Best Life Other Poems
Like an archaic humanoid dinosaur
you plunder through life taking no prisoners,
with your philosophical knuckles dragging on the ground.
You are a dying breed born of privilege and tenacious greed,
tendering little in life other than your selfish need.
What is it you seek in life other than your very personal comfort?
You never give a sideways glance to anyone with no chance of adding to your
circumstance; narrow minded cruelty subsidies the shutdown of any
tenderness, allowing emotional banalities to supersede integrity.
Your karmic debt is too cancerous to be free -
a lover of women among inept men,
but piteous fodder for contempt among strong women.
Neanderthal, you tossed love off the tongue like spit flung and stung my cheek with
runny dung....in disgust I turn away at your insipid attempt at manhood.
So many conquests, so little time.
The pittance you gave is but a trail of unwitting shame,
littered like Gretel's bread crumbs into a wilderness of pain...
How sad you thought such a pittance could buy my soul.
I am no longer a member of your colonial servitude,
and you are an inept fossil long past its prime.
From this moment, Narcissistic Neanderthal,
I am free.
I sat in awe and watched them
make the stage a world,
where everything,
everything
could happen.
The music took me away from
where I was sitting.
Drifting me on invisible lines.
And I dreamt.
I dreamt.
Their hair in braids,
their colourful clothes,
their graciousness.
A jump a deer, or swan.
Arms a house to live in.
Embracing all the world from
love to death and beyond.
And I danced, I danced,
my music danced in my head,
my words, sung on paper,
were spoken on stage.
Lived a life other than ink
or syllables.
I lived there.
I bowed for my imaginary public.
My mind a stage,
all dancers,
all words,
all the music.
This dream kept me alive.
This dream makes me a poet
who sees colours and music
in words, and enjoys
just that.

Happy Family
There is no closer bond in our life other than with relatives.
How bad a problem between family members can also be always a thought about it from both sides with a desired reconciliation.
We can never choose on our own family, only when we get married to swear the oath for trust, our in-laws also can become the family member of us.
A Successful family is when everything is well organized in harmony with each other, so that every problem can be solved peacefully.
It will be grandiose if everyone in the family can rely on each other in any circumstances, this also give us a soothing and relaxing feel.
The family love is something that can go to the extremes between members with a limitless desire for each other and it is indispensable in a family relationship.
It’s give and take among themselves but without having any thoughts to extract benefit from each other.
We only able to meet a few people in our life in which we can treat them the same as our family member, but with them we can develop a super good friendship and they are indispensable in our life.
When our family grows then several new members has been added which makes our life becomes more meaningful and the love play a major role with mutual respect.
We would never miss our family, because we’ve learned a lot of life experience from them with joy and fun thus we becoming the person we are now.
And now we can be very proud with ourselves because of the family members we have with us all the time through thick and thin.
Our thoughts will always with them, even when they are out of sight , they still conquered a place deep inside our heart.
I wish you a healthy life.
Kindly Regards,

Surrounded,
Trapped in
Taken out of my home land
Brought into a new place
8000 miles of scared
8000 miles from freedom
8000 miles of bars,
That encloses me
Nothing but walls and darkness
So, what is life, other than a cage for me?
I feel as though I am a gift,
Wrapped up,
Made in Africa
Shipped from the motherland
Thrown, broken and given away
Shred from my knowledge
Brainwashed by my owner
Abused by myself
So, what is life, other than a cage for me?
My heart beats faster
The rhythm stuck in my head
2000 miles from love
2000 miles from safety
2000 minutes watching those memories leave me
And only one thing stopping me from running
So, what is life, other than a cage for me?
My mind is lost in thoughts
Thoughts I can’t control
Thoughts that can disappear from me
Thoughts that I can’t stop from traveling back 2000 miles
Thoughts that keep me locked up
So what is life other than a cage for me?
I try to fight past the sights
My eyes have to endure
The sights of my brothers and sisters
Being destroyed by their brothers and sisters
The sights of screams
From a mother trying to save her children
But they already have us
Locked up in boxes,
Shipping us away
So what is life, other than a cage for me?
I smell flesh
Flesh of my four parents
Flesh that has been hung up like beef in a Chinese market
Flesh that has been burning for thousands of years
Flesh waves over my nose,
As I sit here thinking,
What is life, other than a cage for me?
As I sit here wondering,
I can’t help but imagining
Is this the life that Martin Luther King dreamed of?
Is this the life that Malcolm X fought for?
Is this the life that Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat for?
Is this the life that Lil Wayne tattooed to his body?
Is this the life that Beyoncé sings about?
So I must ask myself one last time,
What is life, other than a cage for me?
WHAT’S IN A NAME
My Name?
I'll set the record straight, right now for what it's worth
Wordancer was not the name my mother gave me at my birth.
My avatar can be Emu, Fairy, Frog, or a dinner suited Wagtail
Like the one who tattles to the birds when a Cat is on their trail.
This Poetically Spirited Soup shows there’s a welcome at the door,
I don't know you; you don't know me, I'll see you on the dance floor
As I travel through this varied life other names I sometimes own,
Like, Eliza and Threadneedle, they're all part of me alone.
On the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula, on the South Australian coast
Near the town of Yankalilla, is the place that I haunt most,
And if you're ever down our way the door is left ajar
You'll be welcome whether travelling from close by or from afar.
Oh yes, I love to dance.
Wordancer
The Last Wave Goodbye
For 92 years she has lead a charmed life.
In her words: “I’ve had no devastating event in my life other than death of family.”
“Am I being selfish she ask?”
“I’ve lived so long and I know I will die sometime of something.”
“Was it wrong of me not to want surgery at my age and the pain and sickness of medical treatments that would prolong my life in an intolerable state?”
I want to die with dignity at home in my bed with my family around me.
I don’t want anything to heed my path to Heaven.
Just keep me comfortable, warm and clean.
Place a cool cloth on my fevered brow.
Please don’t let your fear interfere with my leaving.
My love for you is boundless.
Please understand and let your love be the same.
To love is to let go so I can return as your guardian angel.
This tired old body is all that will be left behind.
My happiness, love, kindness and my wave’s goodbye at the door are my spirit soul and is going to Heaven.
All you need do is call out for me and I will be by your side once again.
I’ll flicker a light, vibrate your bed, or whisper in your ear.
I am not ending but beginning a new and wonderful trip.
Be joyous of my new birth and freedom from all sickness and pain.
I’ll not be dead and gone.
I am merely changing addresses.
Every now and then I am asked to write a poem…an honor for which I feel blessed…
but yesterday, in all honesty, I received a very strange request.
I recently wrote a poem on how basic math relates to life…which must have left one reader in awe…because he asked me if I could do the same with…wait for it…Algebra.
Apparently he has grandchildren who need a little persuasion…as to why they need to study symbols and equations.
First of all…Algebra can be funny…it’s not all boring numbers, symbols and graphs…Here’s a joke that to this day…makes algebraic mathematicians laugh:
To answer the who, what, where and when in life other mathematical processes apply…but Algebra is the only one where you can find an answer for Y.
I know studying letters and symbols can be a source of agitation…but did you know we use Algebra every time we make a calculation?
As a child when you saw a toy across the room or even those candles on the birthday cake you were blowing…you were calculating distances, using Algebra…yes, without even knowing!
In sports any time you throw or catch or kick a ball…or when you’re older…determining the spread…all these moments you are instinctively doing Algebra in your head.
At thanksgiving as you cook your turkey…Algebra is there to please…it helps you calculate how long it takes to cook a 20 pound turkey…at 350 degrees.
Without algebra we wouldn’t have TV, or video games and over us a decision would loom…when we’re redecorating and trying to determine the area of a room.
Or how much grass we need to landscape our lawn…and we’d be considered a fool…if our calculations were incorrect and our back yard was too small for our pool.
Algebra helps us determine a healthy diet…more vegetables…less fries…
and given our height, weight and body mass…the best form of exercise.
It’s true we have Google, Alexa and Siri now…all products of Algebraic conception…but what are you going to do when the electricity goes out…and you no longer have reception?
So please go to Algebra class…do your best…you don’t have to be a whiz kid…
Because when you’re older looking at that 20 pound turkey…and Alexa has no answer…You’ll be glad you did.
What is this world?
I don’t know it at all.
How do I choose food?
Remember to lock my door?
I’m not made for these times.
Conversation engaged my mind.
Silence takes me down hard.
I want to smell water in the air,
see it expansive and blue.
Seems like it was all peace now.
Remembering.
No bitterness, no fighting.
I resist this new way deeply.
And I know I was on a roller coaster
every day back there.
Had to fight to get my point across
or to defend my heritage.
A life which revolved around pine trees
is at the very least - oxygenated.
This isn’t easy for me
taking buses when I can’t remember
where they stop or what time.
Often, I get off at the wrong place
and find myself in trouble.
For the dark nights in pouring rain
coming up the mountain in his car.
To have those chats, to eat dinner together
my juice watered down with ice water.
He was the one who closed up the house
to some degree when we’d leave
but it never needed much it was so huge.
The kitchen alone was as big
as my new place entirely.
How many drawers....bins....cabinets
there were to store things I didn’t
ever even use once.
So easy then. A dishwasher. Ice cubes.
The car to place my purse on the seat
next to me and my drink in the spot.
Couldn’t see it coming just like my marriage.
Impossible to imagine a life other than that.
But, in both cases, it happened
irregardless.
I’m frightened. What am I doing here?
The remorse is furiously ravaging
torment passes through my mind as I lay awake at night
gathered in my guilt are the acts I have carried out
yet I love what I did but my emotions are raw
pleasured moments have led to my downfall
This grief of my soul has edged away in times of lewdness
This guilt i speak of is in me but i learn to control it
I want to be punished but I still want my life
releasing this pain will only end my life, is it pain i deserve
I have so much goodness in me but this dreaded curse I have just will not dissolve
I am a human of many sides taken in by beauty and feckless towards one's feelings
I observe then seek my capabilities in such twisted rage
grant me a way through to be better.. But don't forgive me
I want to be so much yet I am cornered, trapped by my life's choices
I could have been so much, doubting even my forgiveness would make me feel happy
I hunger for a new start of a different life other than my own
I wish to be someone else now, i wanted to change once
taking the moment to understand why..why me..why them
I have so much emotion that my eyes stay open at night
maybe what I'm looking for is the night to end and my eyes to close
Collaboration with Marcello Eans
I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by others
That don’t seem to know what it means to love.
In the relationships I’ve had, I’ve always felt smothered.
All I’ve ever wanted was a little help from above.
So, here I am now, getting down on my knees,
Praying to a God that I hope really does exist.
I’ve done nothing in my life other than try to please.
Why won’t you answer me? Don’t keep me in the dark like this.
Are there rewards for the deeds done from my heart
In the midst of savages tearing my character apart?
To love those who hate me, forgive and forget.
In the beginning, this can’t be the plan that was meant.
I want to give up daily and call it quits,
But my life is a best seller and can’t end like this.
I’ll run this race to win and endure what I must.
Sometimes I don’t show it, but it’s you that I trust.
Being a lover of poetry so much
but good to make time for other things
variety they say is the spice of life
enjoy real satisfaction for what it brings
I've always been a great lover of books
so I still love a really good read
whether history, bio or Christian thought
obviously, poetry inspires me up to speed
Walking is something I love to do
especially among nature colours so clear
among the woods branches and twigs
has such effect to inspire all that's near
Music has always been a love of mine
tastes have changed over the years
at one time in my 20s, punk was my thing
now latterly classical soothes all my fears
In all of this, I've enjoyed variety
brings joy to my life fort each day
so good being alive whatever our years
enjoying these pastimes hoping to stay
(This is a piece to describe what hobbies/pastimes fill my life other than poetry.)
Why
Oh! People created something for questioning why,
Few ones hate their parents and mother bcz of love why.
Why a girl is so important in someone's life
Whether everyone known to it there is pain in love always
Why
people getting love to each other then why one of them ditch others why
Life come sorrow bcz of girl why
No one is important in life other than her why.
If you find happiness everywhere then u definitely find a hidden pain and sorrow why.
No one knows from where sorrow or happiness comes but comes why
People making their life with fun say themself COOL but who says this in actual they having ocean of sorrows why.
I think so manytimes if the word WHY is not in book then everything is gone alright .

"I hope for a hereafter, where there would be four rivers,
one of clear water, one of milk, one of honey and one of wine.
a place where there would be high thrones and tall people;
where green silk clothes would be worn, with gold bracelets and crown full of rubies.
Peace will be lingering in the air,
evil will be jealous, its heart blaring as bright as the sun rays.
the sand underneath the feet would be of gems, from emeralds, to sapphire, to topaz and diamonds.
and there would be boys like pearls walking around, their beauty too bashful to perceive, unimaginative to fathom.
a life I want,
a life I dream of.
where every sound is like a soft piano key,
where every heart beat is tranquility.
There would be nothing but what you wish for,
a place filled with possibilites, infinities and everlasting certainties.
Smiles will be on each and every face,
a joyous moment that will never perish.
a place that will never end.
an irresistible beginning that will last forever.
Oh, how I would give anything to stain myself with a piece of heaven,
Oh, I would rather get martyred than die in vain.
everyone asks if there is a life other than this, other than today.
I will say Yes, there is.
A Nirvana that will be a thousand times better than your lousy Saturdays.
You wont be sad,
you wont be hurt,
you'll only feel glad,
you'll be overflowing with mirth."
The wonderful story of life begins. And then came Calum... Is there any greater joy in life other than creating a new heartbeat. This is how my new grandson came to be.
Four eyes sparkle
Two smiles appear
One conversation strikes
A first date is set
Another follows
Six months later...still dating
Happy one year anniversary
Happy two year...
Happy five year
Finally...he kneels
She accepts
One year later...
The rice is thrown
A wonderful honeymoon
One year passes
Two years pass
Uh oh...
Cramps!
Nine months pass
Boom!
Six eyes sparkle

I swear this medication
is taking all my dedication
withdrawal after withdrawal
is making life no fun at all
why were some of us born with brains that overthink
we drown ourselves in life, other people, drugs or a drink
I feel I keep falling down
reaching out but no one is around
so if you take the time to read this
you will see I didn't learn to write yet I bleed this
in the group home was I just a mistaken youth
forced to popped pills mixed up in my juice
from thirteen medications down to the final three
will I ever find myself again we will have to wait and see. -TA
