Musical Healing

It's sometimes so difficult to listen to a piece of music - classical, pop, jazz; orchestral; guitar work or ebony keys, or wind - and work out what it's doing to you. Thank you. It's good to read what people think, as here in this small poem.

I think music is therapy for almost everyone.. how boring is life without background music? Nice arrangmeent of words.. I like the use of ebony to describe which key electrifies.. Music is the balm of life. I have been hearing a lot of music lately which often lulls me to sleep.

So very true ! Music has such wonderful healing powers. It erupts the fountains of love in our hearts. No wonder Shakespeare has opined- "If music be the food of love, play on"! Lovely poem dear Empress !

Someone after my own heart, most of my poems come while I listen to music and most of the time I post a poem it has music with it...

True.. These are the pure sentiments that I too witness whilst oscillating in between the notes, vibrato, crescendo and various symphonies of music.. It comes as a healing wave, yet tinted with hues of gloom and melancholy.. Pulling the heartstrings and letting us submerge in the essence.. Then there's another soulful harmony, which finally bids darkness goodbye.. You've described a whole journey of emotions through these sumptuously crafted poetic words..
