No matter how bad our life has been the Lord always brings us lost sheep back to where the
pastures are green, never will he leave you never will he forsake you. to anyone who is lost
Just ask the Lord to show the way home he will come and fetch you. Amen. to anyone who
feels Lost God will find you and bring you home.

(Joy Over Sinners' Repentance
MT 18:10-14
LK 15:1-7)
The tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to listen to him
The Pharisees and scribes began to complain
Saying
"This man welcomes sinners and eats with them
" So to them he addressed this parable
"What man among you having a hundred sheep and losing one of them would not leave the ninety-nine in the desert and go after the lost one until he finds it?
And when he does find it
He sets it on his shoulders with great joy
upon his arrival home, he calls together his friends and neighbors and says to them,
'Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.'
I tell you,
In just the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance. (LK 15:1-7)
Brave Texas woman rides horse after Mary’s white sheep.
Sheep taken while girls watch hanky-panky movie.
Cross River finds green field empty.
Minny Mouse gives dozen sheep water.
Horse yield tired, needs break.
Rogue tiger hears lunch bells, mouth water.
Lambs chops fried, makes great table plate.
Black wolfs lofty large sharp teeth scare tiger.
Tiger cries, belly hurts, maybe wolfs share sheep.
Woman shows small rifle which drive large wolfs south.
Wolfs smile, visit piggy house, worth their labor,
mouth water, stuff apple piggy mouth sound sweet.
Large brick house saves piggy.
Girls awake, where Mary’s sheep flock?
Girls didn’t proper watch furry sheep.

There once was a leader called Blair
To the Iraqi war he declared
Like little lost sheep
None of his party did weep
Not one was found dead lying there
I was a lost sheep
I hope my shepherd will find me
Walking with a relentless weep
Dressed in blue, hoping He'll see me
I am a wandering sheep
Traveled into innumerable hills
With wound that so deep
That doctors cannot heal
I am a worried sheep
Though studied carefully to learned
Between heaven and earth I stepped
Looking for brilliance to enlighten my lantern
I am the symbol of most here on earth
Sheep that looking for serenity, before we board into our coffin
Confused of many pretentious being, promising to fill our dearth
Hopefully, before I fly into the sun, the true shepherd will find me...

Mysterious Aries
Red's and orange green yellow and gold.
The colours of the Fall
unfold.
So many spring stories
Untold...
And I am
here
on a concrete steep...
trying to help some
young lost sheep.
" The complexities of the modern world,
astound me man. "
it was 10-10-10
just the other day.
I will not look the other way.
I will help that one
that went astray
so Help me God I cannot even
help myself...
Your colors are
austere today.

I can’t smile
When my heart is sorrowful
I can’t help
When my mind is vague
I can’t dream
When my life is vissionless
Oh! my creator
When will my heart be happy?
Oh! my God
When will my mind be hopefully filled?
Oh! my diviner
When will my life be alive?
May be,
When my lost sheep is returned to me
Safely and alive
Then I smile
And my heart is happy.
Inspired by Psalms 23:1-6 (enjoy, poets!!) :
v. 1-3
I’m a lost sheep, hoping for a godly sleep
LONGING for a delightful sleep
In search of my beloved shepherd…
I was willing to pray for some rewards to reap
To pray for a heavenly dream…
Not a frightening nightmare…or I’ll scream!
Now, I’m satisfied
With godly sleep
I lie my head down
In green pastures
That’s where I seek
God’s comfort…
The paths of righteousness
Renews my faithfulness
v. 4-6
I’m passing through the shadow of death…
In yield of Your staff
The Lord whispers in my ear gently:
“Fear no evil, for I’m with you!”
To pick me up from the ground…
And heal me…I’m trying my best
Let me have a moment’s rest
In search of Your Promise Land…Your nest
Fill my cup with Your mercy
And give me a piece of your serenity…
A taste of sincerity...a slice of sensibility...
A flavor of integrity...
I beg You to take care of me…
And hand me a portion of eternal glee
You are my kindhearted, generous shepherd
My comforter…my reliever
My God…I’m most certainly YOUR believer
You aren’t a deceiver…
I was once a downright nonbeliever
You are MY awesome God
I’m strengthened and comforted by Your rod!
I’m walking Your narrow path of mercy and goodness…
I’m dwelling in God’s house~
I was once a lost sheep
Mourning night after night…
I used to forlorn day after day
I’m alarmed and I’m yearning for Your light
Your might…Your delight
To get through my plight…to fight the good fight
I used to weep bitterly in dismay
I was once a lost sheep
But, now I’m enjoying my godly sleep
I’m skipping to and fro
In God’s green pastures…I lie…
I sing …I grow…I wander off…I fly…
I float…in God’s still waters –
His PEACE will never die!
He lifts me up on cloud nine
I’m a lost sheep in godly sleep
He nurtures me like His child – I’m feelin’ fine
I’m a joyful sheep in godly sleep
A shepherd loses
one sheep of a hundred, goes
and looks for the one, rejoice
when found, or of the
woman losing one coin of
ten and when found, rejoiceth
*As scriptured
Jesus spoke to welcomed sinners and feasted with them, loudly enough to be heard by the abiders of the Laws, who was in the midst, and they were critical of him to be amongst the wretched crowd, ergo, the parables, whereto, leaving the ninety-nine righteous souls, and seek out the one lost soul, or not be denied the full value of your worth, and seek out that within you that has been lost, and once found, you are made whole again, indeed, a righteous soul.

try to picture yourself as a sheep
you're in the meadow where the grass is dry, patchy and bare
you turn around and see that the other sheep are no longer there,
maybe they were thirsty and went to find a brook
so you take a wander to go and have a look,
you come to a stream and see the sheep on the other side
but you carn't get across as the stream is far too wide,
you begin to wonder what you will do
then a voice comes out of the blue
" do not fear don't dispare I will help you get over there"
then a kind man appeared out of no where,
he gently carries you across to where the pastures are green
and the other sheep asks "where you have been?"
I was in the meadow I was lost and all alone
then the kind mans voice said
"my lost sheep welcome home"
we are like the lost sheep but we no longer have to wander around alone
for the Lord is the good shepherd who always brings his lost sheep back home. I once was
lost but now I am found Amen.
when I think
that I am lost
God searches for
me like a shepherd
searches for his
lost sheep
It’s a world of contradiction
And the truth is hard to see.
Yes, the path is full of dangers
Leading where I would not be.
I’ve been wrong in my decisions
When my thoughts were not of you.
And my footsteps only falter
And I fail in all I do…
And I fail in all I do…
I’m no good at contemplation.
Meditation’s not my bag.
And trying to find the forest
Through the trees is just a drag.
Am I wrong in my assumptions?
Can I find some solid ground?
Cast your loving gaze upon me!
Lift me high when I am down!
Lift me high when I am down!
For my heart grows ever restless...
Yes. I know it’s a cliché.
But the truth is there within us
And we miss it every day…
So, I halt here on my journey.
Try so hard to look around
For the true and faithful shepherd.
Can this poor lost sheep be found?
Can this poor lost sheep be found?
There’s a wide and lonely distance
Separating you and me.
And the fault lies here within me.
That’s so obvious to see.
So, I listen for your voice now.
Won’t you tell me all’s okay?
Take my hand and stay beside me.
Walk together on the way…
Walk together on the way…
Just One Lost Sheep
By Brandlynnn Stevens
“Just one lost sheep, father. Let me go find him”
To his father a Sheppard boy cried.
“I know he’s out there, he may be in danger
He may be caught in the river’s tide.”
“Ninety- six, ninety- seven, ninety- eight, ninety- nine.
But there’s still one sheep missing from the fold.
We’d better go find him, no telling where he is.”
The father to the son so told.
They went out searching, though dusk was upon them,
And left behind the ninety and nine.
Wherever he’s lost, the sheep is too precious
Too precious to be left out behind.
They found the sheep, and brought him back,
They brought him back to the fold.
Now he was safe in a sheltered place,
And he was out of the bitter cold.
“Just one lost sheep, Father. Let me go get them.”
The good Sheppard to His father cried.
“I know they’re out there, and I know they’re in danger.”
So on the cross, the good Sheppard died.
no sleep
go weep
for Brian's footle contest, written 21st December
"Are you lost?" asked the sheep
in the front
(not the one who'd gone to sleep).
I'd gone to get some air and walk...
a strange question -
to hear this stray creature talk!
"I'm a man and know quite a lot
(if I say so).
I've learned things that you cannot.
I know about countries and beliefs,
and also,
borderlines, property, and thieves."
The sheep just smiled and smelled a flower.
I stopped speaking
and whiled away a sunny hour.
I wonder why this sheep did me, accost.
Is it not him, but me, who's lost?
