What is the shore without the sea
Aimlessly wondering watery dreams
Deferred desolate depressed empty
Is how I am without love in me

That one true love for which one is blind
Without it there is darkness blackest of times
Is like a blue bird without a heart song
No white wind of romance to carry it on

Without love there is nothing to fight for
No reason to desire life would be a bore
Amethyst art would starve forever more
No apple of the eye to amber adore

Without love music would be dead
The humming of machinery could be heard instead
Humanity would die off no kids born
Feelings would be liability and scorned

Without love I am an empty cocoa shell
With no inspiration no wishing well
No dedication or passion that bleeds
That is what lack of love does to me

God Ghost and Love Contest

Little child you are taught to believe that God and Jesus are one
and when Jesus died and arose He became the Holy Ghost
The Trinity.. The Father.....Holy Ghost ... The Son
confusing though it may be you will be tested in life's utmost
only to find love when you receive His body and blood, the Host

                                                 ***

To Much Love Contest

The word Love has been tainted
I love your dress
I love your new fishing boat
I love that new color of paint

Mankind cannot love physical things
Love is heart felt for all Nature
Not mans creations
The answer lies in the heart

I love your eyes
I love your lips
I love all of you but,
I sure love those new shoes

The answer is we love things that,
Cannot love us back, this we have to stop
Love comes from the heart
Not from a store

Love is the answer but the question is
What do we love more?
Mans creations or people and nature?

Perfect Love - Contest

perfection in all things
easy, you would think, but not when
re-daunting love is demanded,
forever constant drip of words
eating away my soul, feeling
claustrophobic, being smothered, by
total love which is demanded back

loyalty closes its eyes as
overbearing mother decides my future
vitriol thoughts circle my brain
erased my natural love for my mother

What Is Love - Abc Love Contest

Love gives you a feeling of joy and contentment
Making you bubble up inside
No one can take away this feeling
Overwhelming happiness you cant hide
Permanent smile upon your face
Quality of life shows  like a  blazing fire
Reeking of warm undying love
Sheltering in the depth of your desire

Love is a reason for living.

No Limits To Love Contest

Sunsets cherrish night,
                        Mornings glory, value's day
                           Shooting stars remind.

                            Meteor showers,
                   The heart that reached galaxies,
                            No limits, to love.

How high can my love reach?

I Wanted You To Stay-In the Mood For Love Contest

Walking in the hallways, day after day...
That look we both locked, and since that day,
  I knew I wanted you...
       -To stay...

I never believed in love at first sight...
Until that day I saw you pull up, my soul in flight,
Walking into school, and you walking into... my life.
             So young, yet so deep,
Having a hard time falling asleep.
     Do you fantasize of me?
              My illusions, so intense,
    But there's never a guarantee.
 I was lost...it was you,
            Redeeming my unpleasant qualities.
Believing my narrative emotions,
     Me clinging onto your devotion,
Will it always be this way?
I knew I wanted you...
       -To stay...

Hands held in crowds,
   And kisses on my cheek,
Intertwined roots growing into a lilac bush,
   Lavender so fresh,
   Scents of summer so sweet,
Driving no where and everywhere,
       together...
First date, chills up my spine,
God please, forever,
I've never felt so much pleasure.
Classmates so jealous,
   Our confidence never silenced,
        So much older than me,
  Who can ever deny us?
Proving them wrong,
       So far beneath us,
Underground and all around,
Before you my heart was buried,
       In the lost and found.
All it took was one saving grace,
I knew I wanted you...
      To stay...

Created from one glance,
As you walked into your class,
Your jaw dropped, my heart sank,
      Your sincerity, hope to last,
No breathing, mind completely blank,
       Pretending not to obsess,
  My never ending hour glass,
You being you, me being me,
Us being us, meeting by the maple tree,
   Could you be the one?
Would you live only for me?
  Constructed abstract drawings,
     Paintings from the 1st century,
Before time was clocked,
  And after miles we walked,
My sentiment everlasting,
      Sidewalks full of chalk...
  Teenagers with eager anticipation,
Future full of high expectations,
You brought me such a beautiful bouquet,
Oh how I hope with me...
       -You'll stay.

A Vice You Love-Contest

A Vice You Love Contest
Sponsor: Rob Carmack

If I had to pick my most undesirable vice,
My first thought was that I can be a little possessive,
And as my mind started racing unruly,
It had to be my mind is constantly obsessive.

Fear... of being out of control...keeps me awake,
And as I start to fall asleep, my eyes wide open,
Reasoning with my psyche, tossing and turning,
My ability to dream has been torn and broken.

Disturbing moments of destroyed observations,
Time wasted on clutter built up in my insanity,
Revealing all my neurotic complications,
I see no understandable remedy indefinitely.

The instant anxiety I feel when I get in my car,
The what if's and consuming thoughts,
What will I do if I get into a car accident?
I can only hope that it's not my fault.

Those thoughts lead to will I make it on time,
I can't be late for that important meeting,
So I show up an hour too early,
My heart races and I can't control my breathing.

How about that time I turned on the news,
There was a tornado down in Tennessee,
Oh no! My sister lives there!
It becomes a tormenting catastrophe.

Then that time my husband lost his job,
I can't control the unmanageable obsessing,
How will we pay bills, afford food?
My unfortunate wild emotions progressing.

Please save me from my weakness,
And bring me to a peaceful state of mind,
May I learn to let go and try to relax,
It's sad that I will never be able to rewind.

But when I think long and hard,
About how my worry can be a benefit,
I need to go to the Lord for help,
For He is my saving requisite.

This terrible secret of a vice so rewarding,
One probably wouldn't believe,
Even though it's crazy to love such a thing,
The Lord gives me constant relief.

God, Ghost and Love- Contest

We are in the tears of those who weep.
We hear all of you like the dove.
We watch over you no matter awake or asleep.
We are not below, and we are not above.
We are everywhere, we are God, Ghost and Love.

In the Name of Love Contest

In The Name Of Love - Contest

Oh please complete me with your hands tonight,
As I see your smile shine under the moon,
Whisper in my ear our love is just right,
Please let your erotic touch heal my wounds.

Our warm affection and devotion now,
Brings us to a reality of dreams,
And as we feel our red romance avow,
We automatically share heartstrings.

And everything we both have struggled through,
Time alone is not good enough for us,
And everyday our love soars bright anew,
Our winds of love dances and sings with gust.

There are no words to express and convey,
The passion we so tenderly portray.

Bid On My Love Contest

Understanding the nature of the quality of you,
Adoration offered and our alone time over due.

Admiration of our silence underneath our moon,
Beaming of thoughts that our baby will be born soon.
