Best Inundate Poems
I write upon the fluttering pages of your mind,
My words of hope to make your spirit soar:
Reveal your inner light and charm,
When dark gloom and grief sow
Seeds of despair, never let them your soul pursue
And grow; pluck them out and away you throw.
I write upon rustling leaves of your thoughts that flow
From the tree of your heart, my words anew
To ease your unease and repose:
When dreadful storms do harm
Your mind's cool ocean, let pearls of peace cast ashore,
And help you smile at warm sunrise behind.
I write upon those empty spaces that I find
In your fragile heart, my words to implore
You to be ever poised and calm:
When endless waves of woes
Try to inundate you, never let them drown you.
Bask in the brightness of your own glint glow.
" Oh, you thoughtless and egotistic creatures that
call yourselves humans.
You, who are daily complaining of the floods that
inundate, your lands, your cities, your streets, and
your homes.
Have you not yet understood that all this water is
nothing else but my tears caused by the pain
inflicted by your blasphemous and barbaric ways upon
my once fertile and pristine face? "
Thus spoke Mother Earth and then released her tears!

Shutter captured lady in the rail
Sitting in the midst of her woe
Feels like a demon ... Beelzebub? fail?
Shutter captured lady in the rail
In her being, sins are in veil
Myriad tears now pouring, herself is her foe
Shutter captured lady in the rail
Sitting in the midst of her woe ...
Fallen angel from heaven's gate
Inundate with dewdrops of tears
Sent to seek for her humanly fate
Fallen angel from heaven's gate
To discern the worth of her blasphemy's weight
Heart's now bonded with God - sky clears
Fallen angel from heaven's gate
Inundate with dewdrops of tears ...

Penning my thoughts is an important part of who I've become.
Some memories hit me hard, like they're beating on a drum
forcing me to acknowledge them, and a poem is the outcome.
Others make me smile, and to write of them I gladly succumb.
There are moments when my emotions inundate me with rage.
Flames ignite inside me that I fear could singe or burn the page.
That pent up angst against someone or thing I have to assuage
and writing poetry frees me from rancor when I must disengage.
Not all I write is of personal experiences in which I've had a role
I'm a bit too private to compose an intricate blueprint of my soul,
but I open my thoughts when creating idyllic imagery is my goal
and reveal heartache when writing of lost love and I lose control.
I write because when my heart is broken, I allow myself to cry
If my wounds have need to bleed, I offer no excuses as to why.
I can break Cupid's arrows, and clip his wings so he'll never fly
near me again, for love hurts too much to ever say 'good-bye.'
My poetry can sing a mourning song or take flights of fantasy
In verses I can choose to be anyone or anything I desire to be
The power of my pen can turn a fallacy into the truth and reality,
and change a pending tragedy into one that ends quite happily.
Authorship of verses gives me liberalism to pen with expression
Sometimes I concede my guilt and write a repentant confession
As a poet, I think composing is a catharsis to bouts of depression,
without exposing everything during a psychoanalyzing session.
I express my feelings when I view the beauty of a moonlit night
or when I witness sunrise paint the sky with glorious pastel light.
I scribe romantic sonnets about a princess and her white knight.
This gift of writing provides me with pleasure. and thus, I write.

Obfuscation, we like obfuscation
Obfuscation, the game we like to play
When you muddle and confuse, then you simply cannot lose,
Complicate, obfuscate,
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Obfuscation, we like obfuscation
Obfuscation, the game we like to play
Use a complicated word every time your voice is heard
Dazzle twits with your wits,
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Obfuscation, we like obfuscation
Obfuscation, the game we like to play
Seven letters and above are the words the game’s made of
Show your knowledge learned in college,
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Obfuscation, we like obfuscation
Obfuscation, the game we like to play
If your meaning’s understood, then the words are just no good,
Make it sound tres profound,
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Obfuscation, we like obfuscation
Obfuscation, the game we like to play
You will sound like such a whiz if your word selection is
Unintell - igible,
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Obfuscation, we like obfuscation
Obfuscation, the game we like to play
Postulate, exacerbate, extricate, pontificate,
Inundate, aggravate,
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Obfuscation, we like obfuscation
Obfuscation, the game we like to play
Cascade Serenade
Surrounded by a forest of trees
As a bastion from the outer realm
An invisible glade that hides from man
But fauna hear the distant sound
Of water flowing effusively
And from the acme, sanguined rocks
A cascade streaming echoed chords
Of music in the liquidly air
Then to the nadir it descends
Into a torrential waters rage
To inundate the florid grass
The moon creeps in and all is still
Except the sound of crickets words
Extolling Nature with their praise

If to love you, I must drown,
let me, Dear, not drown in water.
I wish to lie beside you
and drown in the profound -
of your chestnut chocolate eyes.
Say my name. Let if fall
silken from your lips.
I sink into a euphoric abyss
imagining your mouth
on the nape of my neck -
the whisper of it drifting delicately
until tenderly you tempt me with
your first soft kiss upon my lips.
Inundate me with every kiss.
There-after, I would gladly drown
in the deluge of
that tiramisu bliss.
Engulf me with lavender longings
that crescendo to a cardinal craving
with every inch of my skin
that the feathery fingers
of your beautiful hands
paint upon my quivering body
with crimson caresses.
Let me die slowly,
submerged in your ambrosial ardor,
melting with the luscious lava
of our love.
Hurricanes howling from tropical storms.
Under watch and warning, everyone waits.
Radar shows rotating clouds taking form.
Rain bands flood roads as downpours inundate.
Intensity grows; winds accelerate.
Conditions worsen, each moment seems tense
As buildings strain with winds lashing against.
No one feels safe; we think, is this the one?
Eye at last passes, and once danger ends
Survivors emerge to check damage done.

MINI VACATION
sweetness of four days
off in a row
to pitter, to dream, to combat
the clutter and dust, even the walls
how have i missed that? to dream
on paper with dot to dots, morse
code – oh, help-me-not! so relaxed
like a mini vacation 24/7 – no rush
the slow grind of coffee beans –
taking moment to filter the smell through
my nose, the ah and ah, having time
on my side. the interlude of grands
their giggle girl laughs, rolling eyes,
oh – their sweet hugs, i can’t buy
and the birthday of a g-son too far
away – hope he had fun, a good one!
a lone pink cloud comes into sight
brimming at the window’s corner,
more of pink and lavender, like
eyelid shades. it’ going to be a pretty day,
my last day before work calls my name.
the wall of books surround me, poetry
of course – Langston Hughes, Carl Sandburg;
Unsinkable and even Little House On The Prairie
and first season of Downton Abbey – lotsa
chattering in that one (missing Poldark)
and just a scintilla of news, only a tiny bit
ah, yes, a vacation of sorts. and the best part –
visiting my folks, a day trip – asking my dad
questions that prompt his eyes to light up.
and to inundate me with so many details –
of water holes near the tracks, of Bethel Island,
of not eating ever, as he recalls in his childhood
memory sleepy state. a movie with mom.
perhaps an Oscar for LaLa Land. two great
big hugs as i leave. i needed this week!

Earthly Reality
The day silently journey toward anonymity with eyes wide awake
while a plethora of resolute flora thrives in a remote wilderness
Sacred sanctuary surreptitiously shelters slithering startled snake
as teardrops shaped raindrops inundate crops with earnestness
Moonlight ascend unfettered diffusing a dazzling gloss at its wake
illuminates silhouettes of grieving spirits drowning in emptiness
Noble acts of love could nurture even the tiniest forlorn snowflake
capable in igniting that dimming sparkle of human virtuousness

Aboard Vision of the Seas,
cruising towards Bermuda
Oh mother earth...hold me tight and cover me with your sweet embrace
Let the smell of the rain cover me upside-down
Inundate me with the muse of your grace
Oh mother nature....surround me with your crown
Color me with the colors of your spring
And delight me with your sun
Let me hear your music when you sing
Bring me the joy, bring me the fun
Let's celebrate every second from every day
Hold us tight with all of you
Wash our sins and delete our sorrow , take the pain away
Make us strong enough to make it through
Oh mother nature, from you we came and to you we shall return
Life means nothing if we don't enjoy it , if we let flames let our hearts burn

A lie slowly becomes' Mercy
As the truth suddenly becomes'
Crystal clear,
However,
There comes' a time where
Life has equated itself with Death
-----------
And yet,
The implications' so unclear
-----------
And then death has made off
With it's own consumption
Of Will
-----------l
As it breaches' it's own
Confidence inundate....
And has blended it's own
Way threw...
As We seek the resound
Sound know as the "Registrar"
He make's Legions' of me and you
--------------
When we do appear before him
Fore He is far beyond man
So repetitiously clear
He makes' short work of perdition
In the deliverance of all man
--------------
And He delivers' sanity soulfully at will
It is the "Just" among man
-------------
Then in a chasm like appurtenance
It becomes Evil Incorporate
Evil on demand
-------------
He then reveals' himself
-For-
He is but a creation threw time
He brings superstition
He play's with the mind
And this He has been doing
Since the beginning
Of time
GF
Blended candy and cocoa dreams;
inundate the senses of children;
as Santa stacks his sleigh,
with a palette of colored packages.
His belly-fuel,
Is sweet and warm.
Sharing with his reindeer,
will get him through his,
Christmas task.
Come morning, sounds of laughter and joy,
ring out on the air,
as everyone’s wishes are fulfilled.
Another Christmas,
Spins it’s web of happiness
and the Clauses, bed down,
for a well deserved sleep.
Just because I need love
You think that I am weak
Just because I have a heart
You think that I can break
A mountain once stood
Where the Titanic sank
And a scorpion king rules
Desert remains of a rusted tank
Since you fell from the sky
The wind haunts your wings
Your nest once a warm egg
Is now a scrambled thundering
The fall burn up all to char
And reduce all in your rise
Tsunamis inundate the shoreline
To bring us all to our knees
Eyes fill will her fuming
The blue horizon black and red
What to become of her seedling
The green earth now bled
Just because I need love
You think that I am weak
Just because I have a heart
You think that I can break
Peace and war
Why should the world like a magdalene
Cry over the war heinous atrocities
Abide reaping scores of casualties like sardines
Castigate fate and disregard unbridled hostilities
Why should the world license instead
War merchants over our destiny preside
Amble leisurely and upon our values tread
Inundate the market and imposts hide
Why should the world continue to swallow this bait
Let arms dealers bedevil our feeble minds
Turn a deaf ear to quandary and so peace ignite
Bury the hatchet and peace pipe light
We will tarry to God insistently implore
Yet bring war criminals to justice and terminate this folklore.
