key electrifies.. I wonder if you thought carefully about which colour you would choose.. Its so lovely to see you flourish on here.. but remember.. ALT is waiting dear :))

I too feel special feelings when certain music plays. Your verses in this short poem pack a punch. And my friend that takes talent to pull it off as you just did. I prefer classic 1. Rock n Roll 2. Country music and 3. the Blues. Primarily 60's/70's, early 80's.. rock comes first. God bless .

Ahh, piano lover? Piano music is great for creating a mood, but then I suppose all types of music can do that too. There are a handful of songs that, when they come in the radio, my mood improves and I'm singing along (badly lol). Have a great weekend

True.. These are the pure sentiments that I too witness whilst oscillating in between the notes, vibrato, crescendo and various symphonies of music.. It comes as a healing wave, yet tinted with hues of gloom and melancholy.. Pulling the heartstrings and letting us submerge in the essence.. Then there's another soulful harmony, which finally bids darkness goodbye.. You've described a whole journey of emotions through these sumptuously crafted poetic words..
