4 30 Am When Sheep Leap and Lay In a Heap
It's 4:30am and I can't sleep,
the sheep leap and lay in a heap,
told me they're tired and got shut eye,
even my own mind has shunned I,
lets just freestyle this rhyme and see where it goes,
it beats laying in the dark watching that ghost,
across the room...

Spirits Leap To Touch Autumn's Splendor

When small fires and hot soups are needed,
We think to leave behind great summer greens
Looking back at crops long ago weeded
Recalling future promise of our teens,
Good-byes, waved to grains heavy and golden;
We give hellos to coming Autumn's hues
Memories stored from...

I do not think I know so many brave people, really.
Dare to face your fears .... not avoid it
Fearless dare to tread into the unknown
Fearless ... To be able to do something you're afraid of
Go in a dark and...

Premium Member Take the Leap Into My Heart
Frolic into these open arms that need you.
Melt into my lips, and let them feed you.

Let the breath of love's kiss
and my eager feet lead you

into my heart's majestic garden.
Bloom freely, my beauty. I'll never weed you.

There is one trophy in this growth,
and it is,...

The Leap
A blaze of silver breached the surface,

Muscle flexed, sinew taut.

Through the raging waterfall,

Upwards struggled, strived and fought.

Her mighty tail thrusting, driving

Instinct pushing, nearly spent.

A heroic leap, she jumped again !

Over the waterfall, the salmon went.

Two year olds leap
before they look
DADDY!
replaces gravity
then writhe laughing
from your arms
AGAIN!
I’ll always catch you
for these moments
pass too soon....

The Jaguar's Leap
Fearless jaguar
Making your leap
Into Destiny
I wish you luck

Your Spotted grace
gliding off of
The Rock
In intensity

You and your
Velvet pelt
Dotted in gold and brown
are thrown into infinity...

Stood on the roof of the Empire State
Two American men and their new English mate
It’s true that a bourbon or two had been had
Perhaps that’s what made them all act a bit mad

The Englishman, clearly, had drunk a bit more
His friends shared a secret which...

Look Before You Leap
Too many people dont look upon the path that they tread

Too many sins of the government

Is why our soldier's lay in their graves dead.

Each soldier hailed a hero in death

But their death wasnt necessary

To be without their life breath.

Led by a government who leads their...

Having passed on to the night, the day

New birth in the morning, a revival sway.

Life, a relationship in flux, takes place.

To a different planet, a new embrace.

An awe-inspiring gift from the Cosmic Link

Our "jump and contend" can't be in sync.

Poetics Poem, Red River Gorge, KY

I traipse the course of a forking, rambling stream
Barefoot from the rounded top of one small boulder
To another, the slashing strikes of cold water
Startling my every careful leap, place to place,
Landing with deep, short gasps, yet wordless
In an utter joy...
