Blowing Blissfully In Immense Wheat Fields Of Fertile Minds

Upon the soft winds and the unenduring pallid breeze
with its ragged, hot breath a flaming torch of frozen tease
she that keeps her knives ready to cut in so very deep
and poisons the pleasurable hours that tender heart sleeps
her beauty its mirage displays a glitterings of gold
and her spoken words cried by spirit far too damn bold
she that has the magnificent beauty of a siren's face
stole ravenous beating heart, without any to replace
as I drown in deep waters polluted by her foul breath
I feel the lying whisper of a very painful death
as pale sky and bold seas both cast their powers far adrift
and in glory oft Heaven sent, dear blessings that uplift.

Blowing blissfully in immense wheat fields of fertile minds.
Are visions from word magicians, immeasurably stone blind!

Robert J. Lindley, dark sonnet

Minds Lost Are Minds Found

I’m losing my mind in a hurry!
Maybe, maybe, losing the mind is letting it find itself
or maybe, i'm just crazy

I keep running with anticipation, with heart open and judgment closed
[I discover most superbly this way]
Foolishly Dropping it, hoping that it’ll pick up something useful
On sidewalks, books, table-top salty discussions,
Sometimes in filth letting it pervade the crevices
And when I tidy it, sometimes
It doesn’t all come out, but I try my best
Ever so often, after a new dish soap and scrubbing gloves
it comes out cleaner then it ever was,
With spicy remains of the crude yet true substances

Chunks fall out where the glue of stability erodes
I know that I am fond of it this way
So I can put them back together
                   With my own fingers

                                                     Organized C H A O S

Instead of the media’s, my peers, my parents, piloting
The pivotal pieces
I let them descend tenderly into location
In my own decimal code
I constitute the regulations here
This belongs to me, my only
Safe place

It doesn’t matter to me if life doesn’t flow
If it’s jagged or slow, here
I don’t care
If insanity is the real sanity
Or that distinctive is incorrect
This is my society and I shape it as I please
Seeing as it only affects me
As long as my mind is
In flurries of expansion
I don’t really care if it’s lost at all

If I could bring you every sight I see,
It would make me very happy
To see you smile, as I have today,
Surrounded by beauty, sunshine, warmth, this way
If I could capture every moment, put it in a bottle for you,
I would certainly try to do that too!
It is something I know you would cherish
So for now, I will send you this wish
Imagine soft green grass and water deep blue
A sandy beach with benches too
Leaves changing color, with sun shining through
Take these words and hold onto the sights
As if you are here on those lonely nights
Wrap yourself in warmth and feel the peace
Let the relaxation seep in and increase
It is in times like this, life is complete
Living fully in the moment, where wishful minds meet

A Meeting of Minds

In the silence
 of this crystal night
 shimmering,
 entombed in light,
we'll tippy toe on the stars

Moving in a universe
 the tips of our fingers
 write poems in stardust
 as we shift
 the dust of time
 being graced in part,
 a poets Valhalla

Fishing in the black holes
 pulling the next dimension
 through, meeting minds
from the center of the think
they ripple with the solar winds
 ghosts of the eternal flame

Lavender light shaves the moon
sheets of light trickle in mirrors
 imagination is reborn
 again
 and again

Premium Member Young Minds

young impressionable minds today
fearless leaders of tomorrow
years in between will pass
will slip away in a flash

under our tutelage
our guidance
our encouragement
our influence

our illusion of dominance
that for some
will escalate
to abuse of power
to oppression
extinguishing the light
within a child
one at a time

nothing short of
exterminating
dreams of tomorrow
bursting the bubbles
of confidence
meant to lead to stellar feats

remember
when childhood held dreams

remember
when friends where real

remember
Anne Frank, child betrayed

remember
when poetry spoke of the heart

remember
when the psycho penetrated with dart

remember
those who tell tales true

remember
	the kiss of love? or
		the kiss of deceit

remember
	evil hides in rainbows
		goodness dances with lightning

I will remember hearts of kindness
	not the man spreading blindness
		remember

yearn for happier times
	not July, only youths summertime
illusions that once made us happy

Now devour our minds

Smile little child
Smile for me
Me who is you
Me who cries
Cries for her
Cries because
Because I knew
Because I was there
There is no excuse
There was a way
Way back then
Way too much pain
Pain we carry
Pain we hid
Hid behind smiles
Hid under years
Years passed quickly
Years changed nothing
Nothing was done
Nothing was a difficult easy
Easy does it
Easy to wait
Wait for the right moment
Wait for courage
Courage to say
Courage to feel
Feel our way here
Feel all those feeling
Feelings will be hurt
Feelings can heal
Heal all of us
Heal what was taken
Taken childhood
Taken trust
Trust is hard
Trust me
Me who was there
Me who witnessed
Witnessed too much
Witnessed more
More than I knew
More of the shame
Shame on him
Shame games
Games in the dark
Games played with our minds
Minds controlled by need
Minds bound by unspoken
Unspoken
Need

Mystical Minds

As the healers prepare us for the worlds beyond
With words of wisdom do they respond
Mystical minds that reveal the realm
Ingesting and spewing Love they overwhelm

They speak of joys and life’s lament
As they engulf the energies that heaven has sent
They traverse time and space to bring us hope
As we battle with the elements and try to cope

They journey unbiased with solitude
As they fill our hearts with gratitude
Infinite thoughts that carry on angels wings
As they bow in solace to the one of all things

Mystic healers your hearts are pure
As they dimensional dance and must endure
The agony and triumph of the souls you touch
With the help of angels that love you so much.

riding rivulets down
insane power of drain
mist erupts, exclamation crashes
the edge of humanity
at the rainbow’s end
the beauty screams:
c’mon in
pins and needles
from the parietal lobe
to the sole

the droplets
run and dive
right in, exploding in laughter
and delight

man is afraid
rightfully so
afraid to decompose

composure
is at wit’s end

we slip, we slide
in our mind
feel the sinking sand
on the brink
of a dream; a nightmare
fully awake

its wake divides the truth from lies
do we exist
take a kiss from the cliff
the teacher’s ruler:
Go on now…

What student doesn’t know better
unless you see other fish
flying overboard
peer pressure stops at heightened levels

except on slow boil
then
the facts become even more exact
as you meet
the boil Maker

Great Minds

Great minds think alike; I'm not your servant, I'm your wife.

Abortion of Twisted Minds

The church judged my abortion
now it is my turn
crusades killed thousands
for Jesus
then Native Americans were slaughtered
in the name of Jesus
all for the almighty

I, who cried for the death of one
as they rejoiced the death
of many

Dedicated to my sister, the kindest person I know.

The Minds' Eye

Thank heaven for my imagination
It's given me quite alot
Danced me through many a situation
Saved me from battles fought

Within my mind lies beauty and grace
Splendor in this world
No need to condemn or ever debase
My fist remains uncurled

Through the window of my eye
I find such wondrous things!
I smell the salty tide flow by
Skip along Saturns' rings

I've visited lots of exotic lands
Built toys with Santas' elves
Played in many rock and roll bands
Conversed with dolls on shelves

Through the imaginings of my mind
I'm driving a fancy car
Or maybe I'm being wined and dined
By a famous movie star

Imagination's an awesome thing
So much that you can do
Fly away on an angel wing
If only you've a mind to!

Minds Eye Can See Vision Comp

Through the corridors of time you travel
Just a gorgeous twinkle in a tenuous universe
So surreal to see you trip in my minds eye
Twirling into view like a dirvish of arcane times
Chanting in a Murmurous whisper incantations
then with a sonorous thunder clap she's gone
my very own tinker bell as turned to dust
she was more than any grown up's eye can see.

Minds Morally Blind and Unkind

Deceit and duplicity, vengeance and vanity
Exploit our weaknesses and dissipate our souls’ strength
As arrogance cockroaches multiply their insanity
We diminish the strength of our faith

The more we immerse ourselves in new technologies
Stung by advances in artificial intelligence
Deluding our ignorance and bestowing empty eulogies
On partners we loathe despite pangs of conscience

That work harder to retain a semblance of humanity
In souls gone dead and mad with material wealth
Accumulated and concealed from established authority
In the mistaken belief that the theft we perpetuate in our stealth

Shan’t leave a trail auditors will pursue
In our bid to aggrandize an increasingly hollow ego
Gone insensitive and unreceptive to the moral malaise and torture that ensue
As the moral compass hitherto central to our lives we forgo

In preference for catalyzing the rat race that the vulnerable
Crush underfoot
To splurge with disgust as the horrible and the irascible
Thrive in the sight of the sycophants we recruit

As cheerleaders
With unabashed shame
In the midst of death traders and peddlers
On whom we’re not able to pin blame

Cos together we rot
In body and mind
Our consciences bought and caught
Up in webs of ego-tripping that render us morally blind and unkind.

Knifing the Minds and Pangs of Body

Had enough of fear of shock and awe, so let me say something now

Lest I get stifled of shut in, let there be some opening somehow

The fish of mind keeps growing in the ocean of thoughts moment to moment

By closing thought process how can you let it survive even for a moment?

It maybe good to wine and dine and have a good sleep

But anyone who’s devoid of concern is just like a sheep

You sold your freedom of body and mind just to feed yourself

You knifed your mind enough; let body suffer some pang itself
