Cascade Serenade

Cascade Serenade Surrounded by a forest of trees As a bastion from the outer realm An invisible glade that hides from man But fauna hear the distant sound Of water flowing effusively And from the acme, sanguined rocks A cascade streaming echoed chords Of music in the liquidly air Then to the nadir it descends Into a torrential waters rage To inundate the florid grass The moon creeps in and all is still Except the sound of crickets words Extolling Nature with their praise Any poem that got NA’ed in June-July 2017 Contest Sponsored by Janice Canerdy August 31, 2017
