On the road to cessation,
I discovered tiny tears,
The kind most accompanied
By legions of saviors
(albeit rented for just a few hours)
Undeterred, my race resumed;
Candles lighting my path
Through the forest, avoiding
Sparks that often ignite lies,
A vain attempt to retrace tracks
Of my runaway memory, drowning
Me in delusions of laughter, gripping
Tightly to descending cries of lost
Hearbeats, the sound green makes,
Each tear a field of poppies, as far as
My eyes can see; behold
Jupiter ascending, under the watchful
Eyes of Pisces,
Whispering
Eternity.
snow falls
as silently as sleep
pressed snowflakes
icicle flowers
between the wind and windowpane
melt their way to sill
polished chrome darkness shivers
ankle deep in frost
night’s breath spills
along the frozen glass
its silver shadow rolls
and condenses with the dawn
night’s epitaph
written in blue mercury
trickles down my windowpane
in the light of a new day
He walks into the room like liquid mercury
Deadly yet mesmurizing to the eyes
He molds into every woman he touches
She will ever feel his smooth maleness
He seems to be placing orders for the night
Who will get to grace his bed of pleasures?
Tomorrow he slithers away like the spineless
disease he really is; life shatters around his wake.
Mighty Mercury
Alert then aloof, snuggly warm then colder
His rangy legs spring to hitch a ride on our shoulder
Lifting our hearts to elation
He’s our portable vacation
We cherish Mercury more each day we grow older
Silver painted girl
Gleams like nature's element

A Tribute To Freddie Mercury
What happened?
Why did God take you away?
Your music soothed so many
Brought others to tears
Yet everyone danced and sang with you
Following your fingers on the piano keys
You cast your spell over thousands
Your voice was a gift from the gods
You took the stage you were blessed
And you blessed us with your songs
We didn’t know that you were suffering
That you were dying
You kept your pain a secret so we would not worry
You knew we would mourn before your life was over
You knew we would cry and not hear your last songs
How we miss you since you left
Your band continues on
Playing the music that you made famous
It is not the same
You made the music everything that it was
You changed music from the day you sang your first note
No one will ever give what you gave
You gave you life for your fans
We knew it and we loved you for it
Your goodbye left a void that will never be filled
Four word and just for words say what we feel
They are strong words that you gave meaning to
We hear them when we see you on a video
They echo through our ears as we hear your song
God Save the Queen and God bless Freddie
He will always be royalty in our hearts
My soulmate is a pilgrim,
He explores the zodiac’s constellations
Not always in our own Milky Way, he treks
His journeys enlighten mankind
Because he aims his bow hunting faith in Sagittarius
And swims with emotional artistry in Pisces
He judges mankind with Libran scales
As he admires beauty while visitingTaurus
By Capricorn he calculates the distances to travel
With Gemini he knows about all the heavens
In Aquarius he will always be courageous and cool
While adventuring The Scorpio Moon, my soulmate tells no secrets
Because he is a man of Aries who has great self worth
His mother The Virgin he humbly thanks
The Cancer crab brings him home again
He enters Earth as Leo the lion
That time occurred when Regulus in retrograde circled Jupiter
Then, Jupiter conjoined Venus
Making it event the brightest lights in all heaven
So the Maggi would find the divine child
My soulmate is that deity
He rides on the tail of the comets.
One day he will come again
He promised
And he, my friend, does not lie.

I am starting to like Freddie
At least he is steady
He may enjoy the drink
He may bring Liverpool to the brink
Honesty is all you will get
Even if his heart is scorched and bled
He has that iconic ironic smile
His verses crosses the hippocratic oath
From veins his prose flow
His love is pure his demons proudly on display
His bitterness feeds the infinite glass
Of the waiters last call
His words may bite spewing spittle and spite
Alas, who I ask, shall cast the first stone?
Martians, they don’t live here
Even astronauts keep clear
Residing though in darkest places
Charred: the eyebrows on their faces
Up from underground they creep
Resembling small asbestos sheep
Yikes they bleat at red hot feet

My heart gently weeps yet again
For the long lost song of Mercury.
I know it’s been some 27 years since he left the stage we mortals call life,
But even now his light still is bright in this darkness we call our lives.
We all still honor his very existence every day.
Even if we don’t know it we carry on the torch of his music,
From merely jamming out to his glorious voice to creating an award-winning biopic about his life with Queen,
We still are the champions of the world even if we bite the dust, because we make sure Freddie lives forever.
His voice is that of angels singing and nobody can outdo it,
Even if you try with all your might he’ll whisk you away with the flick of a microphone,
For even his vocal range is as unique as he was.
Even in just writing a song, he can outdo the norm,
“Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Killer Queen,” and “We Are the Champions” just to name a few.
He drew out the best of people, rocking audiences to the very core,
For Queen belongs to even the loneliest souls of the world, the ones who just don’t belong.
We find ourselves in music, in Queen, in Freddie Mercury, and that you can’t replace.
Life goes on though, we always have to find the will to carry on.
We can continue to carry Mercury’s flamboyant torch onward though,
Keep on passing the torch down to the younger generations.
We can continue to rock out and enjoy life while we can,
Because nothing lasts forever and we don’t know when life will fade.
Queen lives on with Adam Lambert alongside Brian May and Roger Taylor,
Even if Freddie is gone, his life is carried on through Queen and every single one of us.
No matter what, the show must go on, for Freddie Mercury and Freddie Mercury alone.
Sun pours fiery heat
Forty two in Celsius
Two mounds in the sky

flowing and oozing
pretty silver, pliable
Gemini magic
eclectic with mystery
teases imagination
My mind is dirt and this soil my curse
The seeds you plant in this heat make me worse
I just get so nervous, like I should believe
So perhaps I am wicked and not meant to be
And the steam that is rising
Intoxicates quickly
I have grown pale and swollen and sickly
Crocodile, crocodile, dry off your eyes
And take back your sorrowful, meaningless lies
I dream of your lovers, I wish for their deaths
Inside plastic bags, I will keep their last breaths
And with confined sighs, go north for a rest
I will leave with my murders and nothing will matter
Hot into cold, my love it will shatter
Beneath a deep snow, I will hibernate sweetly
And sleep off this hatred that binds me completely
I’ll pluck all my hairs, I’ll spin them for thread
To sew up the gashes I’ve put in your bed
And with mattress mended, go sleep with the dead
And the water that drips
Is forming a knife
My cheeks will be rosy devoid of past strife
My thoughts will be still when the earth has gone hard
The roots of your anger will leave my heart scarred
I just get so anxious, with all I believe
So perhaps I am wicked and not meant to be
Statue and Mercury
Statue
mono-lithic, massive
Shining, captivating, radiating
Glimpse lifts soul ; tarnishes precious gold
Dissolving, poisoning, reacting
Silvery, liquid-metal
Mercury
